I love the way you take us through your thought process and suggest ways for overcoming less-than-ideal conditions, such as shadows. I have taken 3 of your courses; watching this video made me realize how much I'd forgotten! Time for a refresh! Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words, Pamela! Since you have lifetime access to the lessons, you are welcome to revisit the course as a refresher. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, our team will be happy to assist you!

This video is so helpful for me. Since having done your course, I love going back to listen to your advise Emil and it is stunning. At the moment it is the time of roses, I just am fascinated of them. Their beauty is unique. I had forgotten, to do the trick with the square and the burst mode. Thank you for reminding me in this video. I love my iPhotophotos and the Academy, where I learnt so many things. Thank you Emil.

One of my very favorite tutorials as I love flower photos. Many great tips that I have incorporated from the entire course. I have come back to this video several times. My only other comment concerns bokeh. With some of my flower photos I like to keep more of a distance because the background is so beautiful, but it does likely take away from the focal point which is the flower. i would like to play more with aspect ration - is 4:3 the norm? I forgot. Square here was very nice. I do use my body to block the harsh sun, and trees if available. Also your comment about flowers being "3 dimensional" is critical to keep in mind with flower photography...GREAT job!
Hi Ray, We appreciate your support! Glad that you found this video helpful! :) You are welcome to try different aspect rations and see which one works best for you. Keep in mind that you can recover the cropped information as long as the image remains in your device. In that case, there's no risk to try other aspect ratios.
@@iPhone_Photography_School Thanks Emil and colleagues! I will be playing around with the aspect ratios to learn what they do / look like. Much appreciated!

I will be purchasing my first i-phone shortly. I am going for an i-phone 13 Pro Max ( refurbished ), in the UK about £ 700, about $ 885 US. . I will be 80 years of age in a few months time. It will be really useful to follow tremendous videos like this one. One question. I can see why you do a continuous shoot to hit on really sharp photos. However if you do this too often surely you will wear out the shutter in no time at all? .

@@iPhone_Photography_School Thanks for replying.. I mean, you took the example of taking a photo of someone using the "panorama" mode on the iPhone camera..

super tuto ! how do you make burst mode on iphone 12pro max ? i continuously press the shutter button but it creates a video. I don't have the red circle above the incrementing number
yes ! it works but too sensitive and sometimes I still make videos instead. In settings I have seen a way to configure volume+ button to burst mode but it shakes the camera too much when we press this button as for standad photo.
If you want close up shots, the macro lens would be perfect! If you're interested in learning more tips and tricks to fully master your iPhone photography, our iPhone Photo Academy course is perfect for you! Here’s the link to join: iphone.to/ipa-j
