@ZAYDAY Im a 50 cent groupie. Ive consumed every bit of info about him. 9 shots were released from the gun. 3 of the bullets hit. He mentions it in an interview and shows. Of course its better story to say 9. Sounds more gangster
A lot of rappers say they're the best. A lot of times it's just cause they wanna say some cool shit and other times it's because they are actually one of the best. Rap is almost like a sport as in its competitive and people want to be better than others.
You guys definitely have to look up 50 Cent "In da Club" it's his most known song by people outside of rap and is probably the song that got him a bigger fan base outside of rap, literally everyone and their momma listened to it when it came on the radio just because the begging of the song and the hook/chorus. To put that song in perspective, it has almost one billion views compared to many men which isn't really a song that people outside of rap listen to and many men isn't really a song people ride around listening to all day, many men has views because of him being shot and making a song about the story of it 50 Cent is more so a rapper that talks about guns and stuff on most of his old stuff However he is similar to Eminem in the way that he has a bunch of hit songs that don't revolve around guns and stuff that people who don't like rap listen to "In da Club" is def his most iconic song and his most well known song Even my mom listened to it in the car before and my mom wasn't with all that gangsta stuff 😂 You can find the clean version on RU-vid with a music video it has almost a billion views But the clean version has a crappier verse because they bleep and change the words so he isn't actually saying what he says on the dirty version I'm surprised nobody recommended that song as it is the song he is most known for by both people outside and inside of rap 50 Cent is like Eminem in the way they both have a million hit songs But both Eminem and 50 Cent were pretty loyal and close in music and did songs together "You don't know" is a song where 50 Cent and Eminem both have their rap group rapping And that was also a big iconic song because they both had their rap groups rapping together and there is a music video for it But if you guys ever do 50 Cent again you definitely have to do In da Club because it's similar to lose yourself by Eminem meaning everyone and their momma knows of it or herd it before Only a few people didn't hear it if they didn't listen to rap much It has like a billion views the only problem is the music video bleeeps and changes the word which makes the verse not as catchy but the chorus and hook is mostly the same The clean version has a video so might entertain you more but the dirty version is better And because you guys react to Eminem and just made a 50 Cent reaction you should probably look at "You don't know" as it has both Eminem and 50 Cent in it but not only that both of their rap groups are in it too which makes it different as well as it having a music video, again the dirty version is better so the music video changes all the bad words or bleeeps them out But the video is entertaining People keep recommending patiently waiting because 50 Cent and Eminem are both on it But "you don't know" has both of Thier rap groups with them and a music video Those two are the most iconic in my opinion, he has a bunch of hit songs but those are more so which ones you like more In terms of iconic songs "In da Club" and "you don't know" was iconic compared to other songs when it came out
Not trying to be rude or anything but how can this be underrated. When it's got millions of veiws and downloads. I think people use this word in the wrong way.
I know this channel is not active anymore but I just wanted to say I recently came across your channel and love your videos. Oh, and Jill is absolutely gorgeous!!😍
you'll see a lot of rappers talking about being the greatest because of the rap context... they're always competing with each other, it's important to undertand this, otherwise will seem like it's corny to say "i'm the greatest" in a song
And stabbed multiple times, jumped, and continued to beef with ja rule who orchestrated said incidents and continued to go on and win that beef. 50 is a whole legend.
..."Death gotta be easy cause life is hard, it will leave physically mentally and emotionally scarred" one of the hard verses. This song is in hip hop scripture no denying it
People forget what a phenomenon 50 cent was when he debuted. This was the age of rap where club bangers and romantic duets with R&B singers ruled the charts. And here comes this guy with dark dangerous music. He set the rap world on fire.
Some would say the real best rappers don't say that. Jay, Nas, Em, pretty famous for really not saying that stuff. They let their raps do the talking. Occasionally they might throw around lyrics like that, but pretty rarely.
50 was feuding with the notorious drug syndicate Supreme Team, due to some altercations with one of their artists' Ja Rule. 50 ended up shot 9 times and was basically blackballed out of the music industry after that. Until Eminem and Dr.Dre signed him and rest is history.
Reflecting back on the time he was shot 9 times , to quote 50 cent when he was asked do you know who shot you in an interview " i know who shot me but he was killed 3 weeks later " so hes just telling his story in this song
@21stcenturyenigma Don't know about that. I seen one interview about that only. Didn't mention name there. I'm not much of a 50 cent fan so never bothered to look up details.
