Good looking out on this vid. I bought TL brembo's for my RSX but I wrecked it. Now they're just sitting here, so now I can throw them in in my EG coupe.
buenas una duda. usa la configuracion del crv para bojer el buje de 36 para swap, pero te sirve si haces un separador para dicho buje sin poner el de rsx. ?¿ o hace falta el buje del rsx
Hey bro just to clarify. You are using RD1 arms? with RSX hubs? and other than the TL Type S Calipers, what other trims can we get the same calipers? Cheers bro!
what master cylinder would you use for this set-up? Also my set-up will have integra trailing arms with rsx calipers in the rear. I hope your still around. Thanks bro learned alot from this vid.
Hello how much mm is the rotor? I plan to install 225 tires and an 280mm rotor. Is that enough for beginning amateur racing on small tracks? What would you pick on a really really low budged? And can you recommend some light and cheap racing tires, rims and brakes? Best greets,Max
I’m still pretty new myself but I believe your stock brakes will do fine but it always nice to have more stopping if you have more power. For tires I ran some federal rsrr and they were good to me for only 330 all 4
Hey man I wish you would make a video cuz I'm trying to put them on my 4 lug set up I just need to know the TL Type-S will bolt right up to the 4 lug knuckle or do I need to drill the holes???
Hey what size axles are u using ? Would it be 36mm? For the k swap. I’m between a 32 and a 36mm swap for the axles. I currently have the 99-00 Si spindle and would like to swap to crv, would I need the 36mm axle?
anh2thien for the rear I’m not to sure.. I went with the crv set because I sold my 32mm ctr knuckles and needed 36mm, but to answer your question better, you can use rsx base rear hubs ( using integra trailing arms) rsx rotor, ep3 calipers, I’m not 100 but this was my plan
For rear used any integra 4 lug trailer arm and then go to your local autozone or oreilys pepboys and ask for 99-00 integra type r rear hubs rear caliper and bracket and rotor and swap everything out
Archie Brown you won’t be using the tl brake lines, you’ll remove that and use yours that is from your car. So like if you have a integra you’ll use the integra brake lines
Some ppl I know did it with Mini Cooper rotors but I feel those are way to small for these 4piston, I would get the tl rotors and redrill them and use lug washer to make it work
Yea same question .. and another question ,I have itr spindle do I just add the mini copper rotor and bolt up Tl calipers after I enlarge the bolt holes?,
I don't know if you notice but, you said you use a 5mm spacer and you added it to your part list. but when you click on it, it takes you to a 3mm spacer on Amazon. now, the question is did you use a 3 mm or a 5 mm, and which one? I
siciliansoccer55 04-08 Tl type s but even some non type s have them as well. 02-06 rsx type s there all the same. But again you’ll need this only for the crv to swap out the crv hub out
Kevin Escobar if the tl rotor fit over the 36mm itr hub then you’ll be fine. I had to swap mine because of that little step on the hub. And yes you’ll still need the 5mm spacer to center the rotor with the caliper
Hey Kevin, did you ever find out whether you need to change out the JDM ITR 36mm hub to an RSX hub? I currently have the jdm 36mm 5 lug conversion and wanna do the brake swap and not have to change the hub if i dont need to.
That ball joint was shot, hope you replaced it and also the stud bolts looks to short now and I don't think your rim will bolt on properly. Other than that it's ok
Protip: you should wear gloves. Save you time from having to wash your hands all the time. Source: My dad had never worn gloves so grease stayed on his hands. Then, obviously, he did.
