I'm glad he mentioned the need to sleep. One of my former friends made me feel bad about sleeping from 9pm to 5am. And told me "I sleep at 1am and wake up at 4am". So I started going to sleep later and kept waking at 5am. Within a couple of weeks I started getting sick. Actually he was just my hairdresser. Later it slipped out of him that he goes to sleep at 10pm. I no longer go to that same hairdresser. I stay away from people who give me bad advice like him.
So really , you've got to sit at home and do nothing You can't drink , you can have a cup of coffee , you can't smoke ,you can't do anything : really You can't, even watch too much telly without a strain on your eyes or even read a book . For God's sake
No 1 factor of suppressing immune system is lack of inner peace ( stress, fear, anxiety, etc ) . If you can manage those factors and find happiness 50% of your immunity is guaranteed.
I had good health my whole life. Then the covid lockdown happened, I was isolated from family and friends for almost 6 months, I became depressed and fed myself so much negative thoughts and insults towards myself - I developed an autoimmune condition because of that. I am better now and have learnt a great lesson because of this, that your thoughts and mood can also affect your immune system. be good to yourself. Love yourself.
@@XL-Rider1 nooo..you guys are so stupid.. they don't want you to die and that's the reason they fuckin care about your body.. it's what it does.. it's our body's defence mechanism.. it makes you sick so that you don't die.. they would continue fighting until the threat is threatening you... they get worn out cuz of our personal choices.. remember the last time you chose to finish up a bag of chips ... or you prioritized brownie over 🥕s.. That was a very unfortunate moment....for your body ..
I was glad to see that you put excessive exercise is bad because I completely agree that you can overdo it there for lowering your body's defense abilities. People think that if they run 10 miles a day that they're doing themselves a favor but I highly doubt did that kind of running an exercise is actually good for the human body or our heart specifically.
Thank you. Video is very helpful. Previously, I had somewhat an idea of what makes a weak immune system. Now, it’s only a matter of applying the healthy habits to my daily lifestyle.
It’s really frustrating to hear how beneficial sleep is when no matter what I try of good advice, my body just won’t do it. Every tiny little disturbance wakes me up, including my bladder. If anything is in there, it keeps me awake until I empty it.
Not sure if this is still relevant to you or if you’ve heard this, but an imbalance of your adrenal glands could be a possible cause. These are the glands that produce stress hormones, such as cortisol and adrenaline, as he mentioned. Basically your body becomes overactive preventing you from resting properly. Adaptogenic herbs like Ashwaganda help regulate your adrenals and help the body cope with stress. A popular drink mix is Golden Milk, also made with turmeric, which is an anti inflammatory. Hope this helps!
I have not gotten sick for 3 years now. I only get 4 hours of sleep, I am a night person, I eat a lot of junk food & take in a lot of sugar, also hate being around people. Other than that I guess I’m doing something right...”)
Being a night owl often means a late riser. Some people like me cannot sleep early in the evening but can perfectly sleep in the mornings. I believe that a good sleep is more important than going to bed early. Early mornings almost literally kill me. One cup.of weak coffee actually strengthens your immune system. The other things are alright I guess.
1) Get 6-8 hours of restful sleep (take 100% American CBD OIL and an immune booster) 2) Drink plenty of water (stop the soda) 3) Avoid stress and fear (turn off tv - and all media) 4) Eat fruit/veggies nuts/raisins beans/refried beans and rice 5) Try the no bread/sugar diet (also cures eyesight problems and joint pain) 6) Read your Bible (or you can google scriptures like Psalms: 91) 7) Get off the couch (go walking with a friend or pet) 8) Start a outdoor project or garden 9) Avoid negative people and bad habits 10) Sing Praises to God/Jesus all the day long (pray without ceasing)!!!!
I enjoyed this beneficial video very much . Much efforts and research went into the production of this good health lesson . Much appreciation to the producer and the presenter of this wonderful video . Please pass all this good information to your friends and loved ones . Again thank you .
I swear that I avoid almost everything here but still have poor immunity,,I mean having heavy flu many times is just my norm:( It’s especially difficult during this corona pandemic because I have to self-quarantine myself for two weeks 😩
I think u have allergy... There are certain factor can trigger and I affect the immune system... Just try to eat well, take vitamins c supplement, enough vit d, sleep,
I've subscribed to this most useful channel especially after the onset of corona virus it's obvious that those who had good immunity survived the corona infection while those damaged their immunity got killed by the virus
My experience is that a diet low in carbohydrates and high in saturated fat, along with not using soap on the body greatly improves the immune system. During the first 40 years of my life when I ate a high fiber, low fat diet and bathed every day with soap, I was sick at least a couple weeks each year and had pneumonia 4 times. Since I changed to the above diet and hygiene regime 15 years ago, I am rarely ever sick, have much stronger and resilient joints and connective tissues including lungs, have better cardio, recover faster, and maintain weight easily. I eat fruits and vegetables only when I crave them, and take no supplements except the occasional capsule of fish oil or half a multivitamin tablet for insurance. I also have less body odor and rarely need to use deodorant, even during heavy exercise. In short, millions of years of mammalian evolution got it right. Modern "scientific" advice is good for the economy, not for you!
@@poppyclare8620 unless you eat low to no carbs and high good quality fats. Then your body goes into a state where it becomes hyper efficient at turning fat into energy
@@poppyclare8620 Works as a general diet for an average person too. I tried it last year for 3 months with my brother whilst hitting the gym hard. He only had a few issues because he is a type 1 diabetic, I had no issues really apart from getting sick of eggs n bacon.
1- 9 hour of good sleep, 2- No Alcohol, 3- No Tobacco 4- low intake of caffeine, 5- No sugar intake 6- No junk food 7- No Cold drinks, 8- Exercise of 1 hour daily 9-A good social relations 10- 9 glass of water daily.

I also have PCOS and am Obese. But heck at least I quit smoking back in 2001!

nothing new here but good info for those who did not know. Some saturated fats are good for you, for example, coconut oil and good quality butters. vegetable oils and margarines are the bad oils.
i think sleep for 7 to 9 hours are to much for me... I think it is right to sleep early and wake up early and the most important is "quality sleep' at night. No distirbance with light and sound
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, bullied, pressured, incentivized, lied to, guilt tripped, coerced, socially shamed, censored, threatened, paid, punished, and criminalized, if all of this is necessary to gain your compliance, you can be absolutely certain what is being promoted is not in your best interest.
I like your videos: the visuals, the logic and the pleasant voice of yours. I used to watch your videos when I was taking cytology and micro biology courses in college. They were very helpful. Keep up the good work 👍
4:55ish "Eating 'excess fat'" is NOT the major reason most Americans are obese. Excess sugar, namely fructose, is what is bad. No cell in the human body can utilize it without it being converted into fat in the liver first. Then it likely just gets stored, but since it's common that Americans never go without food (sugar), they never go into ketosis, which is when these fats get used up by the brain because ketosis makes glucose from them. It's annoying how little about nutritional science the doctors are nowadays. The problem with Americans is the high amount of sugars/carbs in their diet, not excess fat.
I’ve been having allergies since I was small and I was always like have a runny nose and I’ve had it too this day and I wanna change that cuz I just don’t wanna keep living like that, so I was wondering, recently I started monitoring the amount of water I drink and make sure it’s enough and I’ll be eating better and exercising and was wondering if that’ll even help
