Well neighborhoods have better lyrics and is more mature, california have so much ooooh and nanas, no riffs and the lyrics its too simple. I prefer ngbhoods cause is more art in my opinion. Sorry if my english is bad xd im mexican
Neighborhoods is my favorite out of all Blink albums. I grew up with their whole career so everything they put out I was growing up at the time with their career progression.
We need Tom to do a tour of just this. Him with an acoustic guitar playing parts of his old songs that he can barely remember the lyrics too but is still having fun with it
It's amazing that this guy could pick up a guitar anytime of the day he want's and play around with old songs not realizing how much it means to so many people.
It's unbelievable how charismatic Tom is. I've been to 2 blink shows. One with Tom, one with Matt. The show with Tom, I was almost looking forward to in between the songs more than the songs. It was probably near the hardest I've ever laughed. He and Mark are hilarious together. The show with Matt was all music and nothing really between songs. Don't know if that's changed at all by now, that was in 2016. But seeing this, and how connected to the crowd he is.. it's amazing dude. It's like when Tom is there, the whole room is one energy.
@Brian Rodriguez alot of iconic singers have trashy vocals.its not about that tho.mark n tom grew up harmonizing n backing each other.they learned how to do it together. When he was younger his vocals were better.by like 05 when ava started he got really whiny with his voice. He was never a masterpiece singer.oh no. But you can't play those songs without tom n have the same vibe. Look at like bob Dylan.his vox are just as bad but its not about that. Look at johnny cash.guy barely sang.he more talked.told stories.but if sunone were to say he was trash than that person deserves a smack
I hope before I die I get to see Blink all together one final time. I think in a few years they might get back together for one final tour. I don’t care if the new guy is there too, make it a 4 piece, don’t care. But just one more time, all together, is all I want
Clark Kent Matt Skiba is a legend. Alkaline Trio produced some of the greatest music of its generation. Blink was obviously more mainstream, more known, more popular. But Matt Skiba is a god damn legend. I’d see Matt play an acoustic set over both Tom and Mark

Man his voice has improved so much. I'll always love his old performances that were all over the place, but it makes me so happy and proud to hear such drastic improvement.
Tom says he imagined blink evolving into a sound that was reminiscent of Ghost on the Dance floor and apparently wishing well (since he’s playing it here) and this really solidifies that he’s fond of those songs off of neighborhoods
Neighborhoods was his fucking baby. He took time off after Boxcar Racer, went to college and came back with a fresh ass perspective of musical creation. He put so much into that album and it's so underrated
He still frequently posts screenshots showing him listening to neighborhoods, even before he rejoined the band a couple weeks ago. I so badly hope the new album has some neighborhoods in it.
I often find myself coming back to this video. The camaraderie of the crowd singing along with Tom takes me back to being a kid again. It feels like I'm at a reunion with all my peers who grew up on Blink. Talk about nostalgia. Thank you Tom. 👏

I feel like everything's alright now. Mark, Matt and Travis are killing it with an amazing new blink album, and Tom is out here touring AVA, his #1 passion, and singing some blink and Box Car Racer for nostalgia sake. Life is good.
I have never enjoyed a crowed singing so much. Usually I want them to stfu so I can focus on the performers.. but this time, is so different... hearing everyone sing so perfectly (for the most part), is why I love blink.
That’s crazy how Tom with this few songs on his own can make an amazing unbelievable show like, more powerful than the new Blink 182 all together.🥺 I appreciate the Blink with Matt, specially the NINE, but still.... Blink 182 with Tom is the best❤️

Thats a fantasy. He’s freely doing what he loves. This tour seems to be brining his work with AvA full circle ⭕️ thank god he’s finally throwing us a bone without feeling like he’s whoring himself for AvA to gain traction. He wanted AvA to make it on its own legs and clearly its gaining momentum for him to finally give us this
When they finally come back to the UK if he played even a snippet of Wishing Well I'd be so hyped. It's by far and away my favourite Blink song, Asthenia and Wasting Time are close but there's something about Wishing Well that stuck out to me

I'm so glad he can sound like the recordings after all these years. He still has his vocal variety here and there but I think those are just stylistic choices
Goodness it warms my heart. I love that tom was singing i miss you in the way it was originally done. Remember when blink reunited in 09, and he would do his deeper AVA voice and sing every blink song in the style of AVA?! I didn’t hate it, but yeah! He sings better post 2021 after his surgery. He still has the same pitch in his voice, and style, but is able to sing better than he used to! If you watch him play the adventure in like 2012, vs 2021 he sounds so much better!
Cool. I'm the 500th person to like this video. I know, it's not that special. What is special is watching Tom sing these songs I grew up with. Hope to see AvA and Blink-182 on tour someday.
