No need to battle it out, we all know you are biased against the P320 platform and prefer Glocks or CZs. As someone who carries a P320 daily and puts several hundred rounds of Winchester white box through it monthly along with my self defense rounds, I can say I trust my life with it. No malfunctions other than my big hands preventing the slide lock from engaging, which after adjusting my thumb has been remedied. I've owned several other P320s and had no issues with them either, they eat everything I've put through them with no malfunctions.

@@jameshalfhill9919 I’m not suggesting his experience hasn’t been real, but the common thread is he’s the shooter in each case. When I first bought my Sig M11-A1, I had issues with FTE’s and the slide locking back when the mag is empty. I had never had any issues with my P226 which is essentially the same gun but a little larger grip and slide. I called Sig and he explained that most likely it was my grip and I was riding the slide. I made an adjustment and never had any further issues and now have about 2K rounds through the gun.

Love the content man, but yeah I will say the 320 take is interesting lol. Took it right out the box and used it on a pistol qualifying course with absolutely no issues. Haven’t had any malfunctions during range days either as of yet. It may be less reliable than for example a Glock over its lifetime, but far from completely unreliable. Carry one for work and I’d definitely stake my life on it.

@davidmack4185 I've been shooting Ruger firearms for just shy of 40 years, I just have a hard time looking at anything else anymore. I pick up a Ruger product for a very reasonable price. I know it's going to work flawlessly. Yeah you can spend thousands more and maybe get a slightly better off the shelf firearm, but at the end of the day, I'm no "professional " and neither are 99% of purchasers. I will say this though, I bought a cheap ($300) Savage .243 for plinking, it ended up being my go to during deer season because of its laser like accuracy, weight and 4 round capacity, great little bolt gun. Otherwise, Ruger is my go to every time.

I have not had any failures with my CA M18. I purchased about 2 months ago and made grip, sight, and trigger changes. Prior to shooting I disassembled, cleaned and lubricated the pistol. I then ran 100 rounds of 147 grain for break in and another 400-500 rounds of 115 grain range ammunition. Not one FTF or FTE. Not one issue. So my experience with the 320 is the same as my P365x and P365xl. A smooth running and consistent running piece. I do believe that some people have had issues, but most I have concerns about the cleaning and break in process.

The AR didn’t get the axe after early experiences in Vietnam because one of the world’s largest militaries went all in on it without really ironing out the bugs. They refined it until it worked because they HAD to make it work. It continues to live on largely because of modularity. Something I like about honest outlaw is he assesses guns which normal people like me cannot only afford but can also justify in the budget. Strictly speaking, I can afford stuff from the fancier gun channels, for example, the HCAR, but since I’m no longer 21 years old and fresh in my first ever above minimum wage fill time job, I actually properly value money and understand the difference between being able to afford something and being able to buy something. As absolutely awesome as it would be to have a near custom-made 30-06 heavy repeater rifle brought up to modern standards, the reality is even though I do use firearms for a living, I can’t find a way to justify spending enough money to feed somebody for a year on a gun, never mind the magazines, accessories, or ammunition. Especially can’t justify it Considering my XD, AR, and Mossberg do everything needed for 1/4 the price of just one.

(Mostly 115gr range ammo, with some 124gr sprinkled in). Of ALL of them, the only malfunctions I ever encountered were about 3 or 4 failures to eject from the P320 V-Tac the first time I ran it suppressed.... and in the 700 or so subsequent rounds (even without cleaning it), I haven't had a single hiccup since. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Yeah I've owned 5 of these guns and all of them worked fine. I'd say they are no better or worse than any other main stream striker fired polymer handgun. I definitely wouldn't put it on this kind of list and put hipoints above them simply because the hipoint is 150 bucks. I guess his logic is you can buy 4 of hipoints for the price of 1 P320 and as you experience a jam every 20 rounds you just toss the gun and grab the next one versus using the P320 and not being able to shoot Winchester white box which to be honest I've had so many issues with that ammo. My bar is usually Tul Ammo and if the gun can shoot that stuff its good. The P320 shoots that stuff just fine. Winchester I've had issues with more than just Sigs. I just avoid that brand entirely because of how problematic it is.

