My mom was bald and going through treatment at this time. I watched the game with her , my father and sister. I can’t put into words how this transcended just a game, just a comeback. Brady became my favorite athlete ever this day.
his mom and dad seem so sweet and happy they must so proud of tom brady i know i am and im not even a pats fan but you cant hide greatness once you see it im proud to say tom is the best no one comes close not to put anyone down but the facts and statistics says it
Like Trump says most reporters are so dishonest, this reporters "he did it for you" comment to his Dad and then Mom, is a perfect example. This reporter is trying to elicit an emotional response by making up some quote or intention that TB had. Total BS and highly dishonest.
Like Bill said after, it's insulting to imply he gave this Super Bowl any extra effort for any reason at all. He gave all 7 his 100% best shot. Agreed that this interview felt very awkward, and forced. Too much fishing.
That reporter is Steve Burton...a guy that actually knows Brady and his family and has very close ties to the Patriots organization...it's a very different thing knowing the players and their families personally..
Steve Burton is awesome. He may have been too pushy here (maybe) but lay off him, the dude is a great reporter and, by all accounts, a really cool dude.
All of that was great with his parents and getting to see that, but did the reporter have to get up all in their face and just keep saying all he was saying , trying to make them cry so he could get some fame out of it. Gets on my nerves when reporters do that stuff by repeating themselves saying I bet your emotional, he did it for you, and on and on. They wasn’t going to cry… just stop.
I am not a CBS4 Boston watcher, I live in MN, but the interviewer did a pispoor job. Part way through the interview he continued to tell Mr. Brady that his son won the game for him and his wife. Tom may have done that, but obviously his father didn't know how to answer. But for some reason he kept repeating it. I'm not saying the reporter is bad at his job. I just thought he should of caught on to Mr. Brady's reluctance, and transition to one of the other numerous conversation topics. GO PATS!!!!!!!!
While i know Steve Burton is as class an act as there is in the media. A extremely faithful, solid father, husband, family man himself, from a prominent Patriot legend's family himself whose family's camps help many youth but he crossed over a line this time. Not with Brady's dad but going after and ambushing the mother. I understand he's media but I think he lost track on this one and was 100% wrong and should have known better. He's better then that and has been throughout his long history here in Boston but he was just wrong on this one. Shame on you Steve.
I hope not.. Only a monster would say something like that. Not too say she doesn't look like eloquent beautiful woman that she is. I feel blessed just to be able to be graced by her present on my screen. I was talking about his his father they look identical.
Why hasn't CBS pulled this? He's trying his best to toy with the real emotions with complete disregard for what they are clearly going through. "We gotta get your wife here" talk about a terrible comment. Absolute no respect for them, they even when they try to step out. Regardless of how good or respected Burton is, this is seriously low, I'm kinda shocked.
The reporter interviewing the parent (mom) in this clip is such an idiot and was all up in her space. Did you not get what you needed from his dad. As a son who understands what cancer is and does, that was unprofessional. A simple congrats after you probed dad would have sufficed.
