Very Very nice video. Well done for fitting sooooo much info into 5mins. I'm currently a newbie at hydrochloric rust removable and love it,working a 50/50 rate over 60 mins seems to be the sweet spot for me

Thanks for your feedback. The only thing I would add is that using acids for rust removal, particularly for tool restorations is a little frowned upon by restoration purists, especially if patina needs to be preserved. I hear this alot from a couple of other forums that I am a member of. Hope you continue to get excellent results from your own projects.

How about heating the water? Put a miniburner on for 5 mins, but still leave it in the solution for 24 hrs?

Worth a try. If I remember my high school chemistry, reactions can be accelerated with the introduction of heat particularly for non-exothermic reactions.

@@alexandruene6069 Ar trebui să fie bine. Acidul este componenta care îndepărtează rugina, motiv pentru care funcționează și acidul acetic. Principala diferență pe care va trebui să o cunoașteți este concentrația acidului. Nu știu care este concentrația acidă a acidului bateriei, cu toate acestea, un mic test ar trebui să ofere câteva îndrumări. Ea poate fi întotdeauna slăbită.