MF'S PUT A BOUNTY ON MY HEAD, GET YOUR REFUND MF I AIN'T DEAD. THAT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LINES. I CLEANED IT UP A BIT. LOL. AND YES THAT IS TINY, AKA DEEBO IN THE VIDEO. I THINK YOUR DAD SHOULD READ THE LYRICS. IT WAS SO FUNNY WHEN HE SAID, "I DON'T THINK IT'S BEEN ESTABLISHED YET TO THE REASON WHY THEY WANT TO KILL HIM". LOL. ALSO THE LINE WHERE HE SAYS "IN THE BIBLE IT SAYS WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, OMO SHOT ME 3 WEEKS LATER HE GOT SHOT DOWN. NOW IT'S CLEAR THAT I'M HERE FOR A REAL REASON, CUZ HE GOT HIT LIKE I GOT HIT BUT HE AIN'T F&&&ING BREATHING....#MANYMEN
50 has a unique voice in rap, im headbanger as well listening to bunch of mostly old school rap Few suggestion which you will not see haha Me And That Man - My church is black (Negral) Psych Ward - Altered beast Gravediggaz - Dangerous mindz (has video clip) Immortal Technique - Industrial revolution Aesop Rock - No regrets Insane Poetry - Diary of a killa King Gordy ft Bizzare - Justin Bieber (has video clip) 50 Cent - When it rains it pours DMX - X is coming
The Search by NF plz! hes a genius young rapper from Michigan like Eminem. The lyrics, the sounds and visual of all his music video are unique. Plz react to any is his song.. im pretty sure you will both love him. thanks!
@@kwill231 Yeah but not to brand new listeners. That's like recommending Motley Crue to a brand new rock listener. You don't recommend some fad hair-band shit that eventually played out. You start with the classics; The Beatles, The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, etc. 50 might not even make the top 50 all time greatest rappers. Where's Kanye, JayZ, KrsOne, Outkast, Wu, Nas, Rakim, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Mos Def, Pac???
Nick J 50 was a fad my g, stop playing 50 had one of the greatest to do it , and 50 not in yo top 50 that’s subjective G but I bet you can’t name 50 rappers w a better discography/career/skill than 50 tho
After looking through your upload history to see what you've checked out so far - here are a few suggestions that serve as good introductions to the various rabbit holes you could choose to explore: (But first, since this is a 50-Cent reaction, after all) A Baltimore Love Thing is a good one by 50-Cent. It's a story of addiction told from the perspective of heroin (Baltimore is the "heroin capital of the US" according to a DEA report...and given that I'm a Baltimore native who, to make a long story short, self-destructed my life in the span of a year thanks to that wonderfully awful dope...I can attest to the borderline-absurd levels of potency and availability of heroin in Baltimore). Oh, and if you do react to that song - "boy" is slang/code for scramble (Baltimore's unique version of heroin) and "girl" is slang/code for ready-rock (a.k.a. crack cocaine). Aesop Rock - Shrunk; Fumes; ZZZ Top; Rings; Coffee feat. John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats; Racing Stripes; Grace; Holy Smokes; Kirby; Crows 1 & Crows 2; Zodiaccupuncture; Lotta Years; None Shall Pass; Big Bang; 39 Thieves; No Regrets | You WILL need the lyric video (and a dictionary) for any Aesop Rock song - he's the penultimate lyricist, with a larger vocabulary than Shakespeare (no, really...someone "did the math," so to speak) King Los - Everybody's a B**** feat. Hopsin & Royce da 5'9"; 5 AM in Baltimore; Five Fingers of Death on Sway in the Morning | He's done the Five Fingers of Death twice; both are terrific. King Los is one of the very few emcees who can legitimately freestyle (as in, "entirely improvised rapping"), whereas most "freestyles" nowadays are at least partially pre-written. (On the topic of freestyling...) Black Thought Freestyles on Funk Flex / Hot 97 | Tarik Trotter a.k.a. Black Thought is the frontman/rapper of The Roots. This video, specifically, is just a 10 min. freestyle (and immaculate display of circular breathing) from one of the all-time greats, no big deal or anything. Moving on... Royce da 5'9" - Cocaine; Caterpillar feat. Eminem & King Green; Death is Certain Pt. 2 (It Hurts); Royal Flush (Freestyle) feat. Canibus & Elzhi; Beamer, Benz, or Bentley (Shady Megamix) feat. Joe Budden, Crooked I, & Joell Ortiz | ...I could go on for quite a while, Royce is the G.O.A.T. in my opinion. Danny Brown - Rolling Stone feat. Petite Noir; Float On feat. Charli XCX; Dilla Bot vs. The Hybrid (by J Dilla feat. Danny Brown); XXX; 30; Ain't It Funny?; Really Doe feat. Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, & Earl Sweatshirt | Danny Brown - much like Salvador Dali - does not DO drugs, for he IS drugs. And I suppose I'll stop there for now. Actually, I'll throw one more out there just for funzies: Mac Lethal - 27 Styles of Rapping (if only to see a VERY small sampling of the dozens of various styles/sub-genres that have grown within the Hip-Hop umbrella).
