@@butt5fulHe really wouldn't. Todd never showed any behavior like that lol. And Wallace probably has more plot armor than anyone so that makes no sense.
Still processing her later on experimenting with Amity Blight and later on hooking up with Jesper (who would end up forming the League with Captain America, Superman, and Amity as members).
And then Superman dates Captain Marvel, but cheats on her, whether it be the band mate with the robot arm, or a Gay man that turns every man he kisses into a homosexual.
@@thefleshthathates0014 Honestly that sort of makes sense, he becomes very sensitive whenever the Envy topic pops up (that who shall not be named), so I can see that happening. Also a once in a lifetime chance to makeout with a star.
@@thefleshthathates0014 It could be true tbh, Wallace may always act like he doesn't like Scott, but he really sees him as a friend. So he taking revenge in his name while also having fun for himself is pretty much in character
The whole Todd arc makes me crack up because it made me realize in the comics there was an daydream scene where it’s implied Wallace had a fling with Scott for a bit. I wonder if she knew something happened with him and Scott.
A bit random, but it’s kinda interesting that with Scott gone Wallace became noticeably more callous. He was always sarcastic, but he wasn’t so completely dismissive of others and their feelings. Guess Wallace needs Scott after all.
Todd Ingram is the ideal vegan, bisexual himbo that I adore! 😍 Whenever he was on screen, I can't stop thinking about him. He is 100% boyfriend material!
@@joshuagraham2843the vegan police were probably removed from the show for the sake of the rest of the scenes. also idk if there will be a next season lmao
He said that being a vegan allows him to have an exceptional memory, even to memorize an entire script. He didn't need Wallace's help to memorize the script. hubba hubba~
Y’know, I am very surprised that Lucas and Todd were on pretty friendly terms in episode 2. It’s implied that Ramona cheated on Lucas with Todd right in front of him
Did Todd know that Ramona was already with Lucas while they were dating? If not, they may have agreed that Ramona was in the wrong there and just put their conflict aside for the sake of the League
Personally I found Todd fate in this show (simping over Wallace eventhought he reject his love) to be way more hilarious than the comic/ show (lose his power by the dues ex machina of the Vegan cops)!!
Yeah. Envy’s reaction to Todd cheating on her with Wallace was very understandable and considering Todd is real scumbag, it’s very understandable. That’s why it’s soo funny.
Brandon does such a great job of translating a full performance into just the voice, I didn’t realise he was such a good voice actor, I’d love to see him back as superman but if it’s not possible in live action the I recon he’d be great in an animated show
2:23 that kiss should be up for best kiss in the next MTV TV awards. Kieran already won a golden globe and Emmy, might as well go for golden popcorn from MTV for best kiss
I don't care what anybody thinks of this show, it's great! The fact that this show made me feel bad for Todd Ingram alone is grounds for how good it is. I know that alone shouldn't be grounds for judging it as good, it's just that in the books and movie he's a massive dick, but here I can't help but feel for the poor guy.
In the graphic novels, Wallace was already best buds with Scott when Envy brutally dumped him, and ever since then Wallace had a lot of resentment for her because of it. So in my headcannon, I think Wallace seduced and whisked Todd away from Envy as some petty little payback for Scott.
2:30 "You're forgetting Romana, forgetting all about her..." Why do I get the feeling this is how Wallace feels about Scott falling for Romana? Like he wants him to ditch her and just go with him? 😂 3:41 Also, IS WALLACE EMBRACING HIS FANTASY OF DATING SCOTT, I MEAN HE'S TOO AFFECTIONATE FOR IT TO BE FAKE
Mine is Roxy. It was definitely a good writing decision that she faced Ramona first because Ramona hurt her clearly the most. Maybe it's too much head canon but I think Ramona was Roxy's first girlfriend and her coming out so she was still unsure about herself. So after Ramona left her she scarred Roxy emotionally so she became bitter. After her fight with Ramona in Takes Off (in the German dub at least) she said that she was unsure when the last time was when she just hung out with girls. This also showed Ramona how much she messed up in her relationships (at least with Roxy). I really like how Takes Off showed a sweeter side of Roxy after her bitterness faded a bit away with her singing the Hamster Song and cheering Todd up to become a vegan again in the epilogue of the show. But development- and Screentime-wise Matthew, Todd and Gideon/Gordon takes the cake of the main evil exes.
