THE PROG CORNER'S TOP 10 COMFORT ALBUMS: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-49--EXiR9zg.html I meant to say "She's A Rainbow", not "Ruby Tuesday" for the Stones album I talk about. SAYING GOODBYE TO MY CANADIAN STUDMUFFIN CHANNEL: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eoD7ZMNUUkI.html I've lost monetization on my main channel Canadian Studmuffin which I've had for over 18 years with no reason given for what I've done wrong. If anyone would like to donate I would really appreciate it: paypal.me/canadianstudmuffin I rely on income from RU-vid to help pay my bills as I no longer work due to health issues. I was on disability but that ended in early 2023 when I turned 65. Another way to help out is to join my Patreon song and album requests channel at www.patreon.com/LarryGraves (free one week trial) or become a Member of this channel for $2 per month here: ru-vid.com/show-UCGzSKxHp_5itY9MMtpLJUxAjoin I can't reapply for monetization until Sept. 15th. but I think my main channel is done, so I will only be uploading new videos here. P.S I've received a lot of kind words and donations and I truly thank everyone for their help! Thank you to the following viewers who have donated, given Super Chats or become a Patreon member. If I have missed anyone who helped out please let me know your name is missing: Robert Schmidt, Graeme Rumgay, Joerg Haberkorn, Evan Shear, Zackattack1001, outonthetiles, Trevor Osborne, Gary Wilkerson, Jacqueline Schroeder, Andy Hruska, Kenneth Picha, DonDronesOn, Matthew Street, Dean Ives, Todd Jumper, Michael Noland, Tammy Ziegler, Rick Moyer, Christopher Lake, No Man's Project Studios, Dean Ives, Jo Sieger, Sherri Paterson, Tim Ramirez, Comedy Wire Inc., Andy Hruska, Carl Dever, EW Roberts, David Beckwith, Beatley Tone's Beatles Channel, Joel Reisteter. New Patreons and upgrades: Michael Noland, Andy Pear, Christophe Paris, mwlvyn, Terry, Mitchell Befefiel, Volhosis, Siddharth Singh and Joshua Cole.

In Rainbows by Radiohead, and X&Y by Coldplay, are the two albums which give me most comfort - a mixture of nostalgia and the overall vibe of the albums

Larry, I'm going to go off the beaten path for my choices for my favorite comfort albums: Tee Vee Toons' series of albums entitled Television's Greatest Hits, Volumes 1-7, plus Tee Vee Toons: The Commercials. The albums are compilations of TV theme songs from the 1950s-1990s, and the Commercials album is self-explanatory. These albums never fail to relax me, no matter how stressful the day has been. I love all kinds of music, but these are my go-to albums for relaxation.

I always find comfort in Hounds of Love by Kate Bush, and Tidal by Fiona Apple. Others include Under the Pink by Tori Amos, Bjork's Post, and Sparks A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing, and finally The Milk-Eyed Mender by Joanna Newsome. It's good to see you back on track, Larry. Keep on keepin' on!

My comfort experiences include: George Harrison: All Things Must Pass Connected with me at 19. Love most of the album! The Snowman, Opus [symphonic work] No. 323 (tone poem composed by English composer Howard Blake): A British animated television special with pantomime, pastels and music [with a companion performance version for storyteller, orchestra and boy soprano] (on Spotify)], this work of art is made for the inner child in mind. The emotions kick in when I hear the start of the score, yearning for a simple period of life. Because of my Christian values, it is also a sign of being a morally different [or mature] person. Generally aimed at younger children, the experience can be appreciated at different learning levels during the December months, and as an inner child myself, I have loved it since before I started schooling [preschool days]. Simon and Garfunkel: Bookends A desert island album for me, including "Overs." Stunning concept from childhood to growing older! Elvis Costello/Burt Bacharach: Painted From Memory Some people do not like this album at all, but my father has loved it since the album came out. That's all for now.

Great choices. King Of America is so good and he needed to make that album then. Seemed like his creative muse had abandoned him with the previous 2 albums. No Other is a stone cold classic to my ears. I need more Lou Reed in my life. I have Rock n Roll Animal but want more studio stuff. I'd recommend Tim Buckley's Happy Sad album from 1969. It's a great Sunday morning listen

You may also enjoy the first solo album by Can member Holger Czukay, Movies from 1979. Also the first Eurythmics album In The Garden from 1981 includes Jaki Liebezeit and Holger Czukay from Can and sounds a bit like a Can album too. They also appear in the music video to Never Gonna Cry Again by Eurythmics. I let myself become inspired and put on Song Of Seven by Jon Anderson. I have always enjoyed that album but it's not an album I listen to too much anymore. The only song I may skip is the first track, and I just did it again as I was listening to it, but the rest of the album is a nice listening experience for me too. Often when something bad happens it's to make room for something better to unfold that is not yet revealed. From my own experience through life several misfortunes has turned into blessings as time passes. I hope it will for you too. I don't usually remember too much of dreams I have, but I did dream about you a couple of nights ago. I wasn't planning on having you in my dreams, it just happened.
