The theory that Belle has Stockholm syndrome makes sense since she didn't like him at first, but ended up falling in love with him during her time held captive
About being 17 years old and falling in love with the beast his 40s isn't far-fetched because I'm pretty sure there are other stories in which young women fell in love with much older men. The one that comes to mind is Abigail Williams, a 16-year-old, falling in love with John Proctor, an older married man, in the Crucible
In the animated movie, isn't the beast like 11 when he's cursed? Him being Chip's father is pretty much physically impossible. In the live action movie, there's a better chance as the beast was an adult then.
It's actually not physically impossible, considering he could've his puberty early (especially since he was a royal, and likely expected to marry very very early and provide an heir), possibly as early as 8 or 9. But I do agree it's improbable.
@@amnesiapilot7367 If Chip hadn't aged since being cursed and he was at least 5 years old then, the Beast would have been like 6 when Chip was born. That's why it's physically impossible for him to be the father. At 11, possible, but not at 6. Boys aren't even producing the necessary swimmers at that age.
We can't justify these old classics with modern day psychology. Back in the time people used to be simple and has no knowledge about mental health. Disney movies were made to fulfill the thirst of fantasy/fairy tale without much critical thinking.
I honestly believe that Adam was young when cursed and the painting wasn't him as an adult but his father when he was younger. The anger that caused him to destroy the painting could have been due to his fathers inability to help reverse the curse or just that he felt abandoned by his father since we never get an explanation as to where his parents went. The only plausible explaination is that the painting was someone's idea of how Adam would look as an adult. We do this all the time with ourselves and it isn't that far fetched there'd be that curiosity back then either. His anger could have been more fear that he'd never get to see himself grow up to look like his human self.
saying how belle and maurice are out of the time loop means the castle is in a time loop as well as the village. Someone in a different video said the castle may have been right next to the village. Meaning the castle, the beast, and all the servants were in a time loop as well as the rest of the village.
The theory that chip is the prince's illegitimate son is kind of messed up. In order for the prince to be chips dad that would have meant the enchantress would have seduced a 12 year old boy and chips mother had other children he was just her youngest
beasts got some Stockholm syndrome bachelor going on and if they can't find true love together they eat them cause nobody remembers it so how are they getting food? and it was a lot of it if I remember correctly and they also eat the dad and for all we know her mom could've been killed like that because I don't remember the mom talked about or she's the enchantress but it would be a survival game like squid game but bachelor and the weird firry dating show but jokes on her because he actually is a beast and I wonder if enchantress gives him the anatomy of one because he is kinda like a lion but I think mixed with a werewolf lol makes me wonder if Disney used the same tactics for dating and didn't even know what Stockholm syndrome is and kept girls like that but made them dress like every Disney princess
Stockholm Syndrome? I thought Belle had Gold Digger syndrome. Morale of the story? No matter what the looks, if he has a castle and an army of servants, you can still "love" him.
