Top 10 Digimon Who SHOULD Digivolve Into Each Other... But Don't?! 

Tiny correction because I'm sure some people will care for some reason: to clarify, Digimon like Baluchimon were revealed/announced for the Z II in October of last year but the Z II itself released March/April this year. Digimon having different debut dates to the actual release dates of devices they first appear in makes researching just that much more difficult lol

Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee the Impmom and Buchiemon connection. It makes so much sense.

I think Petaldramon could be Sunflowmons Digivolution. They look very similar. They have the petals around their heads and they have a long body with a root as a Tail. And both are adorable 😍😂

The one that doesn't make sense to me is Eyesmon and Shademon. They look so alike, now I know, while they are both Champion level, it could have been a slide evolution or they could have made Eyesmon into an Ultimate.

That 1 dislike is from an impmon who got offended by the idea of evolving to bucchimon

I have a Dark Theory, While I was looking for things to 3d print and came across a coffin. It just happened to be in the color of yellow and was identical in shape to a Digimon Crest. I would have put the thought out of my head but then I remembered that at least one notable coffin and digimon crest are connected in the form of Myotismon supposedly hiding Kari's Light Crest in his coffin. Another connection is that the reason Gennai the last of the digimon/digivice makers is alone because all his friends were killed by Piedmon. It's possible that Gennai made the crests in the shape of coffins in effigy to represent his fallen comrades.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one who thinks they did Guardromon dirty. I like to imagine a line where instead of Guardromon getting more sleek and compact they made him bulkier.

Nice to see Guardromon and Blimpmon on this list. They just recently released the official images of Frozomon, a perfect-level from the vital bracelet's ice chip. Obviously it's not an evolution of Guardromon since the champion machine isn't on that chip but would be interesting to imagine a Guardromon being able to adapt to different enviroments and evolve accordingly. A Guardromon in cold regions evolving to Frozomon and another stacioned on a Cannonbeemon could evolve to Blimpmon. It would be nice to see these kind of progression with logical and visual similarities. Great video!

It's too bad Meramon's line stays consistent up until his Mega level, going from the fire theme over to the Electric Boltmon. A better Mega could be some sort of Wickerman-esqe Fire Titan or something. As for Boltmon, I think it would be fitting if they had Hagurumon paired up with a Tamer, and as it gradually gains a sense of self, and more human emotions, it becomes more and more human-like, going from Guardromon to Andromon to Boltmon. It's also a bit strange that Floramon's line goes to Kiwimon and usually Blossomon, when Floramon to Vegiemon to Blossomon actually makes sense visually.

Nice Idea karn honestly this reminds me of digimon dawn on the ds where some of the really obvious digivolutions have to be done through DNA digivolving like kotemon can't directly digivolve into musyamon even though there both samurai inspired :)

For me, we have Dinohumon (dinosaur champion) and SlashAngemon (Angel Mega). But the Ultimate Level is... Kyukimon. A pink cat with Scyther arms. Yet Grademon doesn't digivolve into or from either both of the mentioned above. Put Dinohumon, Grademon and SlashAngemon side by side, and they look like a perfect Digivolution family... but are not.

I actually had an idea for an Impmon to Armor Digivolve to Bucchimon for this story I was kinda working on.

I really like LoaderLiomon to Leopardmon or HeavyLeomon personally. Another one I'm a fan of is Spinomon as Ankylomon's Mega. Though at the same time, no idea who would be the Ultimate there.

A Digivolution line I would like to see is for Tactimon! And I honestly think Duskmon and Generamon (A Digimon that only has a pixelated design but is supposed to be a male Japanese warrior) would fit perfectly for its digivolution line.

One digivolution that made sense to me was that Dracomon should digivolve into Airdramon, but he doesn't for some dumb reason.

Here’s one: Stingmon can technically digivolve to Dinobeemon without having to jogress with ExVeemon, but DinoBeemon can’t digivolve to BanchoStingmon.

On the topic of retconning Blimpmon from a champion to an ultimate for Guardromon, you should do a video on other Digimon that you think should be retconned into a different stage evolution. Whether it be because they make sense as evolutions for other digimon of the same stage or just cause they fit another stage’s mold better. Right off the top of my head for me is Parrotmon, everything about him screams champion for me. Champions are usually rather simple concepts but still good looking digimon, which I think Parrotmon fits perfectly. As an ultimate though he’s underwhelming, as ultimates typically have a bit more complexity to their designs. Even if you look at its first fight with Greymon, it looks right at home as a fight between equals rather than Greymon fighting an ultimate!

