Welcome to MD! Baltimore is a creative, fun and exciting place to live. My daughter lives there with her family and they love it. I have so much fun when I leave Southern MD and journey up to Baltimore. I love when you post a video. It is nice to see what you are working on. You yarn tips are fantastic!

You should try doing ribbing at the bottom as well. Makes slipper socks warmer and thicker :) I modified Marie Wallin's Lapwing into a raglan top down, in the round. it's exiting to create and modify patterns!

Hi! Watched some of your podcasts thru The Woolly Thistle, which I found very informative! Then I see you have many more podcasts. I too, am currently making 2strands of fingering wt (=DK) socks. Chuckled because I’m trying to find the “sweet” spot ... needle, to stitches, to fit, etc! TWT has their Sock KAL, so I’m working on US3, fingering minis, ribbed (ala Thicksgiving), while figuring out what fits best. Plan on watching your other vids-your sweaters are Gorgeous, and i enjoy listening to your thoughts & processes about your Knitting Journey! Thanks!

That was super interesting. I already really like DK socks but I hadn’t thought of marled self-striping. I will try that in the future and I like the ribbing. They look cozy.

The ribbed ones are so well fitting! They really stay up well around the leg and are super comfortable.

Great episode once again. Very informative cause I just started my first pair of DK socks. Yours are beautiful. I love that you like living with your parents. I hope my kids feel the same way and have always told them they are always invited to live at home if needed :). Looking forward to your next video

Love your videos and really look forward to seeing them. I love the colorwork you do and I think you just talked me into dk socks. I do have a hard time hearing part of what you say. I am older and may not hear as well as I did,but I think you start a sentence loudly enough,but then drop off toward the end. But it definitely could be partly me.

OK, so this is out of left field I know. But I just got recommended your channel and have been watching some old episodes. I have to chime in and solve the mystery of the colorway name. "Say hello to my little friend" is a line from Scarface. During some drug-lord battle, Al Pacino pulls up a machine gun and shouts "Say hello to my little friend" as he sprays his enemies. Then, Jim Carrey says the line in Ace Ventura Pet Dective. I think he was holding up a skunk or something. Anyway, I wanted to let you know the story behind that colorway name. Now off to watch more old episodes. (I'm a new colorwork knitter, so that's probably why I finally got your channel showing up in my algorithm.)

Ah! I knew it was from a movie, and actually that it had to do with a gun, I just didn't know why it was relevant to the colorway name. But thank you for helping to solve the mystery!

Yeah I realized after writing that - it doesn't at all explain why that colorway has that name. 🤦‍♀
