He up there sanging his throat off you hear me! I loved watching the Apollo back in the day cause the true talent back then understood the assignment when they got on that stage baby!!!❤❤
Dis the shit you tell your kids what type of music we grew up on; and, tell them u must watch for the main 'fixer'; that being EVA...my kids just ask me," who is Aunt Eva?" The people who grew up looking at The Showtime at the Apollo know who EVA(the old lady who was there every Saturday night).memories!🤔😆😆😆😆😆😆
He is so talented and I love “Lovey Dovey” as well! A live performance will always tell you if an artist can really sing 🎤 and there is no doubt that he can! ❤️😎
I was fifteen had no girlfriend but I use to sing the hell out of this song!! I remember this very episode!! He sounds better than the actual recording!!
This song takes me back to the early 90s. When this song played on the radio you could hear people singing the song in cars around you at stoplights. I didn't sound like him singing, but my girlfriend didn't mind.
@@keyfrom92 man, I'm a 90s baby that just loves good RnB and am VERY opinionated about today's music. I doubt if I could put u on if you knew about this. Best I can probably do is tell you to go look at Maxwell's Bet Lounge performance from the late 90s or early 2000s you haven't seen it. Those live vocals, especially on Sumthin Sumthin Mellosmooth is a whole vibe 😁
Tony is still touring and releasing new music(new single last year). He’s very active on fb and Instagram (@mrtonyterry). You can see his tour dates there.
Performance definitely opened my eyes to see that he is a great vocalist despite me not believing it at first. Too bad his voice wasn't enough to have more hits to be more remembered as an artist
@@ashkeygii9449 Like I said it wasn't about him or his voice being 'enough'. Many artists of the last 35-40 years with very average voices ended/end up with longer careers. Management/backing and material have everything to do with who's remembered...not his fault.
