I can hear the Silk laud and clear. But it is to me just another type of noise. Is there something that I can try to match up with my tinnitus frequency so that I can hear “nothing”?
So far this is the BEST Tinnitus flush sound I've heard. AND LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING for anyone who is afraid of severe Tinnitus!......... I am one of those who has is SEVERE SEVERE SEVERE.... I have to LIVE every day walking around with blu tooth and white noise playing!!!! I have definitely thought of leaving earth several times. I am NOT going to do that!!! I don't WANT TO. It scares me and I just have to do EVERYTHING I can to get through this. But I am. I'm annoyed as heck but just have to make sure when ANYWHERE silent especially my bedroom or car when it's shut off..... to QUICKLY get the headphones on and in my ears and the noise flush.. So hear me out (no pun)..... this is NOT easy and NOT comparable with other issues with our bodies.... this is a hell in itself. But just get outside more and even sleep outside if you can... and ALWAYS keep your headset with you and even a second one and phone battery back up charger. (For worse cases like me) Also.... yes there are Tinnitis support groups and if not then create one in your area!!! People will show up trust me!!! And they HELP!
Hi from Germany, our German medication is probably a little more advanced but alot of medication with gingko can help reduce or even make the tinnitus go away ❤
I am 31 years old and was diagnosed with tinnitus a month ago, so I am still trying to get used to this new lifestyle. It is so horrible to sleep with this sound in my ear, I go one night without sleeping, and then the next night I fall asleep only because my body is so drained. But this video helped me so much last night and will continue to use it! Thank You!
@me2? I bought one, but it is irritating, I'm used to silence at night.. but not anymore😔 I really hope they find a cure for this one day. Can't believe this is life now
I have it for 3 months now... it is hard to deal with. You have to find the frequency of your tinnitus (there are several websites for this) and then find a sound or video on youtube with that same frequency (mine is 16.000 hz). It is helpfull all day, but it is REALLY HELPFULL when you have to sleep.
Yes, the semi-nightly crashes. I used to think of those days as good times. Sleep. Can't remember what that's like anymore. The hardest part of tinnitus is the lack of motivation, a combination of exhaustion and questioning existence answered with 'why bother?" Found myself ground down to a stub of what I once was physically. The funny thing is, spirituality had just found me, and silence was my mantra, my anchor. Left with only one thought now that I see floating by occasionally, how I have no fear. More precisely, I do not care. Time is all that matters, how much time I have left in this prison, this torturous experience, since asking 'why me' is not only futile but spirituality brittle only capable of spiraling me into depressive gluttony. This here, what you're reading, is my good times, now. And this terrifies me. god speed
It's crucial to get the mixing point just right. You don't want to mask entirely your tinnitus. If you do so, there's a rebound effect the moment you stop the sound therapy, and the tinnitus can get louder afterward. That's not the aim. Listen to the sound louder enough to still hear your tinnitus above. Then, the tinnitus gets less and less bothersome (it starts to happen to me about 30-45 min after, results may vary for you). You can still hear it (same pitch, same volume), but it doesn't feel that intrusive. I hope this can help.
Hey, thank you so much for that information! I kept turning the volume up trying to mask the ringing. I was ready to give up but then I read your comment!
This is insane, im only 19 but ive had tinnitus since i was a kid :( . Its gotten progressively worse for me, and its finals week here in canada so it was getting really bad but this completely stopped it while I was listening to it. Words cannot express how grateful I am!!!
As a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran with tinnitus in both ears, I can truly say, that this is so refreshing and gives me hope for better days ahead. Thank you for your effort and thoughtfulness for creating this superb therapy! Namaste.
@@Ryan-xv3kc Hope you are doing well and taking good care of yourself for you are worthy of greater things to come. Thank you for your comment! Namaste. Semper Fi!
I used to use this sound every night, still do but only occasionally. I’ve had my tinnitus for almost a year now in both ears. I felt like my life was over… but I promise you it does get better and you do stop hearing it unless you think about it. I’m now so habituated to it I don’t ever need to play sounds when I sleep. Yes trying to always have a background noise does help but the thing is if you’re always thinking about fixing yourself up some background noise then you’re always going to be thinking about your tinnitus. The main thing that kicked off my habituation was one night I forced myself to sleep with it. After that it just got easier.
How are you today my friend?? I am a musician and I experienced tinnitus in my left ear due to the intensity of the music and the live shows. I have only been booked for 3 months. At first I thought about killing myself. Then I got used to it a bit. But week by week I feel that the intensity of the tinnitus is increasing and it doesn't calm down even with deep breaths like before. I'm generally a stressful person. Will the situation get better with time? What to expect? I am 36 years old. Thank you very much!
