I’m from Japan. And I feel jealous for African peoples passion, smooth but powerful movement. Hats off. I think we are so different maybe were at opposite both ends. Our culture tries to find importance in “silence””being still””complete blank”, and I do like my japanese culture,but.......sometimes I dream about being like you guys. Really cool. There's ABSOLUTELY no way African ways and, most of all, dances can ever ever ever be lost; because everything in Africa and everything African is MUSIC and DANSE from birth, family meeting and feast, birthday, religious or traditional ceremonies of ALL kinds, marriage, funeral, party, and etc. Most American and Latin music is straight-copied from or is inspired by one of the zillions traditional or modern African musical genres.
