Good review Tyler.. I have just finished putting mine together. I have the tall too.. I’m excited. I enjoyed your coverage on the square washers… this will be the route I take! Thank you for that!
I actually decided to buy a second one to set across the room from it so i can do chest flies and other stuff where you need 2 cables. Cheaper than paying 2k for a cable trainer.
That room is bad ass. I advise you get an X3 short squat stand. You can do all your compound movements with it an your accessory work on your pulley. Cheers.
I had the valor crossover but sold it because of our move. I kind of miss it. I might buy this or the valor version. This would be a good option for my new gym. One thing I’ll definitely do is get some better pulleys.
I was actually considering that. I don't see why you couldn't. My room is 9 foot 8 inches wall to wall, and It looks like it will work for me but they'd be too close to do some things like the bicep curl where you pull them both toward your ears. Idk what that exercise is called. Never use it though. For cable flies definitely will work. I'd suggest at least have 10 feet wall to wall for using 2 of these. Any closer and it's gonna suck. As for how far they pull out, I'm not sure. I do overhead tricep extensions with the rope and that pulls it out pretty far. I'd say at least 2-3 feet
I can't say that I've ever heard that before. But I would think that the same logic would apply to any cable Tower of this sort. Usually what I do is sit on the ground and pull down. The only difference is you have to do lower weight with more reps. Some people put a 45lb plate on their legs to allow them to pull more weight. Really the only awkwardness comes from not having the padded thigh support that you find at commercial gym lay pulldowns. I don't care because I can do all my vertical pulls by doing sets of pullups and chinups instead. Rows, t bar rows, deadlifts, and straight arm pulldowns do plenty enough work on the back. Lat pulldowns are nice to do but in the home gym life, real estate is at a premium and I can't justify having one
Maybe i missed it but a big problem with the pulleys wearing out or not pulling smoothly are the bolts. The pulley bolts are threaded when they should be smooth where the pulleys ride! A flaw by Titan!
@@leonflores2933 I got them on eBay. They were about 10 or 11 bucks a pulley? Can't remember. But the other dude on RU-vid that reviews this cable tower has the link in his description. Shouldn't be too hard to find
Worse review of anything I ever watched . This guy has no clue what he is talking about . Rather stab my eyes out then listen to this guys voice for another second