@@chrisk6488 I'm 20 years old and I'm thinking about going deaf by cutting off my ear rather than hearing this "buzzing sounds like someone threw a flashbang in my ear"
@@xanax33 the problem is not in the ear and it will not be solved if you cut it! It is in the nerves between the ear and the brain. Perhaps brain damage is more to blame. Do you have tinnitus? how long? What did you try to calm him down? (medications, exercise, etc). 🙂
@@chrisk6488 I don't know how long I've had it, but this week I started noticing this "buzzing" that feels like when you get a flashbang, it's very strong and I'm starting to feel exhausted and have headaches
Not sure if the author will ever see this comment but I’d like to thank you for this bit of relief. Almost in tears at the calmness I feel listening to this for the first time
Tell me about tears yes! Me too. I have completely freaked out and almost suicidal about this noise but I am not going to kill myself because I just don't feel I deserve to torture my existence! Also ruin my husband's life and Mom! I just have to now live with this and it scares me often. ....yes this particular noise is one of THEE best!
Nein es stimmt nicht !Ein guter Chirotherapeut bringt das in Ordnung bringt indem er den 3.Halswirbel wieder in die richtige Stellung bringt. Was ich hier lese ist für mich Kathastrophe pur und keine echte Hilfe
No wonder I love being out in nature . It always masks my tinitus. This Sounds like crickets chirping and birds in the background plus some water. .This is awesome 👌
Please keep this sound free on RU-vid. I dont know where I would be without it. And it seems to have helped many, many people just from reading the comments. Tinitus treatment is extremely difficult, and you guys are doing a great service to those of us suffering by keeping this up. I remember when this video came out. Right at the peak of my Tinitus severity, ive since learned to manage it and even have days where I dont or hardly think of it. Almost a million views is amazing. Ive listened to this every night since almost the day it was posted.
Dr. Ben, before I ever knew what sound therapy was I used to get up super early in the morning to sit in my back yard and listen to the sprinklers playing this exact sound, and it brought so much relief. I’m SO glad I have a recording now that I can play anytime. Thank you!
This is mindblowing. My tinnitus can be so darn loud, but when I listen to this video for just about 20 minutes, It's almost gone. It's like a reset. Thank you for this video, both of you.
I’m 32, I’ve had tinnitus since probably 5-6, I just came across this while at work and omg it’s working!! Nothing ever works! I can’t wait to sleep tonight!! Thank you!
That’s insane. I have been experiencing it for a little over a week now, but it used to come briefly and go, but now it is nonstop. I pray that it goes away soon.
Amazing. I’ve had tinnitus on and off since getting Covid in 2021. It’s been very loud the last several days . Stumbled across this video and it disappeared! Never had that happen - thank you for providing this relief!
I'm glad this video was able to provide you with a moment of quiet and comfort amidst the challenges. Hoping you experience ongoing comfort and relief.
Ah man. Yes covid certainly has accelerated my tinnitus. I have good and bad days, stress sets of headaches and the ears follow. Going to give this a crack. Cheers team ears
Covid got me too as my tinnitus is so much worse ever since and this is the first thing I've found that actually helps. Good to hear(pun intended :-) ) I'm not alone and hopefully this helps going forward.
I’m 49 and I’ve lived with tinnitus all of my adult life. My wife showed me this yesterday and it’s amazing. I would compare it to holding a heavy weight and finally unclenching your bicep to let it down. It brings a sensation of relaxation to my ears. I’ve tried all the white noise, green noise, fan, wind, rain blah blah blah. Nothing has relieved my ears like this. Amazing. ❤
Same for me, I cant support the colored noises, nothing even Rain or as you say blah blah blah..I will try this one but im afraid for my ears...how many time do you use this sound?
I’ve been having a T spike this past week. After listening to this several times in a row, I perceive no hiss in my right ear, and only a tiny high pitch in my left ear. Plus I’m so much more relaxed. Thank you Dale and Dr. Ben.
It isn't miraculous for me. The droning silk noise doesn't quite stop my tinnitus it only helps somewhat. It's like my brain forgets the ringing in my ear for brief moments in time before resuming again. Do I have to listen to this for several hours before I start feeling some sort of more lasting effect?
I started suffering in December when I was anxious about pending ulnar nerve surgery in February. The ringing was driving me insane. Depression. hearing tests.. then I googled you and joined utube. Listen to tape all night … woke up to silence … now I play it all day long … I’m afraid not to!!! Thank you …. I was going mad!
