One of the most memorable comments I can remember. I read this several months back and it kept popping back into my head. It's so cool to think me making music in my bedroom could eventually be something that others feel this strongly about.
I feel such a musical connection with you man its mad. The description of the chord changes, headphones for every journey and your musical upbringing all sound very familiar. Keep doing it bro.
I discovered Tom's music about a year ago, and I still can't get over how good his tracks are. It is a fucking damn shame that when people ask me who some of my favourite artists are they don't know who Tom is. Your music fucking kicks ass man, never stop! One day you'll be huge.
Been listening to this album for pretty much three years and it’s gotten me through so much. I never knew this video even existed but I’m so happy and grateful to be able to see the process behind it. It really makes me love you as an artist even more, which I didn’t think was possible. Keep making great music!❤️
I hope one day you get the recognition you deserve and be at the top just like these other artists so you can show them how to make music from the heart.
Hey Tom, I just want to thank you, thank you for the music you make, thank you for the effect your music has. Because of you i got over a big part of my depression, because of you i had the courage to break up with my emotionally abusive boyfriend. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
As a lover of music, and a soul man, I had come by your music through Soulection & what you were cooking up then, compared to the magic you have now is incredible. Beat tape 2 is truly a body of work brother.
Just bought you CD today, Tom. Been a fan of your music for years. I even forced a girl I went out with to listen to it when we went to the city! You're music makes me feel good even when I feel bad and for ten dollars? I don't think I can thank you enough! Keep doing what you're doing. Hope I get to see you this November in the city!
Stoked you have a youtube channel, listen to your stuff all the time. Its sick to hear that youve drawn inspiration from Oscar Peterson and J Dilla as well. Thanks for your music man.
I think the best thing I love about Misch is that he just looks honest and real with everything he is saying and that is something that is like Huge in a person to the point were Misch just looks like a good friend you know.
Wow...Tom you are literally my favorite artist. This video brought tears to my eyes, you're just so passionate about what you're doing,so pure. You're following your dreams, and it's an absolute inspiration. Keep it up brother, you're definitely on the path to greatness! :) p.s Love the shirt lol
You’re a so amazing. You are the only musician in the world. I love you and your music. Someday, I wish I could met you and listen your song..! Exactly where you are. I want to be like your soul. I appriciate that you are being in the music!! 🎤🎧🎬❣️🍓
I found out about you through the kwabs remix, which I love. Damn, u're spot on with the feeling about music! U seem like a really cool dude. Keep doin ur thing! Peace mike in Sweden
your music is so genuine and real & musically gracious, if you create a band, even more of all the great things you do will show. i actually can play some of your songs from beat tape 2 & other singles on the guitar. but i love your music, so keep it up. beat tape 3???
Please make an album of your little jam spurts! There's always something you play in these making of video that you hold back from the album! 4:30 in particular
Music is a language. You don’t need lyrics if you put your emotions into a chord progression or riff with or without a beat depending on what you feel. It’s how I come to peace and celebrate. And you can tell that from how someone plays.
dig your thought process man. i actually see a lot of similarities between the two of us, particularly in our approach to playing guitar and writing on guitar. stoked to see you play in santa ana!
Tom and Loyle Carner collaborate so easily with each other the music that is produced is so clean. Keep up the work Tom and you will be mention in the same breath as J Dilla. P.S. Anyone know where his Dilla T-Shirt is from?
***** NICE! Big fan of you both. Hope to have at least one of two things happen: Either I get to London one day and see you both perform live or (and this is a big one) You finally make your way to America for a tour! If you ever hit up Atlanta, GA, I'll be stage side!
***** I could totally join your band! Except I live all the way in Austin, TX :( But seriously love your music and the jazz groove. Very chill and relaxed. Been showing my other friends your music and listen to it when we go on road trips and they all love it. Check out one of my Frank Ocean covers if you can! My channel is MartaHerrera95.
