I'm white female in my 60' s hated history in school so never paid attention, had many black friends, hung around together in Jr high and High school male and female ,partied, went to concerts, so many good times, wasn't untill i was in my mid 20's read a novel including the topic of slavery and I was blowned away, naive I guess, but for people having done such things to other humans was hard to grasp. I remember how grateful I was that it was no longer like that, my Art teacher was Black, had a crush on him, my 5th grade teacher was Black...Mrs Weaver Loved her and and loved that perfume she wore when she walked by my desk, smell that fragrance today and memories galore, and her smile. She was much loved by parents and faculty. All that to say, in reference to your feeling uncomfortable in areas mostly white, its the same for me when I find myself with amongst black, mostly men, back then I wouldn't have thought a thing of it, it just wasn't an issue so its that much more heartbreaking that its come to this and i do honestly feel the media IS fueling the fire for whatever agenda they have and Government trying to get the people to put our trust in them as our Savior instead of God, for some Power trip, Rich scheme they have, ( sorry thats just my take)Praying the Good Lord Intervenes somehow because we are just robbing one another of Good friendship and Love ❤🙏 Got carried away...apologizes...Love your reactions 👍

No one should feel shame for something our ancestors did that includes black and Asian and Middle Eastern and every where else that did slavery. It’s was just the time period.
