Slaughterfish from Elderscrolls. They're literally of no threat, but they're enemies and therefore prevent fast travel when near them. Also they're impossible to find.

Youngerhampster I think cliff racers are worse actually. They can show up in groups and sometimes swoop down on you when you're fighting more threatening enemies. Slaughterfish can do that too, but only with swimming enemies like dreugh.

I had a feeling Cazadors would come up. They are so terrifying when you're playing on anything above Easy. Personally I would have put on the Chaingun Guys from Doom 2 - They do far too much damage far too quickly. Or maybe Lost Souls? They're always in the way.

Chaingunners may be the most annoying in vanilla Doom 2 levels, but some mapsets put you in situations where archviles resurrect a buttload of enemies. If you don't play aggressively enough, you may not have enough ammo to take down all the revived monsters!

pwn3d256 And to expand on the Arch-Vile irritation, there's also the fact that their attack is undodgable as long as there's a direct line of sight. Lots of the levels in the Plutonia Experiment expansion for Doom 2 abuse this in their layouts.

Creepers: the most axadurated monster, they don’t do anything interesting other than go boom, it’s pegomastaxes from ark survival evolved that are the most annoying animal ever... they steal everything, and that involves your house, and stuff... everything you own now belongs to them. Then they give it to your biggest enemy so he can slaughter you over and over, then the pegomastax will make sure you never get your stuff back.

Screechers from my favourite RPG series. They're like Zubats as you encounter them a lot, but much worse as they make loud annoying noises and use the pickpocket spell to steal your money and healing items.

Creepers might actually be the scariest enemy in minecraft. Why? Cuz they are silent! The creepers are mobs that i like to call. *the silent assasin.* just imagine you inside a cave. Wondering around, hoping to find some diamonds with your iron pickaxe. And after like 50 minutes of searching for diamond, You finally found some! But right as you start to mine the last diamond. A fuse will go of behind your back, ready to spell your death, with your items!

Lrod Shrek Do you even english "Lrod"? The thing about the Crawltipede is that it only attacks if you're in the air. But of course, on the ground, EVERYTHING ELSE wants you dead. Plus there's nothing TELLING you about that gimmick so the Crawltipede will be all over you like shingles. Once I unlocked the best yoyo in the game, the "Terrarian" from the Moon Lord... AND a Stardust Dragon... I learned to kick their a$$. Still annoying since you can ONLY DAMAGE IT ON ONE PLACE.

the chainsaw guys from resident evil 4 used to always stress me out untill i found out the strategy intended for them is to shoot them with the shotgun and while they're on the ground to knife them, then if they start getting back up you shotgun them again and knife them, rinse repeat. theyre super weak to the knife. now theyre a breeze :D

Andrew Purvis Those guys are annoying as hell. because of how much health they have, it takes a while to kill them and when they're chasing you, you've gotta run until you're far away to shoot them from a distance and their chainsaw is such a strong weapon that automatically, you'll die immediately once they get you. i did the same thing and used the shotgun+knife combination to my advantage but man, are they hard to get through

My top ten: 10 to 1: Creepers! Creepers that always manages to blow me and my stuff up regardless of how careful I am! And the trees... How many times I got stuck in a tree trying to flee an ennemy and got killed trying to free myself from it! And while I'm at it maybe Ghasts? They're rather easy to kill with an enchanted bow but yeah... Chuchus also? They're not annoying by themselves but in BotW they seems to appear at the most inappropriate moment and I just get so mad at them! I would put Navi and Find from OoT and SS but they aren't ennemies. They're annoying as fuck though!

Lrod Shrek yeah, but medusas are Pre-Hardmode, so you could be peacefully exploring a cave with a crappy wooden sword, and then you get stunned, followed by death.

People say staying on the ground works. But that causes other problems.

The snipers from Arkham Origins. In every previous game you only have to take them out once and then they disappear but in Origins they keep respawning and they are almost one hit kills and impossible to dodge. I haven't played Arkham Knight however I think it's been fixed as I've seen a few gameplay videos and there don't seem to be any snipers.

Ever play Descent 1? By Parallax? Medium drillers. The steel-silver enemies that make a horrific shrill scraping sound right before peppering you with vulcan cannon shots before you can even turn around and figure out where you're getting shot from! They start appearing in a maze full of death-traps of them by level 6, and continue to be spammed through the REST OF THE GAME! That's my addition.

If you play the Sun's Song, it paralyzes the redeads and gibdos. You can also sneak pass them by walking slow or, supposedly, wearing the iron boots. I always just play the Sun's Song.

Cazadors are only a threat early on; a decent shotgun or SMG dispatches them very quickly. Not to mention the OWB heartless perk, which makes you immune to poison...

I honestly think the most annoying enemy in video games is the imp from Doom 2016. I know they are an easy kill if you have a good arsenal, but if you are fighting other bigger enemies like a mancubus, it's pretty annoying trying to fight while having fireballs chucked at you in the process.

All of the ver2 & 3 enemies of Crypt of the necrodancer. Now, this would be fine as any other character, but if you're trying to beat Aria's campaign, whether it be for the story or for the completion, they can be a real nuisance. You see, Aria starts with a dagger and can only use that dagger. The dagger can only attack up close, and for 1 damage meaning you need extra items in order to 1-shot them. You need to 1-shot them because on the second time around trying to kill them, they're gonna kill you since Aria dies in 1 hit. Also, confusion lich's, in the same game in the same scenario. They confuse you into moving the wrong way meaning you could walk into the enemy you're trying to kill, walk into bombs, or walk into a wall you can't dig, which for no reason at all kills you.

I wonder if anyone else picked up that the Malboro from FF8 might be referencing Marlboro cigarettes? I know that in the Japanese language, "boro" is onomatopoeia and meant to represent the sound of an upset stomach, while "mal" means "sickness", but here in America, Marlboro cigarettes have been a part of pop culture for decades, and since the Malboro monster spews toxic fumes, and has the "Bad Breath" special attack, that could be the English translation team referencing common side effects of smoking.

Personally, I think the most annoying video game enemies are the bolt-butterfly looking things in Alice:Madness Returns. The follow you around and cling to you (literally), making you practically unable to walk until you teleport. And because of how (kind of) small they are, and because they're flying around, they aren't easy to hit.

The Zin Troops in Saints Row IV. Unlike in 2 where gangs stop attacking you if you own a hood or in Third where you can enter any building you own to wipe notoriety, the troops will keep attacking you until Notoriety faded or you defeat a CID Commander. The problem is, you are guaranteed to keep raising your notoriety if you use powers to get away, as they cause a LOT of Mayhem. And halfway through the game they, along with simulations of old gangs, will start attacking you until you finish a mission I didn't realize existed until I looked up why I was getting so pounded. Don't even get me started on the Murderbots XD

I actually found an exploit for Dark Link. I just use the thrust attack from the Biggoron's Sword. For some reason, if you do it, he doesn't dodge or block, and takes a huge amount of damage. The only annoying thing is the fact that with each hit, he teleports and you have to lock onto him again, but if you do that, it's really easy no matter which version you play.

My most annoying enemy is..... PIKMIN 2'S GATTLING GROINK!!!!! You have to attack it from the back and when you finally kill it after 200 years it will slowly come back to life and not to mention they are randomly patrolling the area
