In this mini-series we build, fly and review this laser cut sailplane kit from Tony Ray. The model is 1/6 scale, has a span of 3 metres (112"), and is designed for 4 to 6 channel RC. The model can be built for slope soaring, for aerotow, thermal soaring, or as a motor glider with the inclusion of a brushless motor.
In Part 3 we build the fuselage. This section provides its own challenges as we get to grips with some very hard balsa for the sheeting. We also uprate the wing joiners and beef up the planked forward fuselage.
