I think Bart’s Ferrini is a reference to the episode where Mr Burns adopts Bart. In the episode at one point we see Bart driving a red supercar given by Mr Burns
I like how Homer’s custom built car is mentioned on the list with its trademark horn. Fun fact: In the episode where Homer is called upon by his half brother to assist with the design, he requests 3 horns playing La Cucaracha, stating that “you can never find a horn when you’re mad”.
70s sports car is my favourite because of it's stats and when used in other levels, such as bart or marge's levels you drive around with homer and his funny quotes
My personal top ten favorite cars: 10. Malibu Stacy Car: Obviously when you compare it to the complete range of cars it's not that great, but for getting it as your starter vehicle in level three, it's unrivaled. It's easily the best car in Lisa's entire level and it stays viable all the way through Marge's level. It's really not until Apu's level that the Malibu Stacy Car is outclassed. 9. El Carro Loco: I really think this car is underrated. It only stays viable for level five because by the time level six rolls around, you have access to better vehicles, but for the time you spend playing as Apu this car really gets the job done well. It also looks hilarious and has that loud squeaky air horn. 8. Car Built for Homer: It's got great stats, it's tougher than most cars of its speed and handling, and it's just so funny looking with its big bubble cockpit and La Cucaracha horn. 7. Ferrini - Red: One of the best starting vehicles in the game, it's fast and agile, and has five star handling which makes it a lot of fun to drive through heavily trafficked areas of the game. Speeding around other cars and obstacles it a cinch with this thing. 6. Chase Sedan: It has the second-highest combined stats of any car in the game, only behind the Hearse. The Chase Sedan is really fast with great acceleration and handling, and it's got three star toughness, which is loads better than most vehicles of comparable speed and handling. It's surprisingly useful in destroy objectives and can take out most targets. Plus it has the allure of being a mysterious vehicle after all the times it appeared as an enemy car in both Lisa's level and Marge's level. 5. 70's Sports Car: Not only is it really fucking fast and maneuverable, but it's also a starter vehicle, which is wild because of how great its performance is. I love that Homer refers to it as his "secret weapon" in the end of the sixth level when he and Bart race Kang and Kodos to the Duff brewery. 4. Open Wheel Race Car: With the best speed, acceleration, and handling of any car save for the Speed Rocket, this vehicle is an absolute beast. However it is ridiculously delicate which makes it difficult to use in certain missions when slamming into obstacles or other vehicles is unavoidable. Still, it's just so fast and so nimble that it's one of the most fun cars to drive. 3. Hearse: This vehicle has the highest combined stats of any car in the game. It's fast, it's maneuverable, it's a hell of a lot tougher than most cars of its performance. You really can't go wrong with the Hearse. You don't get it until the final level but it's always the first thing I buy. 2. Ferrini - Black: Everything about Bart's Ferrini - Red but better. It has better top speed and better acceleration, with equally good handling. Unfortunately it can only be driven by achieving 100% game completion and then using the all_cars cheat, but it's still an absolute blast to drive. It also feels really cool because it's a mysterious alien car. 1. Snake's Bandit: Something about the Bandit makes it feel more powerful than the sum of its stats. I don't know if I'm just imagining it or if it's rose colored glasses because Snake is my favorite character in the Simpsons, but the Bandit feels like it's the best combination of speed, acceleration, and handling of any car in the game. There's nothing I can't accomplish when driving the Bandit. Also, having Snake in the car and hearing his dialogue is hilarious. Honorable mentions go to Professor Frink's Hover Car because it's super cool and unique. The stats are great but it's tendency to slide horribly keeps it off my top ten. The Speed Rocket secret car from Homer's level because it's even faster than the Open Wheel Race Car, but it's just as delicate and it has a really awful hitbox from being so long and narrow. And Bart's Honor Roller because it was my favorite vehicle when I played the game as a child.
I think if they do a remaster of this game they should replace the reward you get for collecting all of the cards from being an itchy and scratchy episode to a full open world level where you can just select a character and play with all of the 3 level maps connected. Also, with the whole cancelling of Apu thing I'd be curious how they handle level 5.
Did you know that originally, Level 6 was also gonna have a different Hit And Run pursuit vehicle like Level 7 (only with Level 6 having Chase Sedans chasing you)
Tip about the cars that have a higher acceleration stars then more speed: If you hold the drive key and the reverse key at the same time you can create a burnout, as soon as you see the fire on your tires release the reverse and watch your car fly and pick up its speed instantly! (if doing this correctly you should see your lights flickering) (the reverse lights and the brake lights) The Chase Sedan is perfect for this trick! since it has higher acceleration then it's speed
Quite agree with everything, but was surprised when I saw Tractor in HM, from my experience it was one of the worst handling ever. Also no place for Malibu Stacy? Otherwise it's great. Happy to see car for Homer so high.
Malibu Stacy Car is absolutely based for how early you get it. Easily the best car in the Lisa level and honestly it's still one of the best in Marge's level. It doesn't start to fall off until Apu's level.
First off, I gotta say upon finding your channel, I have felt nothing but nostalgia watching all your great videos of this game. Keep up the supreme work! I'm so happy to see someone actually bring this game back and make it relevant on RU-vid. Secondly, as odd as it sounds, all about the nostalgia, the family sedan is my go-to car because I never got past the first level until months after first playing the game, because I was too busy just messing around in that level. That car has the most memories for me by far in this game.
My personal favourite is: *Speed:* 70's Sports Car It's a freaking Plymouth Barracuda how can I not love it? I always love the design of it and it's really fast. *Destroy:* Mr. Plow The reason I love this car is because it packs a punch, BUT it doesn't handle like a boat, it feels good to drive it unlike bus, cola truck, etc. *Carnage:* Fire Truck It's heavy and the biggest driveable car in the game, no car is more perfect to ram into numerous oncoming traffic to me. *Sentimental:* Electaurus I dunno, but kid me really love it and I still do for no apparent reason. *NPC:* 200SX and FC RX7 I'm a JDM fan.
Hi, quite good list. As a dude who passed this game much much times i can say Ferrini Red is probably best car out of all of them. Best handling of all cars, not super sick fast like 70s car which makes it quite easier to control. The car also finishes jobs like wrecking any cars. Can wreck even cola truck with him with no problem because his handling, speed and when you learn how to push a car into some walls and object damage will be done. Other than that perfect list.... I would just put Curator in the honorable mentions. It is way better than any car you have in that point of game.
How could you not include Mr. Plow?!? You can get it so early in lvl 2, and the speed and toughness are amazing! And the compact design helps to control, and get through tighter areas! I remember using it so often back in the day, so I can't believe it didn't even get an honorable mention!
Watch Wilson For Level 3, maybe. But not recommended for higher levels. Speedrunners only use the Mr. Plow truck only for Level 2 and Level 3. Marge’s Canyonero is a destroying vehicle with 2.5 star speed and 1.5 star acceleration. That means for Level 5, the Mr. Plow truck is a big challenge, trust me. It’s not easy to try.
Snake's one of my favorite characters from the Simpsons, and getting to drive his badass car in this game was awesome. I used his car as much as I could
Gonna take a moment to shout out the Mr Plow. Any car I unlock in level 2 that I still use in destroy missions in level 4 deserves some recognition in my book.
A sequel to the game would be phenomenal. They could add more characters, levels, cars, locations, improved graphics, game mechanics, more indoor areas and maybe even the implementation of equitable items. All of this combined with a new and improved story line could have the potential to be a very successful game.
I definitely agree with your choices. Though, I never really thought to use Mr. Burns' Limo before. I guess that mission from Level 1 really left an impression on me.
This was a really good list. I admit that I haven't extensively tried all of the cars on the list for myself, but the ones that I have I definitely have positive feelings about. Also, I had a quick question. In general, what stats do you think are the most useful for the cars in-game? They're all good, obviously, but which do you take into account the most?
What sucks about the lvl 7 cars is that you can only use them in 3/7 missions, because you gotta use the zombie car, frinks car, snakes car, and grandpa's jeep
5:34- Bart actually gets his driving license when he saves the town from catching fire by making fire extinguishers as jets on the back of a wagon to imitate a jet car. I'm aware that this game would of been out years before the episode, but you know... Possibilities I guess XD
My personal favourite is the WW2 Jeep with rocket that is used in the final mission. I even completed the game only using that car as a challenge, very fun car to drive.
Ok Hear me out...the elctracus is really easy to drive, I think it’s the fastest car you have right up to level 3, and eventually Lisa drives it with you!
Honestly, the Electaurus is the best car in the first level and it's still one of the best cars in the second level. The only two cars in level two that I'd say rival the Electaurus are Moe's sedan and the Honor Roller.

