Sir Tom Jones is an absolute legend!! He will live on forever!! One of the most incredible singers, ever!!! I have loved him ever since I first heard him sing “It’s Not Unusual” back in the mid 60s. When he then sang “What’s New Pussycat?” I thought it was so delightful and outrageous. But when he came out with “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” I was smitten and knew that I would love him forever! I used to play the song over and over again! However, Tom Jones never ceases to amaze you with his wonderful, delightful repertoire of his beautiful powerful voice in songs such as “I’m Coming Home” and “I Who Have Nothing”, then for years I couldn’t make up my mind which one was my favourite between “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” and “I Who Have Nothing” until I finally decided they are both my favourites. Just recently I have changed my mind and decided that “You’re My World” is my favourite not only because of how beautifully Tom sings it but also because of the beautiful romantic lyrics. However, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” and “I Who Have Nothing” are still right up there as my favourites! I also loved “Without Love”, “With These Hands”, “Till”, “Green, Green Grass of Home” and ”Funny Familiar Forgotten Feelings” as favourites that he sang with a powerful voice that melts your heart. My other favourites include “Love Me Tonight”, “She’s A Lady”, “Delilah”, “Daughter of Darkness”, “Help Yourself”, “Detroit City”, “Ghost Riders In The Sky”, “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World”, “Sexbomb”, “Kiss”, “Say You’ll Stay Until Tomorrow”, “Burning Down The House”, “Thunderball”. Also love his powerful rendition of Leonard Cohen’s song “Tower of Song”, very uplifting! Also loved “I Won’t Crumble If You Fall” and “No Hole In My Head” from his latest album. Sir Tom Jones always puts on an exciting show, and he is very professional! He makes you always want to come back for more!!! When I used to go to his concerts years ago I used to love his beautiful, powerful voice, especially the way he sang his romantic ballads with such feeling he would make your heart stop or melt, his exciting sexy dance moves, his wit, his charm, his naughty antics and humour, and his very professional performances. In the mid '70's (77-78?) I moved Sir Tom, Englebert Humperdynk and Mrs Mills from St George's Hill, Weybridge to America. Tom had a big Red Dragon on the bottom of his pool. Pat Dorsey (Englebert's wife) was very nice and told the lads that "this fridge is full of beer, help yourself", sorry but I had to put the kibosh on that but we did play Snooker in the games room in the Loft!
