steve gower jr. I'm a black metal head. I've played guitar in hardcore metal bands since 1999. Metal is my specialty, I'm a metal Guru. I'mma recommend some good shit for you. Some shit your fans may have not even heard of, based on what they recommend you. If you like guitar solos, React to Born Of Osiris: Follow The Signs. If you want a good drum solo, the classic is Tom Sawyer, by Rush. Listen to Smokey:By Emmure. Holla at me, so we can talk more. But start with those.
Dude, no doubt about it. I've been watching his reviews that past few days. Tool U.S. Bank Arena Tue. Nov 5, 2019 7:00 PM My $175 tickets are nose-bleed section. Can't wait.
"He was too scared to realize you were the voice that's been calling me back HHOOME....." every fiber of my being has an out of body experience during JIMMY.
So glad u got the backstory of this song b4 u listened to it...makes so much more sense...I'll say it again...best reaction videos out there...100k subs no problem👌
Been a fan of Tool for almost 20 years now, and watching you react their songs has helped me rediscover a new depth to the band. Thanks for your videos bro.
Bro. the track right before this song is a circus theme song in each they turned that exact beat/theme into this song. it's crazy when you realize this.
If you feel like digging into Maynard's other bands, these songs are a good place to start: Puscifer - Galileo | Horizons | The Remedy | The Humbling River | Autumn A Perfect Circle - Judith | The Outsider | The Hollow | The Doomed Cheers!
I never heard it till like the last 6 months or so when a friend gave me the aenemia CD and the line when he says " moving me with a sound opening me with in a gesture drawing me down and in "that is what pulled me in and the beat I was standing in my living room just completely entralled in the music
Man I am loving watching you take in all these Tool songs. Sometimes you look like you are on the verge of tears and that's awesome. I first listened to this as a teenager 20+ years ago and I felt the same way. For this whole album I would cry, get angry, and go through the gamut of emotions. And now seeing you be touched by it is making my tear up again. So epic.
One of the best compliments you could give a fan of Tool is the thanks towards that person for introducing you to this incredible, complex, deep, meaningful and sometimes overwhelming band. Not band, artists. They took music to a whole nother artist level than this round little world has ever seen before. Tool. Is. The. Best. Band. Ever.
mad respect bro , mad respect , i like how you left out the fatality and finish him excerpts for this song, that really showed your compassionate side , i have watched quite a few of your videos but have never subbed , but just that alone got you a sub, once again mad respect
Just found your channel today. Been binge-watching your Tool videos all day. So far, this is my favorite reaction video of yours. Really cool to see how touched you are by the lyrics. And as a fan, I actually never knew the backstory of this song. So you taught me something and brought a new light to this song for me.
Glad you chose this tool song. Very unknown and personally my favourite off the aenima album. Tool the patient tool the patient tool the patient tool the patient
I found your videos late, but I’m so glad you found this song, this song got me thru a lot of rough times when I was a teen. I’m 38 now and I love more every time I hear it. You just gained a sub.
Judith by A perfect circle man, Maynards othe band. Those lyrics will tear u apart when you combine them with Jimmy, Wings for Marie pt 1 and 10000 Days. Got to do it quick brother. Also redo Right in Two and 46 and 2 with the lyrics, gotta see your reaction to those songs.
This is one of the underrated Tool songs, but I got more goosebumps listening to this reaction than ever before, and I've listened to this song a 1000 times before. Great shit
I have listened to Tool since like 96. I lost some of the original connection I had to these songs over the years. Thanks for bringing those goosebumps back for me!
I think this is the only video of yours I've seen go for five minutes without a hold up bruh or sound effect (I don't mean that as a bad thing 😃). I don't know why but that seemed to stick out as important to me for some reason. Another great review, stay steady my man.
All tool songs are my favorite but this 1 is crazy great!! Love Tool and very happy that you are as well. Keep listening to them and you will love every song off all albums.
I’m subscribed to a lot of reaction channels, but I gotta say yours is by far the best. Most genuine reactions and, most importantly, an open mind. Hold on, bruuuuuuuh!
