I agree with almost everything you say, except for the Floyd beating him. Have you seen the slow-motion YT video that shows MP actually out landing FM. As it happened I thought it was a draw or possibly 1 round to FM, but after viewing the video it seemed like a MP win, even with a torn R/cuff.

Pacquiao is 1-3 against hall of famers in this decade. I and many people thought he got outboxed against Marquez in their third fight. HBO even did a poll and 67% thought that Marquez won. Then Pacquiao got knocked out in the fourth fight. Floyd then beat him 9-3. Pacquiao did beat Mosley but Mosley was coming off a draw and a loss in his last two fights. Floyd is 4-0 against hall of famers in this decade. He beat Mosley when Mosley was coming off a great performance against Margarito. He beat Cotto at 154 when Cotto was on a 3 fight win streak. Floyd dominated Canelo when Canelo was coming off his victory against Trout. That was the best victory of Canelo’s career up to that point. And then Floyd soundly beat Pacquiao when Pacquiao was coming off a dominant performance against Algieri.
Mossimo Tiberi I think you need to do more research. Floyd tried to fight Mosley in ‘99 but Mosley’s people said no because they were trying get a fight with Oscar which they eventually did. Then Floyd tried to fight him again in 2006. It’s on RU-vid where Larry Merchant asked Mosley in ‘06 about fighting Floyd and Mosley mentioned a toothache. By the time we arrived to 2009, Floyd had become the biggest ppv star so everybody wanted to fight Floyd. But Floyd was considered a high risk low reward fighter in his early days. Cotto’s people turned down Floyd in ‘05 because they were trying to get a fight with Oscar too. Miguel Angel That is true, but they were all Welterweights that were given a tough time by Manny, a former Flyweight. Canelo cherry picked his opponents but still got beaten by Floyd, a fighter who was from a lower weight class. The substance of the wins matter to people in boxing and Canelo is still one of my favorite fighters currently.
