Ugggg...I have a mixed set of 2019 t200 and t100s..my favorite set ever and have been trying to convince myself the new ones won't be any different and then Titleist does this!! Ive. ordered the new 5,6,7.. T200...wont see them till September...Not sure if it's worth it to replace the t100s 8,9,pw.....
Got fitted last week in Toronto Canada and the T100 is absolutely stunning like looking down at the MB ..... One problem for me.... I was looking forward to the black T100 head and they are not available yet. Disappointed....but performance, look and sound was best I've ever hit.
I purchased my first fitted set this year, titleist T300 series. Lovely feel and the ball travels really well and it has made my golfing experience more pleasurable , increasing my confidence Great review
Great work from the guys at Titleist with this new generation of T Irons👍 They now have an Iron for just about every Golfer. The original T300 was frankly hideous, but this time around it's a vast improvement.
Had Titleist irons in the bag for years but changed to Srixon this year and am very happy with them. Saying that you can't go wrong with Titleist irons, class golf clubs!⛳🏌️👌🏼
Excellent review of the new Titleist T lineups. In May 2021 I was custom fit for the previous 2019 version of the T 200s. And like you mentioned in this video what happens on the off-center hits is a LOUD clacking annoying sound. I was told by a rep at GolfTec that it’s because there is no polymer or sound deadening material in the hollow heads and it makes perfect sense. These irons are ultra forgiving so I deal with the weird sound/feeling on an off-center hits I think eventually I will be looking towards the Mizuno JPX 921 forged irons.
Thanks for another great review Michael, all these new Titleist irons look awesome and I can't wait to get to test them, my initial thoughts would be for the T100S, either 3-PW or maybe 4-PW with a T200 2 iron because I play most of my golf on links courses, I would also like to see pictures of the T100S gap wedge.
Just had a second look at this great video. Since my first look I’ve been fitted with T100 P-5i and U•505 4i. Expecting delivery in four weeks. Can’t wait!
I would love to hit the t200 and even the t300. I’ve always needed 5 to 10 yards w my irons so I’m definitely excited to try these out. Don’t know if I could afford them yet but thanks so much for the demo. Cheers
Great video as always. Thanks. I have always been a Mizuno iron man but i feel Srixon and now Titleist have overtaken them with great looking blades. Looking forward to testing these. I will be ready to buy soon !
excellent review. Haven't found anyone on YT that doesn't like them. Love the looks of these. Hope to replace old x16s this year and T200 will be on the list to test vs 921, ZX5, Apex and 790s.
I noticed the same with the T300-- shocking number of nooks and crannies under the cavity for junk to fill. And also going to be a pain to dry the clubs after washing them. Guess the OCD golfers will have to get the T200. Don't mind at all. 😎
Hi Michael !! Great review!! Just curious. How would you describe the forgiveness and spin rates of T200 vs P790 and T100S vs P770? I assume the P790 and P770 are more forgiving. Thanks!
im happy that the look of the t200 is much better now but man those t300 are ugly looking , i am personally still in love with the 719 ap2, i wonder if having a stronger loft like the t100s would be helpfull to my game
I don't really understand why they make the T100 so close to the CB in terms of look and size. I feel there's a large gap now between T100 and T200. The 100 should be slightly larger in head size in my opinion.
@@seanpeacock5595 I haven't seen any reviews on the new T100 vs 620 CB yet. For me they are pretty much the same. Same look now apparently, same feel, same performance. T100 is one degree stronger and has more tungsten. Why would anyone buy CB now when the new T100 is identical?
Surprised by the distances. The T100 averaged 162 yards, then the S was 10 yards longer. Must be something else contributing to that than just the 2* loft difference. That made the S almost as long as the T200 and T300. I would never play the T300 myself. The S seems the winner for me - looks, spin, distance.
You mentioned making a combo of t100 and t100s….why would you ever do that. I can understand making a combo of t200 and t100s but it would make no sense to combo the t100 sets.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf Thanks. Was curious as other testers with fast swings are also using their normal shafts. like Project X 7.0 or TT Dynamic Gold X7, while one major retailer's master fitter used stock shafts and moderate club speed (82mph) with the 7-iron for the benefit of average mid handicap players.
The clubs are great but their customer service really set me off. They didn’t even give me the option for these, and I ordered 6 weeks ago. Kind of ridiculous. Glad I got the last of the batch of the og’s, but disappointed I wasn’t offered the new ones.
To be fair no brand will offer you the new model when there's 12 weeks to go before a new model releases. These new irons aren't available to retail until end of August.
@@MichaelNewtonGolf I’d at least have liked to known “hey, we’re 12 weeks out from a new model, would you like to wait?” $2,000 usd for a 2 year old model is a steep price.
@@Ch4MMPBoi To be fair, they release irons on a very consistent schedule. Every 2 years, they tour seed them in the summer and release in late summer/early fall
Overrated and over priced... $1,630 USD for 3-PW... w/ PX 6.0... and MCC's... absurd. Minimum $100 more expensive than other manufacturers... and the snobs at Titleist don't offer any First Responder or military discount... like TM and Callaway do. No thanks.
Mercedes cost a lot, don't hear customers complain about them. They also don't offer discounts. They can price wherever they want. Just don't buy them. And I'm not even close to a Titleist guy. Other than the 915 fairway woods I played for 4 years, I haven't played any of their stuff since 2003 and that was a Vokey wedge and an overhyped Scotty.
dont buy them then. Material costs have increased almost 45% on average in the past year. Just wait for the others to raise prices as well - Ping's i59 is coming out at $1799 4-PW.
