Thing is, I 100% see this happening : someone arrives and convinces Taboritsky that he is Alexei, he believes him (didn't take his med) and then he just willingly steps down and let's the guy assume control whilst he is just there in the background as his most trusted advisor that does everything in his power to help the new Tsar. This would be in character for him
In this timeline the ghost of Alexi arrives early and has Tarbosky become a discount Batov, making a Holy Russian Empire safe and prosperous for all those that declare their love and service for the Alexi's Double Headed Eagle. On December 31st, 1971, just as the clock strikes Midnight and the new year, The blessed Regent along side Alexi's unseen ghost declare the Hold Russian Empire, christened by smashing a clock onto the gallows to signify Russia's end of the dark days of Warlords and Burgundian politics.

HRE armies arrived in Siberia only to see united legions of Sablin, Batov and Men standing side by side, ready to confront them. The last war for Russian reunification was so bloody that even Mad Regent realised: should it continue any further and all of them will drown in blood. An unlikely truce was called and four leaders met in Tyumen to talk about reaching what they have all wanted. Peace. Their discussion lasted for hours without break yet no sensible decision was achieved this day. However, all sides agreed to continue them the next morning. Were it the hardships of his own regime, the horrors of war he saw on the way here, or the heated discussion that wounded the old vulture so deep, we won't ever know. That night Taboritsky had suffered a stroke and had it not been for timely help, he would've passed away. After several grim days, filled with tension and suspicions and promises of carnage, Sergei has recovered. Partially, at least. For it seemed that the dark flame that consumed this living cadaver's mind was extinguished. Appearing in his dream, blessed Alexei had spoken. Dutiful Regent heeded the words of his Monarch. They were similar to those he heard from the leaders of Siberia, but refused to listen to back then. Now that his warped psyche put them into Tsarevitch's mouth, he had none other way but to do what must be done. In the next couple of years, Russia was reunified by a collective of men that decided its fate in Tyumen. Burgundian System, recently launched in western Russia, was dismantled, its supporters locked away, Empire had become an Authoritarian Democratic state, at least on paper. The stroke has not taken away Regent's prejudices even if his hate became milder. Alexander Men was the head of the Church, Batov was a minister of defence, who occasionally "helped" with the decisions in other spheres when Regent himself couldn't make a choice and Sablin became a minister of economy. The peace, however, will not last forever. Remaining days of Taboritsky's life are numbered, Men seems to be too preoccupied with the Church of his own making, Batov is not young man himself. And Sablin even back then was left unsatisfied with the Tymen's treaty, accepting it only because the other option was much worse. In total secret he is planning a scheme that would lead to the glorious revolution of workers and peasants and his appointment as a Head of State. The clock is ticking, time marches on and nothing is certain.
Tabby is already kinda like Heydrichs redemption thing, which isnt even a redemption. Tabby realizes he was an idiot and kills him, just like Heydrich.
We have remained calm and passed the trials. Our chosen Regent has endured against all odds. Our great and noble people of Russia live. The Holy Russian Empire has endured long enough. But there will still be much to be done.
By the time he's unified Russia, Taboritsky has still killed about thirty million people, I don't see how him suddenly coming to his senses changes the fact that most of the cities are rubble, a third of the country is dead, and much of the best agricultural land is poisoned forever.

It was nice, but it was too sweet to be believable. I'd prefer a simpler and more realistic kind - where Tabby is similar to his OTL self, he is a Nazi and a vicious anti-Semite, but not Russia-destroying madman, and his rule is somewhere between Militarist Chita and Rodzayevsky - bad, but endurable and survivable.

i think the flag would be more appealing because the flag looks basically a flag for some radical party in Russia so probably something similar to the Russian Empire.
@@shturm602 HRE (in TNO) and the Pamyat Society (in OTL) both used the swastika on their flag because they were fascist, so this fact is irrelevant here
In all honesty Taboritsky could have been the best leader with all that power and his charisma. I would love a submod or secret path where he isn't burgundian system and considers Alexei the "Eternal Emperor" or something
Since the second part of the event is a Soviet melody, I imagine something like Taboritsky smashing the clock at the wall and he’s like: - Hell yeah it time for communism
Но мне всё же интересно, а как "Таборецкий с бодуна" будет очищать территории Империи от химического загрязнения, вызванное химическим оружием, которое он сам использовал в тщетных попытках уничтожить "иудо-большевиков" и несогласных? Но всё же такой конец действительно хороший, хоть я и ярый противник монархии.
