Very focused and helpful list, thank you. May I also add there are these two mods that should be easy enough to find that make the blood spray better and another that adds a euphoria engine like physics to npcs getting shot. I'll comment back when I find them. I've been building a load order for many months.
There is this mod called Uneducated shooter for FO4. It adds leaning in the game (like R6S or Tarkov), along with weapon sway and inertia and some other smaller stuff. This mod makes the gunplay feel more akin to COD MW 2019.
Good list but the smoke mod makes the visibility absolutely ass, which is my criticism of most modern shooters. Unless you're making a shooter aimed for realism and simulation (Like Tarkov, Squad etc.) I don't think it's a good gameplay tradeoff for more arcadey shooters.
I try to cover bunch of different mods that add new content to the game and change aspects but also mods that stay lore friendly and improve the vanilla experience!
Lovely video! I'm going through your entire mod list and wondering if you have the loadorder somewhere? There's a lot of work waiting when installing all of them so it would be great seeing the load order :) Thanks for the video. You made me reinstall Fallout 4
Comments like yours make me feel really proud and glad my videos have such high impact. I just added my load order with a hint to my mod list document!
Thanks for the suggestions! Almost shocked to see your seemingly working version of HUDCaps - the mod that's notorious for removing your save function lol
Good video but my only problem is with the Better Locational Damage mod. Its really not what I thought it was gonna be when I used it. I expected it to be quick gunfights where me and NPC's die in a few shots but instead it only seems to have applied to me lol. I was surprised when I crept up on a raider and had to pump nearly a full mag of 10mm into him but then they can turn on me and take me out in 3 or so hits with a pipe pistol. Did I install the mod wrong or something or is this just how it is? Just seems a bit unfair at times. I used the realistic weapon damage mod in Fallout 3 & NV and thats more of what I expected with this.
That sounds like there’s something not right. The reason for this could be many different things, maybe other mods. You should also check the values in the MCM. Hard to tell from here but try finding people with similar problems in the “posts” or “bugs” tab of the mod page.
How do I get Weapons of fate to work with BLD? In my Vortex, WoF is at the bottom of the list and IDK how to move it above BLD in the load order....Vortex doesnt have a simple drag and drop option like the old NMM did....
I think there is maybe few reasons why games dont use realistic reload, first is balance because without needing pull charcing handle reload is faster, so adding pulling charge handlel allways make reload allways equally fast. Second, it's just look nice, sure i know it's not realistic but i just like who it looks when pulling charcing handle.
Is there a easier way to install your mod list? I have a bunch of mods on mod organizer but I don’t want to delete them all and have to go through your entire mod list to download them. It’d be cool if there was like a file to just install in mod organizer that’ll download all your mod list.
@@thatMPSG what are you talking about bro, I was just sharing what I think would make the gun play more realistic. Don't get butt hurt it has literally nothing to do with your video.
@@outsideriehl I understand that and I didn't feel offended by your comment, even the opposite Iliked it. I was just saying that FO4 isn't a realistic shooter in the first place and my goal isn't to make it into that. It's more about the immersion and the feel. Making guns feel more powerfull by adding some visual recoil and visual effects. BLD is responsible for more realism.
