I don't think that the first person someone would go for would be someone with bright reflective pants you can't really hide...but yes you are right it's not the best idea to be part of traffic with ear buds in at any time of day. It would even be enough to just wear one headphone, that's what I do

If you don’t have your heart set on Moxie’s I’d suggest the sea foam Candy Girl skates! They’re only about $110, have pretty *thick* wheels ( they’re very stable and good for first time skates, but might limit mobility a little but you can definitely still do tricks n spins with them), the boot is * very * stable which is important for ankle support, and they’re pretty dang cute! They’re my first and only pair, tho I do plan on buying the honeydew beach bunnies one day hehe...

try looking on european websites, the roller skating resurgence is a bit more popular in the US right now! i found my skates on SkatePro, they didn’t have everything in stock but if you’re usually a figure skater they have some good skates on there with very similar jackboots! good luck xx

Try skating at all diferent days of week and times of days and you'll find other any local skaters. Skating im different nearby neighborhoods is also a good idea. I hope you find some buddies, I'm doing the same atm lol