Interesting that they’re making Todd bi sexual in this because in the original comic, Todd was actually cheating on Envy with Lynette Guycott, the drummer for clash of demon head. Not sure why they went with this direction for the show but I honestly don’t mind. Even though I was hoping for an animated version Lynette vs Envy, but this is fine too.
I really like how todd ingram throws a tantrum over his relationship over wallace wells instead of having a relationship with his girlfriend envy adams thats hilarious he's like me🤣😂😂
Todd Ingram; the only member of the league to be a vegeta cult member (seriously theres a vegeta in vegetable, in vegetarian am i the only one who thinks Vegans get their powers from Vegeta thus making them technically Saiyans)
Bro really had a random sexual awakening after all that hooking up….i can’t tell if it’s genuine or if Wallace has some cursed ability to flip straight men.
Because Todd was an asshole to begin with, I think they just wanted to torment him for fun in this version of Scott Pilgrim, but it's more focused on Ramona and Scott so idrc
Hmm… I have to wonder though, like… how exactly would Todd be able to be both an Actor and a Vegan at the same time, I mean… wouldn’t a real life vegan actor (even a fictional real life vegan actor) such as Todd Ingram have to eat and drink In Scripted-Food & Drinks (especially if they’re based on Scott’s favorite food and drinks) that would’ve required Todd to eat and drink what still could’ve gone against his Vegan Code anyway? I know he gave up being a vegan since he became infatuated with Wallace Wells, but wouldn’t he have risked losing them earlier if the Director and Screenwriter had told Todd to eat and drink the things that Scott liked, In Script Wise, that Todd could’ve taken a reluctant risk at doing unless he’d could have at least tried making a good old On One Condition-Deal with the Filmmakers and Film Crew how they could’ve added some good ol' Beyond/Impossible Meat a.k.a Plant Based Fake Meat and Plant Based Fake Dairy Alternatives to go with that Fictional Scott Pilgrim True Story film script such as adding some Vegan Pizza, some Beyond/Impossible Burgers, Almond Milks, Oat Milks, or whatever Meat and Dairy Alternatives etc that could’ve also helped out Todd to stay in touch with both his Veganity and his acting career in Canon Hindsight after all?… but that wouldn’t really matter anymore since he was always bound to lose his Vegan Powers as he has in every universe of the Scott Pilgrim multiverse time and time again anyway.
There’s a ton of substitutes that can be made/used from vegan products. Not as much in the 2000’s as there is now, but there’s enough for Todd to maintain vegan code.
@@amandadane868 I’m still trying to figure out if the Anime Continuity of Scott Pilgrim is actually supposed to take place in this show’s contemporary 2023 canon year, the Movie Continuity’s contemporary 2010 canon year, or the Graphic Novel Continuity’s contemporary 2004 canon year🧐⏰📆, because I read that the Anime Adaptation is supposed to both a Sequel to the Graphic Novel Saga📚 and a Remake of the Cult Hit Film itself🎦, so… is the Anime supposed to taking place within the contemporary 2000's, the contemporary 2010's, or the contemporary 2020's itself, because I have seen some 2000’s stuff in the Anime that we don’t even have in this day and age anymore, as of 11-29-2023 of this reply of course, such as Flip Phones, Video Rental Stores, and Netflix DVDs (⏳since Netflix had just recently retired the DVD Rental Online Delivery and moved on to the Streaming Business these days⌛️), which is why I can’t seem to tell anymore if the Scott Pilgrim Anime is supposed to be taking place in the 2000's, the 2010's, or the 2020's canon wise, because of course the Fake Meat and Dairy Alternatives weren’t as common in the 2000's back then as they’ve become since the mid 2010's, or was it the late 2010's? I’m only curious about Todd Ingram’s survival as a Vegan Actor because I saw within this video, he said how he used his vegan powers to memorize a whole movie script🥦🎥, but I feel like he must’ve left out the part where he would’ve already had to eat some On The Script Scott Pilgrim’s favorite Food and Drinks🥪🍕☕️🥛 that I’m pretty sure could’ve also gone against Todd’s Vegan Code since 23 yr old Scott isn’t vegan y'know😅.
