While that’s a good idea on paper, they can’t really, the reason the hd collection for ps3 and 360 were so poor was Konami had since lost the completed source code for the games so to make the collection the only had unfinished builds they had to sort of patch up but was easier said than done. Not sure what the situation for 1 and 4 might be like but if 2-3 went missing then maybe they just misplaced them all. So a master collection like metal gear would be harder as it would need a lot of work to essentially finish the games again due to not having the finished games to port

Since they are releasing a brand new SH2 remake they might announce they are working on the 1st & 3rd game as a package....that would be savage. Imagine the 1st game with modern graphics?!! I am looking forwrad to seeing how the movie is coming along too....the whole show omg cant wait.

Brother, the only thing that I expect from Silent Hill is to play a game that fucks me up with horror while playing it on the middle of the night with my headset on 100% in a dark room so I can finish it and feel totally depressed for how fucked up the story is. I doubt it be on this one but maybe a announcement that they are gonna release digital ports of all the games on all platforms. I even think someone even asked someone from Konami and they said that it is a possibility they will bring them back to all platforms including steam.

to be honest i really hope a colectors edition would be a mary/maria figure since theyre so integral to the games plot. pyramid head will be the obvious choice because hes iconic however theres already so so much lyramid head merchandise

What i expect: Release Date for SH2 Remake Movie news (Screenshots, cast, bts featurette, etc.) Info about WTF even is Townfall? New CG clip about SHf with more context Ton crap of prap merch. What i want: Full gameplay demo of SH2 Remake, along with release date and story/atmosphere trailer Movie Trailer and release date Gameplay Trailer for Townfall Hands off gameplay demo of SHf A new game in the original continuity with an older Heather as the "mentor" character. All previous games ported on modern platforms (With "Enhanced Edition" quality). What i dread: Mostly merch focused Ascension sequel Anything free to play or online focused. SHf is actually a PVP mobile game. The new movie tries to Frankenstein-ly hook itself in the continuity of the first 2. SH2 Remake's gonna be episodic.

I’d like to think Since 1 and 3 are directly connected games they might maybe remake those one after the other and since 2 is the fan favourite for a lot and isn’t connected that’s why they did 2 first Then can do 1 and 3 one after the other to fully connect the story

Knowing Konami, they are not very reckless, they would never announce a remake of another SH without knowing the scope of the intended remake of 2, on the other hand there have been no leaks of other projects out there, as was the case of The Short Message, which in the end did come to light. I think it's better not to have too many illusions, what they are going to show us will most likely be only related to what we already know: updates, trailers and maybe FINALLY dates of their projects, let's hope with all our hearts that it will be a great transmission

During the investor’s call, spokesperson from Konami was talking about the fiscal year and how the studio has been working on silent hill remakes as in PLURAL lol. It very well could have been a mistake though and perhaps they meant just a single remake. It was never clarified though

A new HD trilogy is extremely unlikely as Konami has long lost the source codes for the original games hence why the 2012 HD Collection was such a shit show. A SH1 remake is not gonna get announced when SH2 hasn’t even been released yet. It’s plain common sense.

No the transmission is on the 30th which we’ll probably see the release date for it at that event (unless it shadow drops which I highly doubt that)

Konami has mistreated the Silent Hill fans more than any other fandom. From cancelled projects to pachinko machines, SH fans left in the dark with long periods of time with absolutely no announcements and just silence. Terrible publisher to be handling the franchise. Almost wish Konami would let another publisher handle it to do it justice. Bloober employees on Twitter make it sound like Konami is difficult to work with and has a bad relationship with developers. As a fan it scares the sht out of me.

That Trilogy definitely won't happen since they're remaking 2. Good or bad they're most likely gonna treat it like RE3 where it'll be divided. But I'm hyped to see what the other games will be, how SH2 will look, and hopefully SHF. A show would be amazing if they keept it horror at the least and be very picky with everything. If it's like Ascension, goodbye

Why stop at just a HD trilogy? why not go all the way to Downpour? if a TV show is made i hope it doesn't adapt characters we already know like Harry,James,Heather/Cheryl,Henry etc maybe they could tell stories from comicbooks/novels etc this would allow Silent Hill fans with reduced time or a lack of interest in reading to just watch the show and enjoy previously adapted stories,personally I think a good structure for a TV show would be 6 episodes per season per character. SH1 Remake, Konami should have started with this instead of jumping straight to the fan favourite SH2 and remaking knowing it would make them money. also i disagree with your reasoning surrounding RE1 Remake as RE1R is what i'd consider a perfect remake and it recieved a remaster a few years before, at the time around RE1R was made both RE2 and RE3 had been ported and essentially remastered to Gamecube, the whole franchise was playable on Gamecube at the time and there was no reason to remake RE2 or RE3 (I also don't trust leakers unless they are some outlet like Amazon etc, Dusk Golem had previously stated that a new remake of Resident Evil 1 was in development only to backpeddle on that and say that it's RE0 and RECV remakes instead.

First off, I said one of the best selling resident evil games, not THE best. Secondly, it’s actually not. RE5 I believe is the best selling RE game currently, but it’s barely beating RE2 Remake. Eventually, I can see RE2 Remake surpassing RE5. If I’m not mistaken, RE4 is actually third.

I'm very excited but it's sad that Konami is monopolizing and destroying eFootball/PES (their best/most popular franchise ever,FIFA competitor) eFootball's graphics are even worse than the Silent Hill DEMO from 2021 or EVEN PES 2021 (compared to eFootball 2024),and the game has such bad gameplay now and it's just in a awful state,I hope they give it MORE atention than it has now......now since you're American you prob. don't like Football (soccer),so you don't care but Europeans do and PES/eFootball was one of the most popular games (it outsold Silent Hill by quite a lot)..and I truly hope once again that KONAMI PUTS EFFORT IN IT...😅😢😭 Silent Hill sales (8.8mil.) vs PES/eFootball (113mil.),also the money for Silent Hill might actually be from eFootball 2024 microtransactions that Konami milks from players 'cause they make a lot there,and also partener with huge Football clubs...
