Wow, what a trip in my younger years! I owned and wore most of them, still have many...ET Passion and Sculpture bring back very dear memories...Eau de Rochas and Chopard Heaven are other big hits from those years that are still going strong in my summer rotation

Iv got a good few off these love the older fragrances,also just picked up mancera black gold and I get the same vibe off that newer release the smell takes me back to something I remember when I was young ,,,enjoyed watching thank you

Love me a good cheapie list :) Great descriptions as always. Agua Brava is the only one I have from this list and it's a fave. May have to check out Alt Innsbruck for a start. Not sure if I'll have a chance to pick up many proper frags this year. So far it's been the year of rounding out the shave collection in terms of purchasing the EDC/EDT/EDP versions of the aftershaves (mostly artisan) I've accumulated. That's already put quite a dent in the budget. If I do branch out from the shave world it will almost definitely be a select variety of cheapies. Fantastic opening to the video Dan👍👍. I find my Versace Dreamer a tad soapy on my skin but still pleasant. Sculpture was far too sweet on my skin so gave it to the wife. She loves it. Will definitely be getting Bijan Men, Agua Brava, Alt Innsbruck, and Elizabeth Taylor Passion for men in the near future. I thought Aramis Havane might have made the list also but appreciate you had New West in there already. Great content as always fella, 👍👍

I do have The Dreamer - great & unique, had Lapidus (smells like nappy bags, so gave it away), New West and Eau de Givenchy. The others constitute another Mr Smelly shopping list! I bought 5 in November!….Gucci Absolute, Gallivant Nomad set, Dunhill Absolute and……Lagerfeld Classic- it’s actually a 50ml bottle for £16.48 atm (I’ve got a smaller bottle somewhere), but I won’t be needing more. Also Gallivant Naples 30ml (£25 discount code applied from the Nomad box). I’ll be getting a 100ml of that when it’s back in stock as it’s amazing (my wife not so keen). Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

The Dreamer reminds me of burning sage, like a bundle burning in the dry night air in Delhi. I do wear it to bed as it's so calming.

I love old school cheapies. Obsession is definitely an underrated classic. I even like all the old stuff from Coty.

People are sleeping on New West, stronger than I'd imagined it would be with the EDC concentration labeled on the box and bottle and very interesting. I wore it a decent amount in the summer and it lasted for hours and hours.

In my top 10 films . Saw it on the big screen. The score is amazing 🤩.

Own and LOVE Bijan for Men !! Ted Lapidus TL pour Lui is on my want list. Elizabeth Taylor Passion for Men is really good...underrated gem IMO....as is the women's Passion. I still love CK Obsession for Men as well as Obsession for Women...they actually layer well together !!

I don't think Bijan is an Amber Fougere, and it certainly is not a classic Fougere. I have it in my historical collection. It smells like somewhat astringent, dry grass marinated in lemon juice. Popular Hollywood frag. Very nice list. I have about half of these (don't have the Elizabeth Taylor, Puig, Sculpture, Alt Innsbruck, or the Givenchy). I bought TL Pour Lui about two months ago. Very nice vanilla with some '90's Fougere touches. Aramis New West is the first fragrance with the note of calone, so is therefore an important part of my historical collection as a proto-aquatic. Slightly astringent scent profile. I think of CK Obsession for Men as a "thickened up" classic Old Spice. A Spicy Amber. One of my favorite. I would have added: Paul Sebastian Fine Cologne: 1979, a VERY good performing analogue to classic Old Spice. Closer to Old Spice than Obsession. Tiffany for Men: 1989, discontinued and cost a fortune on ebay. Great scent profile compared to Chanel Pour Monsieur. Gucci Envy: 1996 I think, discontinued and ebay expensive. Great spicy scent and great bottle design. I love the frag, have about 6ml of a 15ml bottle, and have the Dua clone, Covet. Oscar for Men: 1999, VERY strong performing slightly fresher, slightly cruder/old school, "dirty orange" precurser to Terre d'Hermes. Similar the David Beckham Instinct (2005) first release in scent profile too. Oh, and the term "Fougere" is thrown around too much too. Great list. We have similar tastes, but I seem to love the Obsession for Men scent profile (Amber Spicy especially with cinnamon) more than you.

I went to Lidl and bought there own brand men's fragrance. It's called Deep, it's meant to smell like Chanel Bleu, it cost me £4.49 for the bottle. It smelt like old pig bollocks, I wouldn't recommend it.

Mr Smelly my next purchase is now Aramis New West after tonight's review, sounds great

The Dreamer is D&G Pour Homme with a sweeter, less citrusy opening, and a worse dry-down.

I don't know which is worse...the fact I have all but three of these cheapies, or that was sitting here with a bottle of Warsteiner German Pilsner when I turned into your channel. LOL! On a side note, I do the Costco 24 Day Beer Advent calendar every year, and the missus does their Wine Advent Calendar. In a nutshell, each day you get treated to a mystery pint of German Bier, and I back-it-up with another from the fridge...like a Warsterin, Spaten and, depending on the Costco variety, either go pilsner, lager, bock, dunkel, etc. It's great fun. Now, if only I could figure-out why Bijan shaped their bottle like a giant baby rattle. Go figure! Cheers.
