Not big on Typhoons in all honesty. Boilmaker is easily the best song on it, but I don't think it was entirely consistent. I think a lot of the songs sound the same. Again, not huge on the band so willing to give them more of a chance in the future because the album does have some promising moments. As for Nurture, I do think the album has some solid tracks as well, but I just wish there was more songs with more bass drops like in Something Comforting. The dubstep millennial in me is just so satisfied with those moments still.
yeah he probably alienated a lot of fans with the change of direction. Even as a fan who prefers the growth and experimentation, it still took me a while to settle into. for Royal Blood this is the first release I've fully enjoyed from them. tight, succinct, and catchy