I’ve been a tool fan from day 1. Came across your channel searching for tool shit. I got goosebumps watching you bro. You gave even more meaning and feeling to the songs you did. Keep up the good work. Love it!!!
Incubus - The Warmth || TOOL - Schism || Mobb Deep - Back At You || KoRn - Got The Life ........... Gimme a heart bro..........GIMME A HEART BRUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Preston... If only people felt music like you and I ... and many others out there..... there would be no war, hunger, starvation, any of that. Music is the universal language. I'm ALWAYS impressed with your reactions and ability to feel the music as it was meant to be felt. Wonderful job. Once again thank you for all your hard work bro... keep on wit it!! Peace and love to you and yours!!
Jimmy is one of my favorites but there are so many good songs on that album that it does get slightly overlooked. Pushit and Pushit live are 2 of their best.
Dude, I love that you get Tool. React to ever song, and worry not about back to back to back to back Tool reactions, for there is music, AND THEN THERE IS TOOL!
You should listen to, Wings for Marie Part 1 and 2. Tool singer, Maynard, wrote that about his mom. He said it's the most personal thing hes ever written and he'll never do it again because it was just too emotional for him.
This is my favorite Tool song. Anyone else agree? I mean it's extremely hard to pick a favorite because there are so many but this one affects me the most. He went deep into his personal life here and its really an amazing experience. Get in front of a good system or in your ride and blast this one.
I was a huge fan tool been a fan since 1994... But when this album came out and I heard this song it took what I felt for Tool and brought it to a whole new level and that was even before I knew and understood what the song was about
Love the intro and the reactions mate. Parabola- tool We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment We are choosing to be here, right now Hold on, stay inside This holy reality This holy experience Choosing to be here in This body, this body holding me Be my reminder here that I am not alone in This body, this body holding me Feeling eternal, all this pain is an illusion Alive, I In this holy reality In this holy experience Choosing to be here in This body, this body holding me Be my reminder here that I am not alone in This body, this body holding me Feeling eternal, all this pain is an illusion Twirling round with this familiar parable Spinning, weaving round each new experience Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing The chance to be alive and breathing This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality Embrace this moment, remember We are eternal, all this pain is an illusion
If you like Tool , perhaps you’d also like one of Maynard’s other projects “ A Perfect Circle” search their catalog you won’t be disappointed. Songs like Judith or the Hollow even his newest stuff like “ so long, and thanks for all the fish “
So far, I've only watched the Pink Floyd and Tool reaction videos, far and away two of my favorite bands, and both I've been blessed to see live. Your openness to music, the attention you pay to the intention, it's so awesome to see people vibing on this music. Shout out to you, Preston!
This. Was a huge gangsta rap fan in my mid to late teens. Punched a few dots, my mate puts on this album and I was immediately drawn into Tool and their music. Have been a die hard fan ever since.
Tool and James Manard Kennan are truly talented. One of my favorite bands used to vibe to this as a kid along with many other genre's. This song is about when his mother had a stroke and left him practically alone. His father left when he was 3 and he had to take care of his mother and she sent him away to live with his aunt in Michigan. Tool as light hearted as they can be can be as deep as the darkest ocean. Glad you choose to listen and share this culture with us.
You lucky your getting into tool when the internet is in full force. Song meaning.com lyric videos changes everything. When I bought tool cds they never included lyrics in booklet. And I suck at hearing words I make up my own. With tool it was all about the music. But for you definitely do some Research before your next tool reactions. Go back and do the research on your past tool reaction videos. This band has been a continuous companion for almost 2 decades only cause I got into them late lol. They never lose there relevancy.
Maynard has a way of taking a weakness or pain and projecting strength through it. Another great video my man. Your reactions seem more genuine than a lot of other content creators...
Do em back to back bro. Every time you react to Tool you're winning... in the words of Professional Rapper, Lil Dicky - you ain’t about to win them back to back You bout to win them like it’s back to back to back to back to back Til you stop reacting. :)
Man,I love your reactions!! You take their music seriously, and I really appreciate it in you. This is why it makes me want to see more of your reactions on Tool. Much respect!!
