Hang Over Gang in the house! This old vet has been following Tom and Nova's for close to five years. The amount of songs that have been hard hitting on facts. I have watched him be called everything you can imagine, the shadow banning, band from radio, no matter what the song is about. Reactors always talk about HOG and how big they come, which keeps his music growing and fights hard against the shadow banning. Yet every song like this, he is expecting them to do something to remove or ban or hide / shadow in hopes to limit its reach.

People miss that, I watched the reactors who put this out right away and it was bringing men to tears because it’s not just about politics, it’s about thinking about how this is all done and controlled. And taking over everyone’s way of thinking. It applies to the world. Now I see people saying “I wish he wasn’t still doing political songs” and I’m like I think if he saw change happening, he feels like he needs to keep saying PLEASE THINK FOR YOURSELF, READ, LEARN, GO FIND THE TRUTH! And everyone turns it into an automatic “political song.” But really it’s not, this song breaks down how to THINK our way out this! Open minds that picking a “team” isn’t the solution. I appreciate his passion and I hear his exhaustion and emotion in this, a lot of us feel that way. I love moving out of the boxes we’ve been put in. For one example that is powerful to me, I’ve seen so many people FINALLY started learning that Africans were not the first or ONLY slaves. Race had nothing to do with it, poverty did. And it was almost every single country. Skin color was NOT the reason, denying there were white American slaves and Asian slaves and European slaves, middle eastern slaves, every single “group” of people were slaves too (slave comes from the Slavs, the originals). It took this long for people to learn that black people or Africans because they go by what was taught and not the truth! Race wasn’t a problem in my school (in a very very small rural Georgia city) at least, until they taught slavery was an American only issue and that Africans or black people (from wherever) were the only slaves ever. 🙄🤬. People are just now opening up to see the lie they were told too. That’s why European countries laugh about it (to Americans) because they are like “did you guys not learn the truth? Why do Americans believe slaves were only African, and only in America? Why don’t they teach the truth? People are really willing to accept this lie as the truth?” They are so confused by it because in other countries they don’t teach that slavery was race related AT ALL because that is the truth! Africa still has slaves and no one talks about it. Why? People have to start thinking FOR THEMSELVES and take the time to believe we are worth learning the truth. Tom is really trying to make people challenge their thinking and if they believe it because it was taught or because they sought out the TRUTH. He dismantles everything and how it’s controlled, why it’s controlled, and begging for people to think about it…..if you don’t see it, then you’re falling for the gvmt lies. It’s not anti-American, it’s anti-lying to citizens to keep themselves in charge. So I hope people really really listen and not just write this off as a “political song”. I’m not surprised at all that freedom of speech is on the chopping block. Back when it became a right it wasn’t as big of a threat to the system as it is now with the internet. You could only exercise your freedom of speech to the circle of people you conversed with for the most part. With the internet it’s a way bigger threat because we’re connected to other people like never before. We’re speaking to people that we were told not only were very different than we were but also who they made us fear through stereotypes. Everyone’s focused on the abolition of the second amendment (and yes I am a gun owner and it is an issue) but a lot of people don’t realize it’s the first one that’s in immediate danger.

It looks like you have a place right alongside us in #HOG, all that is required is your fighting for humainity. ❤ Tom's has a genuinley beautiful heart, I never understood why people could hate him as a person. It hit me me at the beginning of the whole lockdown for me, the problem with me is the more time you give me in my home, the more I had the oppurtunity to think. Tom's third verse gave me crazy chills, I personally feel like if you cant see and feel Tom's true sentiment about these topics after watching at 9:18 through the end, and you still think hes pandering, you may want to reassess yourself. The emotion bleeds through the whole song but there is something about that last verse. Nova's talent not only to create but also capsure the visual embodiment mirroring the emotion and passion interwoven in his words literally left me with no words. I love all of their videos but there is something ever more, i dont know, personal, intense or maybe connection with this video. I do not have any background it audio or visual production, but I think the sight and sound multimodal expirence just seems to hit perfectly to create a larger impact. Sorry i didnt react to this sooner but i just stumbled onto your channel. I have to tell ya when i first heard Tom 4 years ago (the song was "CASTLES") i instantly felt a connection with this young man! I'm 65 years old i was 61 when i first heard him, i came up in the 60's and 70's i never listened to Rap music until my teenage daughter brought home some Eminem back in 2000! So for me to connect with Tom was a mini miracle! Pretty quick i found out that Tom's fan base is really diverse, from ages 7 to 70 every race creed and color! I dug deep into Tom's history and its an amazing story but the love story between Tom and Nova Rockafeller is epic! Nova is the video director of all of Tom's videos since 2016. Nova was signed to Def Jam, she dropped some great music that never got attention from the music industry and after sampling her catalog i cant imagine why she never blew up! Def Jam dropped the ball big time! I suggest you check out Nova's music its all pretty great! Also theres other artists who colaborate with Tom such as DAX, Adam Calhoun, Brandon Hart, MadChild and Struggle Jennings. Struggle is the grandson of Waylon Jennings! Tom even did a song called "End of the World" with country artist John Rich of "Big and Rich" and "Lonestar". Tom and his HangOverGang are 4.5 million strong and growing but the music industry completely ignores Tom, they pretend he doesnt exist!
