Tips for applying RaggTopp Fabric Protectant

Had a detailer do a spotty job on my convertible top ,he applied Gtechnig Smart Fabric on to it . He didn’t rub it in and the car became spotty from the waterproofing, actually I can see where he sprayed through out the top He wanted to try to improve it I said no I would do it Question/ how long must I wait to redo what he did? And apply the fabric cleaner and then the waterproofing Raggtopp evenly throughout the top Also will the spots from the chemical from gtechnig disappear when I redo this, thanks

What is the UV protection rating for Raggtopp? So many companies say their fabric protectant has UV protection but there's no scale to actually see and understand which formula has the best UV protection. Besides trial and error is there anyway for companies to rate their UV protection like SPF for skin? It's so easy for a company to claim we have good UV protection.

So why didnt you do the top first less masking?

What are those covers you are using? I can’t find them.

This is over complicating a very simple process. I applied it with a foam brush and was able to skip masking the car, and save the expense of a sprayer. I did two coats and renew every six months.

Do i need to tape off and protect the rest of my car from the treatment??

Is it advisable to apply the protectant under the sun or shade? Does it matter?

I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 with black top that has been washed in carwashes and has a coating of the wax they use on the top, how do i remove that first?Linda S
