Lance was always so understated. He reminds me of a parent watching two or more of his kids fight and, rather than jump in (because Lance is not going to jump in), he scolds them. "Tommy, now, come on. There's a place and a time for that and it's in the ring, not out here on the floor. Come on now."
Wildfire was the best bleeder in the business but ya didn't call him out unless you were ready to bleed yourself..What a great time to be a kid growing up in Mempho back then...
Tommy Rich was Jerry Lawler in reverse. Beloved as a Face in NWA Georgia, Continental, and WCW while occasionally a strong Heel in Memphis. Whereas with Lawler until much later in his WWE tenure he was reviled pretty much everywhere except Memphis.🤔😉🎤🤴🎼🎸🤼♂️B.W.
You see a lot of people didn't see what happened off camera Eddie Gilbert was trying to be really good friends with wildfire but wildfire turned on him but the cameras didn't catch it
At least Eddie had the courtesy to rip Tommy's suit jacket up so he didn't have to clean the blood off of it LOL. Lance Russell once again showing that he was head and shoulders above everybody else as a commentator.
