just my opinion but i think that davante adams deal with the raiders worked in brady's favor. i could be wrong, but i also think brady texted tyreek some time this offseason(when brady was retired trying to make his way to miami) and asked him if he wanted to play together and i bet tyreek liked the idea of it. contract negotiations between hill and the chiefs fell apart and that gave hill the leverage to choose the next team he would go to via trade, which happened to be the dolphins. brady then would play out his final year on his contract(given he doesnt sign an extension) with tampa, becomes a free agent next offseason and then signs with miami. i think miami will be one of the top teams with a lot of cap space where they would attract and sign some big named free agents to play with brady and the new look miami dolphins

Additionally he said he needs surgery to play, but he won't have it unless a team signs him (fabulous selling point...hire me so you can pay for my surgery & rehab, and then maybe if it works I can physically play, if I don't go bonkers again LOL). I can tell you this, while I might not be jumping up & down, I currently have a broken foot (on a leg I'm still recovering from major surgery on). Hurts like hell, but I ran errands on it today, and I didn't have the adrenaline of a game situation running through my veins.

If Brees really was our guy, he would’ve stepped away after 2019 instead of taking more money, time, and development away from a team that grew into making Brees the weakest link.

He has to be paid league minimum for a veteran QB, at least. But, yes, he could take the bare minimum every year and build the best team(s) the league has ever seen.

I'm sure the other owners would prevent this. Maybe by counting any money he takes out towards the salary cap. Essentially meaning he can't withdraw any money for as long as he plays. I don't know but I came up with this in 30 seconds, I trust the league would find a way to restrict this

Remember that Brian Flores accused the dolphins owner of wanting to have a meeting w/a QB on a yacht. That might’ve been Brady instead of Watson so maybe Brady nixed his Dolphins plans when the lawsuit was filed. Many Flores filed the lawsuit because he knew he’d forever be the coach who was tossed so that Brady could be brought in for the Dolphins to go on a SB run. I still believe that Flores is a capable HC. He just seems to think that because he is no owner is allowed to chose another candidate over him even if he has a history of clashing with a GM & might do the same on another team.