I know you pointed this one out in a previous video but Bacomon to Omekamon. That one makes a lot of sense as well as Ekakimon. Or even Ekakimon Jogress with Bacomon to make Omekamon

Poor tapirmon finally gets a proper digivolutuon designed specifically for it and doesn't even get to use it, being one of my favorites that just hurts. What makes this really bizarre is its not like its just one digimon, judging by the concept art they seem to have at least two lineages planned, one for baluchimon as a pure form, and one for mimicmon and manticormon as corrupted forms. A lot of thought was put into it. Why do I get the feeling "different design philosophies" is code for lack of communication. It doesn't feel like designers have much say in how their creations are used.

my thing with Impmon is that sure Wizardmon etc are cool and all but like Impmon and Beelzemon work together and you can see how one became the other, that said the champion and ultimate options...just like they don't fit imo. Devimon maybe but then you have to go through Skullsatamon which just seems out of place. Like I just want Impmon to finally get a proper throughline that slowly builds up the biker vibe

I like to see Lillymon and Lilamon Digivolve to Crusadermon. I saw the new Digimon appeared in Blizzard Fang Hiyarimon, Frozomon, and FrosVelgremon.

Guardromon and Blimpmon do looked similar (body design and color) but even though Guardromon could digivolve to Blimpmon, level still remain.

I remember in this digimon campaign I’m running we were trying to think of a evolution line for bellestarrmon, and we decided she would warp digivolve from ghostmon because Bellestarrmon is based on the dead Belle Starr so she’s like a ghost. We also had Enikimon digivolve into Omekamon, then Omedamon as a ultimate (know he’s actually a mega.), and then Armamon.

baluchimon's idea is an evolution of tapirmon, even if he is not in the pendulum. same case as manticoremon with gargomon and rebilimon with ogremon. it was confirmed that this is the idea that originated them.

Impmon being a sassy little shit is part of his charm. We'de click like a house on fire. Though he probably would have started the fire.

Assaultmon should be a Centarumon digivolution imo. Also, I feel like Terriermon deserves a proper Dark Digivolution as well as more Armor forms or at least something better then Rapidmon.....But Gold!!!!

Cupimon is probably my favorite In Training level digimon, even though it can evolve into Lucemon. Yes, this cute little digimon can turn into Lucifer or even into Satan himself.

Re: Baluchimon, Guilmon is VIRUS type and Baluchimon and SkullBaluchimon are both Data... Also, it looks like it can digivolve into Manticoremon (Virus as well), so it might as well been Tapirmon at this point. Also, Baluchimon does not appear to digivolve into SkullBaluchimon, which aside from naming, kinda makes sense.

Yeah, can confirm that Boltmon got... WEIRD Evolution Line... It's weird how Exermon, the bug of the Champions, can become a penguin, cycler or a red mamemon, but NOT Climbmon!? (And only one of them that becomes Shivamon is Shootmon!) But, there is one Evolution Line I think would work. Bastemon into BeelStarmon?

the Impulse City Digimon that aren't connected that bugs me so much is that Shroudmon is the only mega Shootmon CAN'T become despite their similar colors, similar shoes, plasma head pieces, toothy evil smiles, the yellow eyes with red pupils, the skull on Shootmon's blaster matching the skull designs on Shroudmon, and Shroudmon having a belt buckle that has lightning marks that look like Shootmon's face mark. I was genuinely upset when they had no connection

I had a weird dream today where a new variant of MetalGreymon appeared (not sure if it was in an anime or what, because dreams are nonsense). It was completely mechanic and was somehow levitating with a black gear on each of it's wings pushing it like a magnet. It wasn't touching it but it looked like it chased after it despite not reaching it. It was a pretty odd design. From the front it looks decent with both arms looking like the mechanical arm of the original MetalGreymons. But on it's back there is some kind of box that made it's design rather comical looking. And it's broken. But I can't really explain why because I don't know the Digimon names of those that appeared in my dream nor do they likely exist. Some giant Mega Level Hippo and the other was a Ultimate Level Dragon thingy. I hope that isn't some prophetic dream because it was pretty dumb. But I thought it was pretty interesting considering a digimon was using something from another digimon not meant for the thing it did to it's advantage. I think it was him using the power of "chaos" or some shit.

The natural digivolution could also influenced by their environtment and attribute affinity, if you played Digimon World 3 there are attribute requirements to get certain digivolve lines. The anime/movie mostly has their main lines while some games has the sub lines that sometimes seems to be the correct lines lol

So, I remember hearing or reading that any one Digimon can in theory digivolve into any other Digimon under specific circumstances. That said, the list is still good and it simultaneously makes me happy to see and frustrated that the listed digivolutions aren’t a thing(yet at least).

Jokermon who is an ultimate-level Digimon and was introduced in Xros Wars Boy Hunters DOES NOT Digivolve into Piedmon. Even though its entire bio literally explains that it has some relation to Piedmon as the "Trump of Passing". However, it does not digivolve into Piedmon. Whilst I guess Bandai just never made it official, Jokermon is LITERALLY the pre-evolution of Piedmon. Its theme, appearance etc just scream "Piedmon pre-evolution!". digimon.fandom.com/wiki/Jokermon My guess is they haven't made it official yet that's all. But even so, it's wierd.
