Sea shanties are amazing! I love them personally. And yes! Prince of Egypt has a truly masterful soundtrack! Every note of it is gold, just like the movie it was composed for!

@@WillScarlet16 I think Bluth's worst creations could be partly blamed on studios that only wanted money and plain safe. Bluth was the one who wanted to use dark topics in animated movies, but many weren't ready to take the risk.

You could make an enlargement that the 'terror' of their presence is villainous, in a way. It's certainly not beneficial or neutral to the heroes, who run away out of fright. It only serves the villain for the do-gooders to not be able to solve the mystery -- which they can't do if they're running for their lives. :P

Totally agree with you. While "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" is definitely a classic, its age alone seems to be the reason it one. I certainly deserves to be high on the list for various reasons, but frankly, "Toxic Love" and "In the Dark of the Night" were just better songs, not just musically, but for the way they drew you in to the character and their story.

Oh, just as a quick little fact: The larger the heart, the more efficient a person's circulatory system. Due to this relation, professional athletes' slightly larger cardiac muscle tissue works much less to sustain their bodies, causing very low blood pressure. When blood pressure is low, stress is low. NOW the Grinch is clearly portrayed as someone with a small heart. Since it's so small, it would need to work much harder to sustain him, bringing his blood pressure insanely high, and definitely stressing him out to no end. NO WONDER HE HATES CHRISTMAS!

On The Road is classed as a villain song because one of the villains in the film (there's around 7 of them) is singing it, in total there are 3 villain songs in the film and none of them are very strong, that's one of the problems with having several antagonists in a kids film

In case you have listened to Disney villain songs yet when it comes to non-Disney villains, look no farther. How surprising that today, here on Christmas, perfect example how "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" would be topped at number 1! This song along with "toxic love" and "It's terror time again" are three my favorite non Disney animated villain songs because I watched and grew up with them.

Yes,the early Barbie movies really have some catchy villain songs. I also like: I want it all from Barbie and the secret doors. It's one of the later movies but it's a pretty decent one and that song is hilarious.

I LOVE all of these movies!!! My childhood ♥♥♥ Though I disagree about a few being only "honorable mentions" when they should've been included on the list. The Swan Princess, Anastasia, and The Pebble and the Penguin are epic :D:D:D ahhh lol..."Don't make me laugh" is a fantastic villain song and I always laugh during it even today. XD

I usually don't like translations as much as the originals, but the Brazilian translation of "The Big Boys" from The Prince of Egypt is actually better as they sing "nossos deuses podem mais" ("our gods can [do] more"), which sounds more intimidating that "you're playing with the big boys now."

+yoroshiku I think not, "our gods can do more" sounds like a kid saying "my father is stronger than your father" (just my personal opinion though) while "you're playing with the big boys now" puts Moses directly in opposition with the egyptian gods, which is intimidating
