I’m a Christian and believe in work and not being lazy. But, sometimes, as in my case, people struggle with health issues. I live alone and keep my house tidy. But, I feel guilty that there is so much more that I want to do. But, right now, my health prevents me from doing it. I pray that God understands and will heal me so I can work and serve Him more and better. 🙏🏻
Completely understand! Work isn't measured to God as much as our hearts and motives are:) He sees what is our best even if other don't see it... I have an autoimmune system disease, fibromyalgia, alpha-gal syndrome... I have two Littles and am expecting a rainbow baby the end of September... my best right now maybe doesn't measure up to someone else's best, but it is my best and that's what God sees... God has giving me such a good husband that sees my best as well and helps me so often when he gets off work! My little girls 5 and 4 years old, are a huge help as well. Just this morning my five-year-old was vacuuming for me cuz she said she saw the floor was getting messy and she wanted to help me :-) they're often trying to wash dishes or put clothes away for me, telling me that I don't feel very well so they will help me... I'm very blessed! I feel guilty often myself, but I'm so thankful that my family does see my best and it relieves me of some of the guilt... ❤
I have severe health issues. I do my best, but just not able to keep my house perfect. Even my husband understands. I was a homemaker and worked outside the home full time. I get to be a Momma, wife, and Grandma. Most of all, I get to be a daughter of the King of Kings!
This is somthing God has shown me.Just be thankful in all things.I had to cook for siblings when I was very young, cooked all my life even my jobs mostly. Ive said I hate cooking. But I thought. God I thank you that Ican and have food to do so.God is absolutely good.Ive said I hate going to the grocery store, but instead now. Im thankful for my car my health and money and freedom to do so.we need to be thankful. So thank you young lady. God bless you richly

I am going to try harder to complain less and be more grateful for what I do have ! I always felt like being at home made me a failure. I thought and dreamed of being a successful business person. I have achieved that and am blessed to work from home. But always feel like I'm not doing enough. Like shouldn't I be doing more? But I am learning hat homemaking and homeschooling are the things that God wants me to do and I can find peace and rest in that. Please keep the videos coming! :)

I appreciate your boldness in sharing gods word! This reminds me of a video I watched where a man said "your responsibility is your privilege". That really sunk in for me, god has given me these little lives as blessings and I am so happy and thankful he did. I have the privilege of watching over them for him.
You r so right! We r blessed with each day and given so many things to be thankful for! Being charged with the responsibility of being homemaker and a mother is such an honor and should be a way to show glory to God for all he has given us. It gets so easy to get overwhelmed, run down and just tired of walking the walk at times. It is by keeping our mindset and heart on the right path that will keep us strong. I love this "I get too". I also heard a phrase this week that says instead of saying "I am worried about something " replace it with "I am not trusting trusting God" with whatever the worry is.

Some of the kids expanded on that idea to make doing their French homework a nice little event, accompanied by music, a favorite drink, maybe a little snack. They had already been indoctrinated into the French way of not doing anything unless the pleasure outweighs the drudgery!

I’m always fed by your walk with the Lord. It’s interesting how some believers use the scripture as a navigating sword.. as you communicate in all your videos. While others use the verses as knowledge or memory verses rather than a weapon of warfare. I am being reminded by you that being a warrior, rightly using my sword, is what I GET TO do!!! Do you think it’s ok to have times to be lazy? When my kids were babies sometimes I was sick and just had enough energy to be awake with them, change diapers and make meals for them, but now they are older and I appreciate being a stay at home mom. Right now it’s summer break and I’m fully enjoying not homeschooling. I have been living like we are busy as a family for 2 days we rest for a day busy for 2 days rest for a day. Right now being the focus of family time and getting out of the house while I am also recovering from anxiety and panic attacks and learning to live out of fear again… my husband is away and I’m trying to find joy in the alone time that God has set before me. I’m really taking advantage of resting from being a housewife. I enjoy being a housewife but sometimes the stress of making sure the laundry is done and the house is clean Dinner is ready… I’ve been releasing the stress of it and taking these days at a slower pace. Today I woke up heavy in the discomfort of my cycle though. I am laying in bed with a heating pad trying not to throw up. Now I’m wondering if that’s ok? If God is dissapointed in me right now with resting today, and taking time to relax from housework duties. I’m not letting the house get dirty… I’m just not keeping to my normal daily set of chores.
Being sick is not being lazy. Resting is also not laziness. Only you and God can determine if you’re actually purposefully avoiding your duties in a lazy way

I am really loving the new direction of your channel, I get to be a homemaker also but I realized I've been taking that for granted. I am supposed to go back to work in about 9 months when my youngest turns 18. I don't really want to, I want to continue to be a full-time homemaker. I am praying that God arranges our finances to be able to do that. I am going to start be more attentive to my home and learn to love every minute of it. Thank you for giving me motivation. P. S. I grew up roman catholic, we only went to church on holidays. I am very lucky to have the change to stay home with my two little kids. I would like to start going to church but not sure if my husband will go with me. Does anyone have suggested books to listen to on audible and any podcast? I am very interested in learning again but more specifically the role of women. I want to be a better mom and wife. Thank you in advance.
