I am 50 years old and I love watching these on youtube! Memphis wrestling was so " real" when i was a kid.

Lance was always so understated. He reminds me of a parent watching two or more of his kids fight and, rather than jump in (because Lance is not going to jump in), he scolds them. "Tommy, now, come on. There's a place and a time for that and it's in the ring, not out here on the floor. Come on now."

I always wondered what was going through Lance Russell's mind standing next to bloody messes like Eddie Gilbert and Tommy Rich.

Tommy Rich was Jerry Lawler in reverse. Beloved as a Face in NWA Georgia, Continental, and WCW while occasionally a strong Heel in Memphis. Whereas with Lawler until much later in his WWE tenure he was reviled pretty much everywhere except Memphis.🤔😉🎤🤴🎼🎸🤼‍♂️B.W.

At least Eddie had the courtesy to rip Tommy's suit jacket up so he didn't have to clean the blood off of it LOL. Lance Russell once again showing that he was head and shoulders above everybody else as a commentator.