Unlike most rap groups. 50 cent and G unit went around strapped up with guns and bulletproof cars and vests! He got shot 9 times only a couple of years before he blew up!
@@truthbringer-6748 Me neather, I'm Italian... it's not strictly necessary for the fruition of it, I assume that they will search for the story if they care, like I did. There's Genius
@@FabrizioFabe they're not gonna search for anything. They're just gonna be confused and say they don't understand like they do on alot of videos. The chick already hates Kendrick.
@@truthbringer-6748 It's a masterpiece, if they don't like it, who cares, maybe it'll be usefull for someone else... and when they will acquire a better taste, maybe they will listen more deeply and search the meaning, like everyone else did
Two great lines in this song In the beginning of the song “Those guys who put money on my head, go ahead and get your refund mf I ain’t dead” “The guy Who Shot me three weeks later he got shot down, now it’s clear that I’m here for a real reason, cause he got hit like I did but he ain’t fuckin breathin”
And to let u know my RU-vid channel name is iron_haiden6 like iron maiden but my brother who passed away in 2015 told me to put iron_haiden6 cus my name is haiden and he was and still up there a huge huge metal head he is the one who got me into metal
You should just react to this whole album. Not one song is trash. Rest in Piss to Hamo. YES! Your wife is awesome! 5th element is the shit! lol...Tiny was in fact the president on there lol
Just so y'all have a better understanding of this song. 50 cent was shot 9 times by someone he knew and another person he was cool with is the one who put the hit out on him. And the meaning behind the last line in the song, "now it's clear that I'm here for a real reason, cause he got hit like I got hit but he ain't fuckin breathing"... The guy who shot 50cent was murdered shortly after 50 was shot and the dude who hired the hit was caught and got life in prison.
Many rappers like to claim to be the best, but very few of them have the skill to prove it, 50 cent is one of the few to have the skill to make that claim.
Hip hop culture is kinda neat in the fact that if you say your the best, then you are. UNTIL you are challenged an if your fail. Then your hot garbage. Also people want 50 dead because he shits everything else around him down. If hes not involved. When he sold drugs and some other dude was selling on his block he would rob him then go to the place he got his drugs and rob them. Until they was off his block or city depending the timeframes. And also yes he was shot 9 times all at the same time. One went in his cheek bone an was in his mouth. That's why he references spitin out the bullet he was shot with. An. Ow to this day his only loyalty is too eminem. Who saved him even stuck up for him when Dr. dre said no.
Y'all paused and missed fiftys best like ever" I walk the block with the bundles I've been knocked from the humbles, swing the ox when I rumble show yo ass what my gun do"
That white girl know her shit! She got a thing for certain black people or men she likes tiny Lister I'm going to tell y'all something she got jungle fever 😂❤️😂 she's be having a beautiful Oreo baby ❤️ real soon!!
Here is the alleged issue 50 wrote a song named “Ghetto Quran” it was this song that supposedly caused the unsuccessful murder attempted. One of the reasons he was so strong about not liking people was because many turned their back on him once he was shot on top of that he lost his record deal with Columbia Records. Listen to the song and your see why this happened. Now the person(s) apart of this attempt were all apart of the same crew that 50 cent ran the streets with. Preme was the boss and during that time NY was a crazy place to be. Ja Rule and Murda Ink was just a casualty of war. This song was inspired by real life events once Preme went down for his crimes and murders the supreme team fell apart. Now, Em didn’t find him he was suppose to sign with Dre but he didn’t know what to do with him so Em signed him. The other thing is 50 use to be apart of Nas Bravehearts crew and was on tour with him a few times before he was shot. Fast forward there is an alleged connection with supreme calling the murder of Jam Master Jay for working with 50 cent as well.
you know what. I live watching black people watch metal videos. But i'm not a fan of metal heads watching this stuff lol. This is abasically a true story accept he adopted the godfather thing. His old boy tried to have him taken out. He got shot 9 times.
I could never do reaction videos about music. I grew up in a very diverse area so I'm very eclectic in my music knowledge. Of course, my genre was mostly metal, but rap, country, etc. wasn't foreign. Most of these reaction videos on assorted channels, I'm surprised people haven't heard these songs.
I think you might want to check out Big L - Ebonics, which explains a lot of the slang basics, and also a little how the lyrics are put together, how hip hop makes up ~puns ("bars" in the lyrical sense) from a combination of words with multiple meanings (oftentimes a common meaning + slang meaning) and other words in its proximity which suggest more than one of those meanings.
He got shot by on the orders of supreme. Head of the supreme team. Huge drug dealers. 50 cent had his block locked down in the drug game from the age of 14. He had a lot of nice cars and toys before rap!
