Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Nintendo Switch Gameplay 

The old sound effects just gave me instant nostalgia.

Classic Lara is back baby! Hopefully they do 4,5 and 6 then the Legends trilogy.

If you're looking for lengthy gameplay, this trilogy will pack a punch for it's price.

I hope it gets a Physical Copy!

I prefer the original graphics, they are absolutely charming to me, however I think I'll be playing in remastered graphics because 60 FPS just makes such a big difference, it's so much more pleasing to the eyes for me.

Finally the real Tomb Raider games are back. I just hope this sells well enough to warrant us getting new games with the graphics and level design of the older games. We got so many NES and SNES-like games, it'd be amazing to finally get new PS1-like games as well (especially since Tomb Raider only worked in that era). I can already picture them making a giant Tomb Raider game. With the older graphics and playstyle it'd not consume that much power on that department and truly allow them to make a giant experience.

This looks amazing, can't wait to play it on the 14th.

I’ve been wanting to jump back into OG Tomb Raider, having finally beaten the original Resident Evil recently. I could never figure these games out back in the day, but I have such nostalgia for them.

Well that’s February, March and April sorted! The gameplay has just transported me back to obsessively playing all 3 on the PS1 when they first came out. Some real jump scares and brilliant puzzles.

I adore the look of this. These games nailed the feeling of isolated exploration. And that soundtrack! Man I am so into this.

How fast are the loading times between levels and from a savegame?

I love the blocky pixelated graphics just not the tank controls

I would love for cap com to do this with the ps1 resident evil trilogy, think it would be pretty nifty seeing those graphics 'remastered' to a degree with modern controls, even though we have the remakes and remasters it would be cool if the trilogy was given this kind of treatment.

Perfection, I like that the exclamation mark which pops up when you can interact with something like a lever or keyhole only pops up when very close to it. If lara were to enter a room and I could see little exclamation marks scattered about I would be so annoyed. The game is ment to be pretty hard core and hands off so I like what I am seeing here. I think you can even turn it off altogether too! :)

I wonder if this released on the N64 if it would have looked like this just s little sharper & clearer.

It seems exactly what I was hoping for. Minimal change to the vibe, sounds and mechanics but with modern resolution. This really gives me the nostalgia experience I am looking for

the movements look smooth... I know the frame rate changed of course, but the movements look softer. A good change if they did it!

Been playing for 2 days and had to basically stick to retro mode. Tried the modern graphics and for some reason the lighting in caves is non existent so the screen is pitch black on my switch oled.

I hope Aspyr fixes the Secret of the third in the Great Pyramid as that is an unintentional bug locking you out of getting all secrets.

We can tell this is your first time playing the game. 🫠 Just climb on a platform or make some side and back jumps to kill those wolves and tigers without losing half of your HPs.

I see that, I much prefer it to the Tomb Raider Reboot. It's not nostalgia, it's the desire to play a game. 😯 I don't want cinematic scenes and ideological scripts, I want to interpret the world just by playing.

While I do have a lot of nostalgia for these games, I remember how frustrating the controls were and I doubt that has been changed. This seems to be a graphical overhaul only so I will be passing

Why am I having such a difficult time trying to save my game in Tomb Raider One for Nintendo Switch? I've spent hours trying to solve this mystery. I finished The Caves then Lara drowned in the next level. My only choice was to choose New Game or Unfinished Business. The save of The Caves then disappears from the compass. And why is it in the compass? This is mind boggling and I've wasted many hours trying to figure this out and three calls to Nintendo Support. Deleted save data on my Switch and then the software, then downloaded again. Did that twice. Studied many walkthroughs on RU-vid and the internet but to no avail. Please help. Thank you so much!!

Ah! So happy about this. 3 of my all time favourite games…but beware. Tomb Raider III is one of the most difficult games I’ve ever played. I hope there’s no save crystals system in the remaster!

As i have played these games countless times, I find the modern controls a little frustrating. They lack the acuracy of the old controls. I'll have to try them out first, they may be better!

Looking good I will not be getting a switch again just for this!!!!!!!! Now if they released it for vita that would be nice then I'd buy......and if not oh well I'm happy with what I got if they release it for mobile then I'd buy for sure have a view 3 and play little nightmares on it great port so I can only hope for a mobile port I'll be waiting!!!!

I wasn't interested in this but it looks surprisingly good. The graphics look authentic but a lot better than what they looked like originally.

As much as i love Tomb Raider, I dont think I would get used to the controls it looks painful to play .

Apparently this game has tank controls in addition to a modern control scheme. Looks like this player is using modern mainly. Looks wrong. Tank controls all the way for me!

Thank you. Sometimes, if making a review, i wonder why they all have to be 2 second clips from the game, pasted together. To me, thats not enjoyable to watch, and doesn't allow gor a clear picture of the game. I would rather like it being presented like this, then talk about it.

I've never played it and I'll be honest. It doesn't really blow me away... I think I'm too spoiled by Rise and Shadow of Tombraider... I've never looked at anything else before...

Got mine today on reserve. Very a very fair price in my country (Brazil - 132R$). Can’t wait. I would love a physical copy too.

The largest update to this has to be the controls, never mind the visuals. The old style of rotating on the spot and then moving forward feels terrible now when trying to play the original releases.