I have double tinnitus. High pitch in both and low hum in right ear. First month or so was very dark times. Drs of course say learn to live with it. I tried masking sounds but that’s one unwanted noise trying to be covered by another unwanted noise. That makes no sense to me. What is helping is acupuncture and naturopathic supplements for the anxiety and sleep. It didn’t take long after starting that to get back to sleeping well and to rid myself of anxiety. After 3 months, my life is back to normal. The tinnitus is always there but I can block it out most of the time with normal life activities: work, home, socializing etc. tinnitus sucks but it doesn’t have to take over. I encourage you to be careful before spending too much money on cures and online “fixes” when you have the ability within to get back your life on your own. I’m telling you this with nothing to sell you. It does get better.
I have had this for over a year and I can't say it's better. This sound in the video does help give my brain a break when I need it. Have you read that tinnitus can paralyze your brain?
@@christinesizemore2610 I'm guessing that you have reduced your caffeine and alcohol intake? Also when you are really tired makes it worse? That's what I find although everyone is different.
@@treblehealth yeah no my hearing loss and in turn my tinnitus have gotten worse. Do I now turn up the volume or start looking for a different sound. And how do I pick it?
Have only been listening to this for a few minutes but can already tell this is going to be fantastic for my ~10,600hz tinnitus. Thank you for changing lives.
Update: Played the video all night and it masked my tinnitus the whole time, and I only had to take half my prescribed medication to push me to sleep. Incredible. You’re saving lives, thank you for being such a giving and empathetic person.

Thanks Ben and Dale! It’s 4 am and when I woke up and started to go to my tinnitus playlist, this popped up! A rather loud fan on my bedside table helps me get to sleep, but when I wake up it’s hard to go back to sleep without additional distraction. Keep up the good work it is much appreciated!
You might try this as it worked for me. I listened toa 3000 hz tone for one minute and was absolutely shocked to find the ringing had reduced to the point I could just barely hear it. I did it over and it was gone to the point I could stick my fingers in my ears and not hear the ringing. Try it and let us know if it worked for you.
I've lived with tinnitus pretty much my entire life, from the time i was about 8yo. I don't know how it happened, I just noticed it one day. Reading some of the comments from people who got it later, i feel almost lucky that I'm acclimatized to it somewhat.
This is the best masking audio I have tried so far. I’ve been a sufferer for 3 years and I’ve tried all the sound masking on RU-vid, Spotify, and apps available on iPhone. Thanks for this. I feel like this one actually masks instead of just adding more noise on top of noise.
I can't believe it!!! Thank you for posting this. I have had pulsative tinnitus for at least 30 years and I have learned to live with it but have been searching for relief. I started listening to this; and it helped immediately! Thank you so much.
I'm truly glad to hear that the sound therapy provided immediate relief for your pulsatile tinnitus after such a long time. Your feedback means a lot, and I hope it continues to bring you comfort. 🤗
I found this engineered sound creation beneficial. I went to sleep after 5 minutes or so. Well done team! My tinnitus tends to be better when i am less tired.
Why is this interrupted after six hours of good sleep with an ADVERTISEMENT!? For the 3rd night in a row while sleeping great with the tinnitus masked, I was abruptly awakened out of a lovely sleep!
i've been dealing with tinnitus for almost two weeks now and i really dont know how i could have slept whitout this. i use it every night and it is now slowly becoming a signal for my brain that it is time to go to bed, and thus makes me sleepy. thank you!!!!
Any update? Do you still have tinnitus? Mine started 2 weeks ago in my left ear and has me feeling depressed and panicked that this is my new life. A reply would be appreciated.
It is almost completely gone! I had to quit caffeine and nicotine and weed and drink way less, which helps a lot. and only if I dont sleep a lot or get very stressed does the sound come back, but never very loud. It's different for everybody but i hope yours goes away too with time and effort! @@mikespence8895
@@hakanakyldz2329 I didn't really get used to it. it went away, but not on its own. I figured out that my tinnitus was triggered by extreme loss of sleep en high levels of stress. It happened when i was in a burn-out, so i had a lot of rest. now i try to sleep ten hours a day and keep my stress managable. I also figured out that alcohol, nicotine, weed/hash and caffeine make it louder. weed can make it permenantly louder. so i quit all of those and that helped a lot in the beginning. I think i'm lucky to have it fade this much, but maybe you are too! Have hope and be strong!
