Gabriel I have actually seen him in a live concert, impressed by the speed and skills, not at all by the phrasing. At the end of the show they did a jam (with Pete thorn and philX) over a Hendrix song... at his turn to play the solo the guy played his legatos ....again and again, completely out of context. But maybe I misjudged him, I’ll find some of his songs to listed with more attention.
is he? don't think he's underrated. he's definitely among my the most favorite players. maybe not that famous among some metal/djent guitarists as he plays a different kind of music. but he's good.
