They will lose their TV deal unless they start attracting traditional wrestling fans who don't want to watch this garbage, e.g., no kayfabe; everyone kicks out of everything; there's a run-in after every match; all backstage interviews are interrupted; Tony's booking is terrible, etc.

This is actually pretty sad and desperate. WWE coming off, possibly their best 2 weeks of television in years between the Wyatts, Jacob Fatu, Drew/Punk, Dom/Liv and more so Cocaine Tony had to run to Meltzer for a softball interview

This clown ruined every chance to have a real competition to WWE. It's okay if you love indy wrestling, but keep it in the bingo halls and don't put it on national TV!

Instead of worrying about the opposition, remove the non-draws stop force feeding them down everyone's throat and focus on what made AEW semi defent. Build around Swerve MJF and Osperay.

Came away from this interview with a real negative view of TK. His constant redirecting and outright hostility towards basic questions posed was extremely unprofessional. Most of these question were teed up for Tony to clear up criticism & common complaints, he instead took offense.

I'm going to sue Dave Meltzer for the pain caused listening to this "interview". Dave takes a day to ask a loaded question for Tony to then take forever to answer since he always fillers. This "interview" was a total set up from the start, notice how it doesn't run smoothly and the 'questions' asked are ones that literally no one would ask, especially when so much has happened at AEW in the last couple of years and these guys ask about the demo and 'frustration with fans fantasy booking'. These aren't journalists people

I got really annoyed listening to this because at the end Bryan asked about overcoming predictability and Tony started off fine then he started rambling off about the connection of Mina and the fans and sending people to Stardom and shit.... He answered nothing of what Bryan actually asked... Tony he asked you about unpredictable outcomes FFS.... He had the right storyline to use for his answer.. Having Mariah May being the center of all of this and having her flip flop sides and having it make sense produces unpredictable television that makes fans want to tune in more.. Like one moment Mariahs doing entrances with both ladies.. Then she's getting hit by a champagne bottle by Mina but it happened because Toni ducked.. So it boils down to who Mariah sees as the guilty party down the line.. You add twists and turns so the fans question the predictability of your outcomes... That's the answer Tony!

First thing, TK said he needs to focus on doing good AEW shows and not what the competition is doing. No shit, that should have been your goal from day 1. Secondly, he said historically we have done great numbers. Historically?? Your company is 5 years old, there is no historically. A new company started out hot bc people were tuning in to check it out so of course numbers would be high. The first couple of years people are going to come and go and you will eventually find your place. Right now the ratings reflect the product. TK can play with his numbers, data, stats and try to spin them anyway he wants but the truth is AEW is not in the same league as WWE when it comes to ratings or the type of money they deserve for a tv deal. There is nothing wrong with that. Stop comparing yourself to them and stop pretending there is some huge war between the two companies or that AEW is some big threat to the WWE. Focus on making your product and company better. Stop worrying about what the other guys are doing. The WWE is like the UFC and AEW is Bellator. Again, nothing wrong with that. Bellator always has solid fighters and a decent product at times but always seems to find a way to take one step forward and two steps backwards time and time again just like AEW does.

Why didn't they ask him why there's only like 2 real contenders in the entire Owen cup and it's for a title shot. No Okada, no MJF, No Orange, No Jericho, No one really outside of Danielson and Hangman(wildcard)
