When this came out I was just a kid so I didn't understand what the song was about at the time all I knew was it made my head bop. Then when I replayed it during my teen years I now knew this song is everything we all want, a smooth day with no negativity. Plus Cube was still young so he still repped the gangsta mentality to the fullest but even to this day as a dad and a movie star he can still make gangsta hits. And no need to apologize for singing that just means you are feelin' the song.
It's a great movie for Dr. Dre that is. They intentionally left out Eazy E's diss track that annihilated and embarrassed Dre. And the overall portrayal of the two is nothing but Dre propaganda. Dre was a studio gangsta and even worse he was not hardened like he portrayed himself in his music.