I've been listening to these for three days -- all the many hours that I am at my desk/day--the tinnitus goes from screaming to a very faint, high-pitched continuum in the left ear; the right ear has gone completely silent. I Thank God for you!🤩
I had a flare this week and found this new recording. Instant relief! Using it along with meditation has been quite helpful. This flare is now under control… more accurately, my reaction to this flare is under control thanks to meditation and this recording. Thank you!
Thank you for uploading this. I'm going to use this as a form of habituation therapy in hopes that my brain learns to "ignore" the sound and block it out.
So I’ve had terrible ringing in both ears for going on 2 weeks now, and when I go to bed it’s like pulsating ringing left to right, back and forth, up and down, it got me thinking if I was being attacked spiritually, it’s 5 am here in Austin tx, I found this video doing some research, and I will say from the bottom of my heart, whatever sound is on this video, it’s making it all go away. Literally. Thank you for bringing peace and helping. 🙏
This quieted down my tinnitus enough I heard silence for the first time in about 30 years. It lasts only a few seconds but holy hell what a relief. Thank you so much for this!
Many thanks indeed. I've tried several different tinnitus masking videos on YT, but they only drew more attention to my high pitched tinnitus tone, and seemed to make it more noticeable. This is the first one to properly mask it. A thousand thanks, once more!!!
OK...I'm trying not to overstate this...BUT...I listened to 3 hours of this while working today and my tinnitus is almost not perceptible and my hearing seems clearer. Amazing. It's early but I am very encouraged and will give updates. I'm 66 (people find that hard to believe) and woke up with tinnitus 2 years ago. My ENT tested and found minimal hearing loss but the tinnitus has been constant. Stay tuned.
3 weeks since tinnitus onset. It was mostly mild to be honest but I let myself get very worried and obsessed with it. Yesterday I took the first step to conquering my fear and obsession. I am happy to report preliminary findings... I haven't felt this good in weeks. I think I am on track to beat this darn thing into oblivion. Bless this channel for helping me when I needed information. I am hoping that the de-stress operation continues to work, so far so good. Bye. I wish you all well.

Hi Doctor. Please could you make an mp3 that we would pay for so that we can download for the night? Thanks this would help a lot of people I may sure ❤
So far so good as a near-total mask, but I probably need to play it at higher volume than I'm supposed to. It is one of the more impressive sounds. The others that were comforting sounded to me like impact sprinklers or crickets. I've been toying with ashwagandha, serrapeptase and nattokinase for other reasons, and some of those may be minimizing the level of my tinnitus. On most days I don't seem to notice it at all. I think controlling blood pressure helps.
This is very nice too. Am now using this and the ‘“POWERFUL’’ Tinnitus Sound Therapy’ together. Ohhh…..the relief is wonderfully soothing. Terrific therapies indeed 👍❣️👍
I've been following both Dr. Ben and Dale for a while now (started experiencing tinnitus around 3 years ago) and am so happy to see this collaboration. This sound helps me tremendously and put a smile on my face today.
I'm thrilled the sound relief tracks made a difference for you. Your feedback means a lot, and I'm glad they bring you comfort. Wishing you continued relief and peace with the background sounds! ❤️
My wife sent this to me. I've had tinnitus for over 30 years. Sometimes it gets so loud that I can't focus on anything else until it does down. This doesn't cover it up completely, but it's the closest I've come to absolute silence in my head for a long as I can remember.
I discovered I have this condition a few hours ago… I had it since I was a kid but I thought everyone has it… I put music when I slept and I didn’t even realise it was because of this condition… I am 20 years old right now any tips for the rest of my life? It wont go away I know that much…. Hopefully there is a cure for this one day and we can all benefit from it…
Best in Best Tinnitus Sound therapy i found this able to completely mask my extrusive unbearable tinnitus too ease love your work Dalesnale and Dr Ben Thanks a lot❤
Me too. And much louder tinnitus when I stopping listening to this. There are other tinnitus masking sound videos that work better for me. We're all different
I don't know if it'll solve it, but there was an almost instant change to the pitch of the tinnitus when the video got past the intro and into the sound therapy. As such, I start out mildly impressed with this. I'll keep coming back to finalise my opinion. Most intriguing.
I spent the last 15 days in Kauai and the big island. I had practically no issues there because of all the birds, crickets, frogs and ocean waves all night. The sunshine helps tinnitus as well. Now that I am state side again, I need this. Maybe its time to move.
We're deeply touched by your response. It means a lot to us to know that our sound therapy brings you relief and comfort. Thank you for your kind words, and we're here to support you on your journey.
