Instead of Sosa running the bases waving the flag, I’d have included the game in which the Cubs clinched the NL East in 1984, ending a 39-year post season drought. And, substitute Ryne Sandberg’s two-HR gem for Javy’s solo shot.

For the last 7 years i dont know why everyone treats Zobrist rbi as the winning rbi. All the replays show his double. His double to make it 7-6 is a moot point because the final score was 8-7. Montero gets little to no credit and a lot of people don’t realize that his single scored the actual winning run of the game.

We had one of the greatest CUBS teams EVER from 2015-2021 in my opinion. We should've won the WS every year since '16. Now in 2021 the front offices want to strip it down and sell it for parts. Such a shame! Anyways GO CUBS!!!!!!!

Not that it matters but if any northside chicago people read this maybe they will understand Wrigley field is located on clark and addison and in 2016 i lived on a side street on addison and western less then 2 miles away, right after the gane ended i took my dog outside for a walk cause i made him wait while i watched the game lol Even though this game was played in Cleveland and it was late when the game ended the sky was as bright as sunrise from firerworks kinda like the 4th of july game from the sandlot, and even though Wrigley field was 2 miles away u can hear the excitement and screams i put my ground on the cement and it was shaking As a lifelong cubs fan i had to be apart of it got in my car drove as close as i could parked about 4 5 blocks away and ran into the riot that we called a celebration I seen people laugd cry at the dame time, seen a guy get a tattoo on the sidewalk right where the shake shack is now, i seen people set their own old cars on fire, i use to pick up weed from the guy that parked cars at the einstein bros bagles parking lot and when i went to juat see of that guy was their he was getting blazed with 4 cops who after years of probably breaking up fights and arresting people in wrigleyville were finally looked at more then just some dudes eoth a badge and guns Part of me feels it was a blessing they won in Cleveland because had they won here 100 years from now children would be learning about the 2nd great Chicago fire after the Cubs won the world series in 2016 lmaoo

Wow, only a few of these are worthy of top 10. Block me all you want. Cubs advancing to the NLCS isn't that exciting. They've done that several times. Sammy Sosa's 66th? No. Maybe 61 and 62. All great moments. Maybe top 50.

Absolutely shameful to include Sosa in any top 10 highlight, Missing Sandberg's game against the Cardinals, Kingman's 500+ ft homer, and #500 by Banks. Also should have had Harry Cary singing the 7th.
