I remember the Bowser fight of New Super Mario Bros Wii being the highlight of the game. Just when you think youve beaten the game he comes out a giant and starts destroying everything while you try to run for your life while trying not to fall in the lava below. One by one my friends would die until at last one of us made it to the end switch. It was an epic moment with my friends.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 is arguably one of my favourite Mario games like ever. I played it when I was eight and I know the controls really well. PS - I'm described as a family friendly video game master because I know how to crack the system on Super Mario Galaxy. I wish I could post a comedic adventure video of me playing that game. It'll be #AWESOME!
My favorite is Super Mario 3D Land. Something about running through a course while Bowser is destroying everything in your path is quite appealing to me.
I am not surprised the Mario World Bowser fight made it as number 1. I AM surprised that none of the RPG battles made it. The final Bowser fight from Paper Mario, Bowser & Kammy from Thousand Year Door, hell even Giant Dreamy Bowser and Dreamy Bowser from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team were awesome! And yet Giant Dreamy Bowser only gets an honorable mention.

It took a good chunk of my childhood to defeat bowser in super Mario world. I’ve found it much easier to defeat him in later games. I’m glad a few classic battles made it to the top 10

New Super Mario Bros Wii has the best Bowser fight in the Mario franchise hands down. I don't think any other battle could have been more epic than that.
3D World wins for me. That fight was so unique, intense, challenging, and thrilling that it easily takes the number one spot for me, and is one of my favorite final bosses ever.
I like to think that before every battle bowser repeats the bad guy oat: I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be then me.
I know this may sound kinda ironic coming from a Mario fan such as myself, but I actually enjoyed the final boss fight against Wart from SMB2 a lot more than I did the final boss fight against Bowser from SMB3, mainly because you aren't dodging attacks until the boss kills himself, and the ending is totally worth checking out despite the fact that the adventure turned out the to be a dream. (Then again, SMB3 supposedly takes place in the form of a play, so who really cares about that?)
+Casey Decker The Wart battle was pretty good and it took me much longer to master SMB2. Also, the music that plays after you save the subcon is pretty epic.

Samuel Machale No, because I had Thousand Year Door and in it was one of the most jerkish Bowser battles ever where you battle Bowser and Kammy Koopa after battling Grodus *WITHOUT HEALING!* I'm glad I got rid of it, I dodged a bullet and I never want to experience it at all.
Dude....Rainbow Bowser in Super Mario 64 was iconic!!! To get enough stars to get up those never ending stairs felt like such a challenge for a young boy. You reach the final pipe in the sky and jump in it. The organ music that greets you was haunting and Bowsers rainbow colors catch your eye. You realize as soon as the fight starts that he is way stronger and faster than before and his fire attacks can consume the whole battlefield. You manage to grab him by the tail and heave him into a bomb. Hurray!!!! Its over!!!! Well....nope, he gets right back up. You realize then that you have to do it 3 times. After successfully throwing him into 2 bombs, the stage the crumbles before you as Bowser flys into a fit of rage. The stage takes the shape of a star and it becomes much more difficult to throw Bowser into a bomb because of the distance between them and the stage. You eventually time it right and say so long Bowser as he blows up a final time and disappears into the sky leaving behind the biggest star you've ever seen. Classic....
I have to say Yoshi's Island final battle takes number 1, combining a 3d element on a 2d SNES system with the epic soundtrack. Aside from that, the others were pretty good choices.
I agree with both but my favourite out of the two is new super mario bros wii cause it has amazing music in its battle. It makes you feel this is truly the final battle. Super Mario 3D World also has good music in its battle but its not as good as NEW Super Mario Bros Wii
Now I know some people would think that Cat Bowser is super silly, but seeing him climbing up that building with a storm raging in the background and that epic music. It makes a big difference.
Although the 64 battle music is best, my personal fav is the second Bowser battle in Super Mario Galaxy. The Dark Moon level has you fight hand to hand, and is quite challenging. Never before was fighting Bowser actually like combat, and it was oh so glorious!
No Dark Bowser battle? I know the enemy is not really Bowser, but YOU are Bowser and it is still considered a Bowser fight. In my eyes, Bowser's Inside Story final boss battle is #1.
@@omnipixilgaming5340 its my favorite game of all time too, it has been ever since it came out. I must've beaten Dark Bowser 20+ times and it still never gets old.
I wonder where the Bowser fight from Odyssey falls, and would be called. My personal name for it "Hats off to You." & I believe it's the best Bowser battle , especially with that twist at the end!! It's one of the key reasons why Odyssey is the greatest Mario game!!
Great list, although I personally think the battle Meowser deserves to be higher up on the list... but I really like cats, and Bowser. And really, no Paper Mario battles? I think we need an updated list soon ;)
I feel Sunshine was worth more than an honorable mention, perhaps the environment just wasn't menacing enough. The music neither. SMW and SMW2 had some of the most badass scenery and music for a final fight. It's like you knew that the shit got real.