This one masks mine the best. In case anybody cares. Although afterwards, all I hear is my tinnitus for about an hour until my mind just shuts it out to save my sanity.
I've had tinnitus for a week now. It has travelled from one ear to the other, faded and returned, and recently has been less intense. Listening to this for 5 seconds made it go away for the first time fully. This is saved to my watch later and will be used in future to silence the brain noise... bless the heck out of you.
That's wonderful to hear! We're thrilled that our sound therapy could provide you with relief. Remember, we're here for you whenever you need us. Take care!
Thank you Dr. Ben. I was able to sleep last night. The night before last one I could not sleep at all and had work in the morning. Stayed up the entire night cried out of helplessness because my tinnitus was so loud that it beat the sound of water flowing that I play in the background too. I felt like my brain was on fire and I cried alot. Last night however I did some painting before sleeping to put my mind into something else and basically meditate to some ASMR rain sound. Then when going to bed, I was looking for videos for sleep sound therapy on your channel and I came across this video and just played this close to my left ear as that’s the one that’s very severe these days because I have an active throat infection going on too coupled with cold and flu.. anyway I don’t even know when I passed out but I woke up with no tinnitus. I’ve concluded that my tinnitus is like my anxiety..it only comes back badly when I think about it when I’m not thinking about it, I don’t seem to notice it or get bothered by it.
I can't believe the amount of noise reduction in my right ear after listening to this for just a short while. I am going to try to make this part of my routine. This improved my life, literally. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
THANKS! I have high frequency tinnitus due to covid and listening to this both is an effective mask, and it reduces perceived volume of my tinnitus. It's great for sleep, as sleep actually triggers my tinnitus... it's really odd, but I wake up with less tinnitus as well.
i also somehow got tinnitus due to covid. and its high frequency. although after a few months i barely notice it anymore but sometimes it spikes in the evening. and this is the only thing that can mask it and after listening to it, my tinnitus goes away for a bit.
Holy Hannah. I’ve tried everything sensible and maybe a few things not so sensible. I’m 53, had tinnitus all my life. It’s loud, always on, always up. This noise - this is the first relief I’ve ever felt from it. All the tricks - nothing touches it. But this actually stinking works. Not sure what to do. Thanks for dropping 10 hours.
I like it, but I think the pattern being constant doesn't not trick the ear to focus is deep tuning and the autonomic ear response, I do have 30 lose in left ear, so perhaps this a factor. Your crickets change pitch and so the ear focus is triggered to tune into it as apposed to tune out the steady stream to background noise. Cricket sounds while playing a video game gave me first notice to the relief I never even knew about. This is amazing research.
thankU so very much for this‼️‼️‼️‼️finally I was able to get some sleep last night &woke up this morning without all of that annoying ringing in my ear. unfortunately the ringing has gotten worse over the years 😑 this really helped‼️thank God for this video &you as well for making this video 🫂🙏🏾🩵
I'm genuinely delighted to hear that the sound therapy video provided relief, allowing you to enjoy a more restful night's sleep without the persistent ringing. Wishing you continued peaceful nights! 💜
I've been listening to this soundtrack for about an hour or so, and even though the pitch and volume of my tinnitus haven't changed (it's 8/10 still), it feels less intrusive. If this helps me make my tinnitus more manageable, it would be a win-win situation. So, give it a try and see if it works for you.
I've accepted that tinnitus is my new normal and I'm not as distressed I can blot it out incidentally I got tinnitus after receiving the fire covid jabs
@@hilarybromley3064 That must of been horrible. I'm not jabbed however I was on Nurtec (Didn't know it was distributed by Pfizer) shorty after I developed tinnitus with moderate hearing lost. I did my research and some people actually report it. I accepted that tinnitus is apart of me. Same way I accepted having seizures (which is now not so much anymore). I accepted I have double vision/balance disorder.
This helps a LOT and doesn't annoy me like other maskers. I think the slight variance in pitch is great because with others maskers I get used to the consistent sound and end up hearing the ringing over it. This is more like hearing distant bugs in nature or something. Thank you thank you thank you!
I like this. Somewhere between rain and ocean waves without variable volumes. Not noticing decrease in pulsatile tinnitus, except maybe a little smoother and subtler. High pitch tinnitus is harder to detect.
I have had tinnitus for years but it became unbearable when I was prescribed Meloxicam for back pain. I did not get the connection until I watched a video about how painkillers can cause tinnitus. This sound video is feeling so nice to my ears right now! Thank you!
