“And a brother’s final stand” GOSH THIS LINE WAS PERFECT-

I love how the line "I see a man who gets to make it home alive, but it's no longer you" works so well after the finale. We can take the term "man" as simply refering to a human, clearly referencing Luz getting home. It also implies that if Phillip hadn't done all those foul actions, he would've been in Luz' place. Also the line "I see the sacrifice of man" works so well too because Phillip ended up completely sacrificing his humanity, both phisically and mentally.

I love the usage of the song here, especially during Caleb's final moments, almost seeming to have the Collector taunt about how Philip destroyed his humanity with his murder

god this song fits PERFECTLY and the entire animatic is spectacular???? the collector's silly little gestures and expressions are on point, the way the torch flame at 0:44 shows older philip is a brilliant concept and so well-executed, and the whole caleb sequence is making me fucking tremble!!!! fantastic fantastic work!!

I’ve watched this like 6 times now. It really is amazing! I love Collector’s little finger wiggling as he points at Philip, and the blue of Philip’s eyes that stands out so much against all the reds in the background. I love Philip’s face appearing in the torch flame that young Belos is holding, and even though it makes me sad, the scene with Caleb on his deathbed is sooo good. He doesn’t even look angry or disappointed in his brother, just surprised and sad :(. Also that last shot of Belos is absolutely haunting. Ridiculously cool!

Thank you for not spoiling the latest episode I was afraid of that when I first clicked on this video Also I realized the sacrifice of man could be referring to Belos sacrificing his humanity to keep living to see The Day of Unity rather than his personal sacrifice Which goes with it’s no longer you Since he lost any connection to his human form

I didn't know why I recognized the voice and It just clicked it's cuz my sister has recently found Epic and has been flooding me with the songs. Amazing choice, this eerie melodic song in tandem with this stunning animatic (especially 0:37 that was just *chef's kiss*) brings new depth and tragedy, beautiful work!

Now I need Fight Little Wolf with the Phillip versus Caleb battle, going into the Possessed Hunter sequence. I think the line about 'running out of bones to break' would work so well with the Grimwalker concept.

holy shit this is so good hhhhhh like the entire scene when caleb was dying like phillip HUGGED HIM after he STABBED HIM? like the picture from hollow mind when caleb was hugging phillip but the other way around. and even then caleb smiled at him bc he still loved his brother and started crying bc it ended like this until he dies like hhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaguh! baby phillip on a witch hunt with the flame dancing across the screen? and in the flames you can see what he's become as an adult? how despite everything he never grew from that little boy dependent on his brother who wanted to go on a witch hunt bc that's what he was taught to do? and the collector seems so much more menacing than his portrayal in the show like! he's taunting belos like he's in a position of power over him. i like what they did with him in the show where he's been manipulated by belos but i love the idea that at the start he was like. this mysterious figure that belos was afraid of. anyway the animation is also really smooth im gonna tattoo this to my brain now

Every now and then I come across an animatic that's so well done, there's no one thing I can point out. The song is gorgeous, the style is gorgeous, each frame leaves me with chills

Wow, that was beautiful! No! its was amazing! really could feel it you know? GOD this is what the show needs to be about something like this. Something that hits in a place we can't touch a place we cant use words to define. The show has plenty of potential to do this I've seen it! But with the way media entertainment is like now and the way company's like Disney hold them selves...its almost impossible to experience something like this on the air. But I'm glad there are still people with passion and creativity to take things (like owl house for example) and not only see it for what it can be; but also mold it into that vision.

This frame at 0:45 is scary cause the idea of being tied up to a pole begging for mercy and you see this child wearing a mask holding a fire coming near you and you try to tell him that what’s going on is wrong and he just throws the fire at the pole burning you alive all the while he watches, his mask hiding any emotions makes him look less human not being able to see what he feels and as he stares at you all you can do is scream in pain while this masked child looks at you almost as if he lacks sympathy

Holy smokes, you maker of this video are very, very talented and skilled! The lovely use of colors and certain tones was beautifully put together, and awesome to watch. The song is also fitting with these two brothers, their gruesome story and the dynamic between Philip and the Collector. It all encompasses and utilizes the the darker undertones, while still making for a gorgeous way to tell a story.