My favourite's gotta be the Bandit. It looks cool, has decent stats and when Snake's driving, it's even more fun to drive due to the stuff he says. The Hover Car's also best enjoyed when Frink's driving, as some of the stuff he says is hilarious, same with the Kremlin and Comic Book Guy.
Family Sudan will always be my favourite, its such a classic and a joy to have for the time that it is useful, always makes me hang out in level 1 with it
I’m really glad you put the hearse as number 1. Easily the best design for a car in the game. I remember when I first got a hit and run in level 7 and was just like “oh fuck” when the hearses showed up instead of the standard police car. Needless to say I lost a lot of coins in level 7...

To be fair, the police car was a sight for sore eyes after Levels 1-4. I used it for a lot of missions since it has super consistent stats/handling, including Never Trust A Snake. Just my opinion but I’d place it my Top 10. And I agree, I hate the zombie car and how fragile + slippery it is. Great video!
It's funny how you addressed the "controversy" of putting the Open Wheel Race Car at #4 instead of #1 and I wouldn't even put it in my Top 10. It's way too fragile.
Fun Fact: Frink's Hovercar has a weird thing, in the PC version, where it lacks the refraction effect and is only transparent. However, there's a tweak included in Lucas' Simpsons Hit & Run Mod Launcher that allows you to restore the effect that was used in the Xbox version.
I guess this one doesn't really count because you can only access it by using a cheat code after you get 100% game completion, but the Black Ferrini is one of the best cars in the game. It's basically just Bart's Red Ferrini but with higher top speed and higher acceleration.
Oh, not sure if this was already said, but in your honorable mentions, you said the Clown Car was bought from Gil in Level 4, when it was actually the reward for winning all 3 street races in Level 4. The one bought from Gil is Krusty's Limo. But they look almost the same that its easy to mix them up, so I understand.
I like the curator because of its balance, it’s not objectively that good, but i like the look and feel which end up getting me from point a to point b faster than your average 4 to 5 star late game vehicle
No offense but the globlex super villain car is awesome. One of my favorites and it's got good stats. But you are right about it being wide. God that sucks.
Ferrini and Bandit will be always in my heart ❤️ I don't know really which of them I prefer, but first them, then the others. 🙂 BTW: I think Bandit and 70' Sport (is that name of the Homer's second car?) are the same quality.
Weird I used the Starter car for levels 1-4 and then stopped, kinda weird that level 5-7 starter cars are some of the best but that is where I stopped using the starter cars

Police car is surely one of the best, for me it made level 5 races easy especially the circuit and checkpoint ones which im sure most will agree these races were hard