@@HuskyLemur Based off the lack of cell phones and the fact that the Netflix website has the option to order videos to be sent via delivery, it’s safe to say that the present day of the anime takes place in the 2000’s, while Old Scott is from the 2010s and even Older Scott is from the 2010s. Even in the 2000s, there still were enough in the way of practical effects for Todd Ingram to eat something that looked like a non-vegan product that actually was vegan. Even if there weren’t a wide variety of meat substitutes, tofu still existed then and a famous rock star had more access to vegan products than the average Joe in the 2000s. Besides, knowing Todd Ingram, he likely would have written it into his contract that he would not be doing any acting scenes involving non-vegan products. The Vegan Police and Vegan Academy could have worked with the film’s directors and producers (in the anime) to ensure veganage (the word used by Todd Ingram) was upheld. Both of those groups would have definitely wanted to do everything in their power to ensure more ultra vegans were put into the world.
Most of what's eaten in movies isn't real. Actors just fake-bite things, since there are likely to be various shots, the food will go bad, so it's better to have a fake prop
@@amandadane868 while I definitely gave your reply here a like, about 2 months ago (as of 2-13-2024 of writing this response to your reply of course), didn’t you mean to say that Even Older Scott is from the 2020s, since he was 37 when he kidnapped 23 yr old 2000s present day Scott, especially when the immature and narcissistic Future Scott spent 10 years in self isolation training himself to fight and murder his past self and his past self’s love and friends of his life in his stupidly self destructive man childish temper tantrum throwing murder-suicide at age 47 later on LOL? Also why is that Future Scott’s Memory’s even affected by 2000s present day Scott finally trying to do something different, I mean… didn’t the Scott Pilgrim Creator: Bryan Lee O'Malley say that Future Scott & Ramona are supposed to be non canon because they diverged from their main timeline thus making them technically from another universe rather than another timeline canon wise? I know the Main Series-Rick & Morty have traveled to countless realities across the multiverse over the years, and they too have also slipped into their Multiversal Counterparts’ places to replace their corpses to stay in their corpses’ other dimensional homes, neither any of the corpses of those Multiversal Ricks & Mortys have ever once affected the timeline memories of the Main Rick & Morty since their memories remained the same and intact due to those Rick and Morty Season opener and finale episodes always keeping an eidetic memory of that show’s whole continuity if not so perfectly that is. In hindsight to how I still think this Scott Pilgrim Anime should’ve started or in foresight to where I also still think where the Scott Pilgrim Anime should go next in a 2nd season revival or anime sequel series: I still think that this Scott Pilgrim Anime Story should’ve explored the Multiverse Concept of Infinite Scotts & Ramonas to be convinced visually that Future Scott & Ramona literally aren’t Scott & Ramona’s canon future selves from their Main Universe’s past, present, and future time streams after all, or if in the next season or anime sequel series that they could still meet infinite versions of themselves anyway. Because I for still hated how Even Older Scott didn’t just fuse with the Main Scott just like how Even Older Ramona fused with the Main Ramona too, as a touching Zathura Movie Reference to the Future Brothers making peace with their past selves by fusing with them too, I mean… why didn’t Bryan Lee O'Malley and/or BenDavid Grabinski ever write EOS into fusing with Main Scott like EOR did with Main Ramona instead of just sending a now even lonelier EOS back into his time remaining the F🤬 Same? Is the part where Even Older Scott getting sent back to his time supposed to imply that Ramona and Scott relationship and marriage in their will still canonically fall apart as another R&M irl proven soul crushing reminder that romance and emotions are just F🤬 Chemical reactions that just slowly fade away this and that etc… sorry I got carried away there😅, but yeah I’m still pretty sure you meant to say Old Scott is from the 2010s and Even Older Scott is from the 2020s🤣, but I still thank you for sharing your understanding of the Scott Pilgrim canon timeline with me anyway😉.
In my opinion, it totally makes Todd feel obsessed with Wallace. Come on! The guy decided to join a club of Ramona's ex-boyfriends and with the hope that she would come back, PLUS THE DAMNED ONE WAS DATING AND CHEATING WITH ANOTHER GIRL FROM THE BAND
Wallace stepped on Todd's heart in favor of some nerdy rando whose was always way too busy working after they got married? Makes sense. Not. Who in their right mind would turn down Brandon Routh?