RE: Sccy. I bought mine with the 2 mags that came with it, and then bought another 2 as well. 2 mags ran great, one had FTF every 2 shots or so, and the last was as you describe, just nothing worked reliably, including spontaneously ejecting the mag. It was also really hard to load a full 10 rounds. I compared them visually, and the one with the failure to feed issues' feed lips were rolled in on one side, like it had been bent in. A little time with the needle nose pliers, problem solved. The 4th mag, I'm pretty sure was a manufacturing error, as the corner with the mag lock notch was more rounded, like it hadn't been stamped correctly. I put a piece of keystone in a vise, and used it as a form to tap it square. Viola, solved all the problems. Nyet, pistol is fine, magazines not so much.

I've done my own harsh tests in the form of uspsa matches, heavy round counts in short amount of time, leaving guns out in the snow for hours, gotta say the worst malfunction I've ever had has been a stovepipe from some weak Winchester white box ammo. Some people like to bash the higher bore axis, or dated design, maybe not as cool as some of the new carry guns with optics cuts and suppressor height sights, whatever it is that's cool these days, it doesn't matter, because these platforms are tried and tested by the best engineers on the planet IMO. Yes, my fanboyism is leaking through a bit lol.

The only sig I’ve ever owned is a p226 and runs immaculately, heard mixed reviews of p320s and both m17/18.

Between that and the automatic discharges, I'd never own a p320. p226 is definitely a gun on my bucket list.

I've heard of a few non-credible complaints about the 320. I'm no big fan of the 320, but I own a couple and the 9mm VTac has been deadnuts reliable in over 1400rds, and the .357Sig has been Glock reliable for over 4000rds. It may be that there are some issues, as with any manufactured product, but since it's a Sig it's worth alot of clicks if you bash them. Same with HK and Walther, nobody is interested when Rugers and Mossbergs are unreliable.

My P226 extreme was my favorite pistol for years. Incredible gun. I was looking at the p320s but went another route, so glad i did after seeing all these videos.

I really appreciate your reviews because they’re no-bullshit, no-politics, and straight to the point. Thank you.

No they're not. The dude just boils up controversial stuff he dislikes and causes a controversial discussion of dissent about it. It's all crap and trash opinions and sample sizes of 1. . .

@@brandonkey181 Truth is most cheap guns suck and people give them a pass because they want to feel like they didn’t get ripped off buying a Springfield XD. You’ve never shot a m18 or any other p320 so your opinion doesn’t mean shit. I’ve been there buddy. Maybe someday you’ll be able to afford a Glock 19x.

@@brandonkey181 When did you get a Glock 19x? Sure thing Mr. “can you review more budget 1911s” I can see your recent comments on this channel. Why would you buy a p320 if they’re as bad as you say, are you retarded? If a 19x was your first gun than shut your mouth you idiot. That gun came out 4 years ago and you have no idea what the hell you are talking about with only 4 years experience. Stop repeating crap you hear on the internet, makes you look like a moron.

@@Bigbossman12624 @Henry Peterson @Henry Peterson @Henry Peterson I think your daddy didn't teach you much respect. I've owned a G19x for about 2 years now and I was gifted a P320 not much later. My p320 has jammed on multiple occasions with good ammo, and my 19x has never jammed even with terrible ammo. My findings are generally consistent with what other people have found that I've talked to. Although these are the first guns I own myself, I've been shooting for a decade. You're pressed over an internet comment you dummy. PS there's nothing wrong with being interested in 1911s that are good and don't cost $1500 and up.

I was issued the SIG P320 RXP X COMPACT with a Romeo red dot. I wanted to hate it. We went from a 45 to a 9. I thought it would self discharge like in all the law suits. Gotta tell you that I am super impressed. 18 rounds and the trigger is pretty decent. Accurate. So far, reliable. Very. Shot all sorts of ammo. I do kept it wet but that's about it. Oh and forget about buying one. I'd have to rob a bank with my duty P320 to purchase one for myself
