Extremely helpful video, especially #5 Templates - I'm just about to create a whole load of Powerpoint videos and that one tip is very valuable, thank you for sharing. I like your style of presentation too...vary calming and assured, it's a shame my old school teachers weren't like that!

Man, your videos have taught me so much! I didn't have a computer for about 2.5 years but recently bought a Dell xps 9700. Am computer illiterate But working on that. Your videos are so clear and informative. I watch them on my phone and then practice what you teach on my laptop. Am working towards creating my own Bible teaching videos via PowerPoint and using Premiere Pro to edit. Have alot to learn. Thanks for all of your help!!

Excellent video, many thanks. The "add-ins" is the one I find most useful..... Not sure what I would use #6 Animate Images for though. It seems to be one of those annoying Powerpoint functions that can be easily overused, or used in the wrong way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though :-)

I don't seem to find screen recording on my toolbar. Is there another way I could get it? or a version of PPT that doesn't have it? Thank you! very useful!

Screen recording was added in 2015 to PowerPoint 2013. The download of that version is here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48101. But you should have it already of your PowerPoint is a newer version than that. To be sure you can go to File-Options-Customize Ribbon and select All Commands from the pull down. Look down the list for Screen Recording. If it isn't there then your version does not have it. If it is there you can add it to your menu.

A small suggestion @ 3:28 In case if you don't have Skype for business but if you want to share the ppt online with your colleagues, In file menu-> Share -> Present Video Online. It allows you to upload the ppt to cloud and gives you a link to share it to others. Suggestions are welcome!! :)

There is no way to do it with PowerPoint. Many people have asked for this feature but it still is not available. There is a workaround. Click on Insert-Object and choose Word from the list. That will create a box for Word where you can type text and insert an image. Within the Word box you can right-click on the image and select Wrap Text and then select one of the options for how you want text wrapped around the image. With Word you can do it. By inserting the Word box into PowerPoint you can accomplish the same thing.

PowerPoint for Office 365 will always have the newest updates. Microsoft adds new features to Office first.
