@@greenninjaX2 That's how I pronounce it but a lot of people say the Q is mute so it should be Hal-Ee-Fibe-Rax, there's no agreement when it comes to that.
Think about all of the iconic monsters that didn’t make it here. Maiden with Eyes of Blue, Eater of Millions, Thousand eyes restrict, heck, people briefly had weird combos with Mekklord Granel. None of them being here is a heavy testament to how OP a lot of level 1 monsters are
you might not know, but that is a common thing that ppl can say when they are not thinking over it, ofc not that many and most will not but let say 5-20% has said that at some point.
I'm sorry to hear about the health problems. I do love the top tens and I'll always watch the channel no matter what content you put out even though I did like the other videos too
the best part about Magical Scientist is that he has a troll face. It's like "LOL I just summon as many monsters as I want from the extra deck, you mad bro?"
Top 10 Cards That Have Seen The Most Competitive Play Though I could see this easily being broken down into multiple videos. Like Spell, Trap, Monster, & Extra Deck Monsters.
Ah... Magical Scientist. Back in the old days of Yu-Gi-Oh, when it was still playable, the Extra Deck was simply called Fusion Deck and there was no limit to how many cards you can have in it. Back then, it was possible to Dark Hole the whole field, and then use Magical Scientist to OTK by bringing out a whole bunch of Fusion monsters and attacking. Even without the whole OTK combo with the Catapult Turtle, which ironically wasn't used as much as back in the days, as there are not alot of high attack Fusion monsters back then.
I am really thankful for your videos. You are lowkey one of my favorite youtubers. I hope you also continue producing content and in your other channel as well. By the way, whenever you talk about cards in general, would it take too much time to add a few deck samples that you might consider fun? For example i am currently looking for a level 1 or rank 1 deck spam.
Top 10 monsters with Floating effects Top 10 Ritual Monsters Top 10 worst Link Monsters Top 10 monsters with GY effects (aside from Special summoning itself)
Shooting quasar dragon. 5 attacks per turn, uneffected by cards' effects, can negate everything and destroy that many cads, can ignore effect in order to destroy cards, and if it leaves the field destroys all the card on the field and can special summon a shooting star from your extra deck. A bit broken isn't it?
@@matteo964 Anime Shooting Quasar Dragon : Can attack up to the number of Synchro Monsters used to Summon it. Only unaffected by the opponent's Monster effects. Doesn't have negate but ignores any effects that prevents the opponent Monsters from being destroyed. You take no Effect Damage during the Battle Phase and also that floating effect.
Wat? No Shooting Quasar Dragon cannot attack 5 times, in the Anime Shooting Quasar Dragon can attack equals to the amount of monsters being used to bring it out, which include Tuners, in real game it only count the non-tuners which usually be 2 but some decks can bring triple attack Quasars. Anime Quasar did not negate and destroy anything and everything, it has exactly same negation effect like real Quasar. It only has the additional effect to ignore "Battle Destruction Immunity" which all Timelords have. Anime Quasar does not destroy all cards on the field when it leaves the field, Yusei attacked all 5 Timelords with it and the last one just happened to have the same attack as Quasar so he got destroyed and floats into Shooting Star Dragon, which btw is the exact same Floating effect as Shooting Quasar Dragon is. I don't know what are you watching but that's definitely not Yugioh 5D
Level Eater was the key card for my 3 Card Quasar Combo, with the other two being Quickdraw Synchron and Synchron Explorer (Funny enough, Jet Synchron was also part of the combo as a target for Road Warrior)
My favorite level one is King of Skull Servants. Some one at Kunami must have liked Skull Servant enough to make an archetype with one of the best beat sticks in the game.
Magical Scientist + DNA Surgery (or another card to change it to Psychic-type) + Telekinetic Charging Cell = go through entire extra deck in one turn. You could get a bunch of high link monsters out or your preferred rank of xyz monsters out.
*TheDuelLogs* hey how about the top 10 cards that changed the way everyone played? That sounds awesome. Like how people started setting in mp2 or attacking with weak monster first and stuff like that because of certain cards!! Please consider it!
This channel shows how little I know now. I watched yugioh when it first came out. Was my life. My first deck was starter deck joey. But now the game is too confusing for me.
While I know how difficult and potentially subjective it would be, I'd love to see a video of maybe the top 10 (top 5?) cards that got OTHER cards banned (my guess would be something like Firewall Dragon would take a high spot there). I just imagine it'd be tough to pinpoint one single card and say, "Yup, you got this card banned. Asshole." It's just interesting to think about.
Top 10 Tuner Monsters (that aren't mainly used as hand traps); Top 10 Ritual Monsters; Top 10 Union Monsters; Top 10 Monsters that deal piercing damage; Top 10 Spirit Monsters; Top 10 Cards that have a better version of themselves (BLS>Chaos Sorcerer, Magical Stone Excavation>Spell Reproduction...) Top 10 Spell/Trap Cards that activate from the GY.
2010: cards in the graveyard are not useful 2020: graveyard is almost more useful than the hand. Banish zone is mostly useless 2030: banish zone is better than the graveyard. The new Void zone is the final goner though. 2040: :)
Honestly I still say that Level Eater could just have a “Cannot be used to Summon a monster from the Extra Deck, except Synchro Summon” or “If you use this effect you cannot summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except Synchro Monsters” and Level Eater could probably come back with no major issues until Konami actually tries to break Level Eater with a Synchro deck. Also... Mind Master was a combo piece in TeleDAD, it wasn’t banned for its potential, but for the fact that it made Summoning DAD really easy.
Just out of curiosity but where would you find the information for your videos? Cards to add to the list, what decks they were played in at the time and what they were used for, etc.
I’m a Synchron player and it’s shame that he didn’t even mention Jet other effect if it is sent to the GY as a synchro material you can search a Junk monster from the deck to the hand
1:05 a combo extender that extends your combos, say your repetitive greetings to anteatereatingant lol 7:09 foolish burial/mathematician don't count to search blow-up bulb? You want it in your graveyard to special summon itself, and lonefire blossom would waste your normal summon (mathematician would at least let you do a level 4 synchro summon or link with 2). Do appreciate the combo explanation with that crystal card.
I didn't play Yugioh for 3 years and recently started to do some online battles again. And wow: power creep has gone further. Is there any perspective for this game in the long term?
