Tera Gallade would've been nasty in our league. It's already a menace now, imagine what it would be doing with tera. Sad to hear you hate goodra-hisui 😂
Tera Goodra-H was a menace since we had tera blast banned haha it’s coverage moves made that really good offensively but it could also just use a nice blanket defensive typing to give an easy switch in and force things out with acid sprays. I loved using it as a tera captain haha
@@Tysadowoodo yeah I completely understand why it was made 10+ pointer. It's typing is already really strong as it is, but being able to get rid of your weakness and adjusting to your current opponent would make it a menace to deal with. That's why you pick it up so you don't have to face it 🤣🤣
@@knixknox1356 yeah exactly! It wasn’t as offensively pressuring as Pano’s Lilligant-H tera captain. That thing was nuts! But I didn’t really need goodra to do that since I had insane offense already with Palafin, Meowscarada, Volcanion, Annihilape, Thundy. So goodra just gave me some bulk to fall back into
In a free tera format, I think Hariyama is really solid and versatile. In a stab/1 coverage format, I think Lucario and Breloom both have a lot of offensive pressure since they utilize their stab tera really well and really only need one coverage tera type to shine
@@knixknox1356 yup! In a 1/1 format, you can go tera steel meteor mashes or Tera normal e speed and that’s so good for a low point mon. Breloom is in the same boat with Tera fighting technician Mach punches and then Tera rock for rock tombs (and resistances are nice for it’s typing). Rock/grass/fighting covers quite a bit offensively
I am a year late, but this is a really good list. Surprised to not see Enam-T or Diancie on there. At least with Diancie, I've had some insane games with it including lead 6-0s with calm mind/Diamond Storm + Rock Polish and Draining Kiss/Moonblast or slap a weakness policy. Draining Kiss genuinely acts as amazing recovery for it, usually it heals back more than it does % wise + tera fairy gives it 60BP on Draining Kiss. Can trick room or just Polish Meteor beam, gets spikes and rocks, e.t.c. Nat dex gives it access to Heal Bell so it isnt too weak to its own toxic. Earth Power coverage is super nice for it. Enamorus is one I haven't used yet but it seems pretty similar, more HP but slightly less defenses (calced and it takes significantly more damage) though with more longetivity due to higher special attack. Long story short bc I nerded out but use Diancie, and a good pick in nat dex for a super low tier that I feel people are ignoring is Aurorus, first time I drafted it for 4 points and I believe it got 25 kills.
@@whacker01 after playing a few Gen 9 formats I’ve definitely found myself preferring lower tier Tera cap leagues, and honestly leagues that ban a lot of the mons I listed in this video haha. In a 1-19 point tier system, somewhere in the 7-8point range as the highest allowable captain I think is the right balance with this mechanic, and diancie is a super strong pick in those tiers!
