I found it to be dam near useless unless you have a full squad coordinating when they spam mortar shells in sequentional order to keep up a constant barrage .... it used to be the only viable tactic for the Germans to win on the last flag in the verdun outskirts operation before it was patched and balanced .... but i haven't seen anyone bother with such teamwork since then as the game has become laughably easy ...

I wish DICE would focus their unlock assignments on teamplay rather than silly challenges that take you away from your squad. That's part of the reason gadgets like BF1's mortar, along with BF4's XM25 and UCAV got nerfed so hard.

Bf1 assignments are unbelievably terrible. I just ended up renting a server for a day because no one was running rush nor supply drop. There was no other way to unlock modal yodel otherwise.

The AA Mine is annoying when you’re an admin vehicle main that says that the AA Missile launchers are OP even having a K/D of 46/2

If you ever knew how much skill and time you need to be good on Helicopters, you wouldn't be here making this dumb comment. AA mine against Attack Helis is balanced, but against Scout Helis is straight up no skill cancer. You place the Mine randomly when the Pilot is shooting you and the mine will pierce ECMs, cause a crash or cause an easy Smaw Shot. People spent 100+ hours on Scout Helis to get good only to get shot down by a braindead gun. And not only that, its also kinda pay2win because its DLC and not anyone has it.

@@IlNamelessKinglI You're literally wrong. Helicopters dumpster infantry and anti-air does not even counter helis if they're decent. If you're a heli pilot and ocmplaion about anti air, you're dogwater at the game, maybe one day you sweats realize that vehicles that consistently carry people to 100-2 K/Ds in most lobbies aren't fun to play against or fair by any means.

@@221Prohunter You realize if vehicles ever get 100 kills in a match (unless the map is Siege, because Siege is an unbalanced mess) the fault is all on your team and infantry players/vehicle players in your team right? Pro vehicle players dont farm in Scrims you know why? Because the players in Scrims are competent. Try to get good sometimes. In all maps that have both Jets and Helis, if there is a decent Jet Pilot, no Helicopter Pilot flies anymore. Learn to use everything in the game and adapt on situations instead of crying to players that are probably better than you at everything anyways. Im a Heli Pilot but I still bitch slap everyone in servers as infantry too. I dont cry about better players than me.

@@IlNamelessKinglI You not only acknowledged I was right on maps like Shanghai and Dawnbreaker, which I already said were the issue, and then proceeded to say I was bad. The whole fucking point of what I’m saying is that they aren’t fun to play against in pubs. No shit they don’t farm in scrims, because then everyone is actively trying to shoot them out. In pubs it is NOT like that. I will be the only one of the whole team of 32 shooting at a heli sometimes. Clearly I’m the issue there, I guess. God forbid I enjoyed being one of the few infantry players that was good enough at the game to consistently Sraw helis out of the sky back before the Sraw was unjustly nerfed because heli bitches cried about it.

The rocket gun may be a bit unwieldy, but nothing is more satisfying than crushing a sniper that has been pwning your team all game under a building.

I agree.If the teams are fairly even skill wise,and everyones being aggressive,you won't be able to get many kills or stay alive very long by sitting on a mortar.

Definitly, but if there's something that could be spammed less, that's gas grenades. Don't kill us that much, but good Jesus Mary and Joseph, almost every time they start being used, everyone begins to shower them off.

Another annoying thing about AA mines is that the radar-looking thing is the mine itself. It's supposed to fire a shaped-charge jet (like the M2 SLAM, the IRL one not the in-game one), but they tacked on a missile launcher for reasons.

They can be pretty annoying too, but I barely ever get killed by SUAVs/UCAV compared to some of the other gadgets. UCAV was a pest before the nerf though

The UCAV should've at least been in the top 10. BF4 at the release of China Rising was impossible to enjoy with half the lobby spamming UCAVs while the other half either hid or backed out of the match.

UCAV still the most annoying one, and that's why I use it against campers. Pick Op Locker for example, when many people start camping outside C flag, and sometimes, trapping us into spawn, just pick the UCAV, and get ready to see some really mad people in chat, lol...

Mortar needs to come back. In some matches where the enemy has literally locked down a chokepoint, the only way to blast them is with the mortar since every flank has been covered and standard grenades won't do the trick. However, only the BF1 version, the BF4 version seems way too OP. Sticky dynamite/C4 needs to go away though.

If the mortar makes a return they must remove the map. Add a realistic mortar calculator to encourage team play

@@badgermcbadger1968 ive played post scriptum, and I say no. A realistic mortar will kill casual play. When I play PS, I have to open another web page just for the mortar calculator. I will say that a static, no marker, no mortar trail cam, map would be effective. Just your soldier looking at a piece of paper

2:15 I find it really funny you mention contact lenses because if you get hit with either CS or OC spray while wearing contacts then those puppies are fusing to your eyes. Neat little coincidence you mentioned em lol

Airbrush weapons for sure. The BF3 mortar was fine:infinite ammo but 5 seconds between shots with a small dispersion and a longer flight time. Made it hard to use and rewarding for forcing enemies to play a bit differently

Honestly I never had a problem with any of these gadgets, especially the claymores/tripwire bombs. As an extremely aggressive player I always took into account that someone somewhere will always have them set up, but ngl I've still been killed by them quite a bit though lol.

That's the whole point of K-bullets. They're most effective at stopping repairs and finish off disabled vehicles.

The AA mine was my jam. So many salty chopper pilot mains... Course, it only really worked if they weren't paying attention, but if someone really good with a chopper was melting your team well...you tended to see a lot of lock ons suddenly pop up.

I really get rarely killed from PIAT and sticky dynamite (which are fairly slow to launch). Especially the PIAT, has been seriously nerfed against infantry during the various updates. And it is not easy to get enemies at range with it.

M320 FB + Flashbang combination with grenadier loadout. Carrying 7 flashbangs at once can be annoying to enemies.

Anyone else notice the grenades you load into the M320 just suck all the way down into the barrel? Like, they don't stop when the rim hits the lip of the barrel, they just keep going down into it.

I night be late, but the PIAT can me used as a mortal also. When you ads you can see the same red dot/circle combo like the mortar in bf1. Just another reason for it to be annoying.

Rifle granades in BF never annoyed me-at least for medics. Its just a bad gadged for medic that harms the user's team more than me. I most hate in BF1: spot flare to the face-getting burned by it Mortar! useful, but can be annoying And the one I hate the most: mines if they are used for spawnkilling

Welp, being killed by SMOKE M320 was the most humiliating thing for them "TrYHaRds w/ 9999 kills on AEK". But, being insecure about their K/D they start to use defensive perk (-7% damage to the chest) which takes away one-shot capabilities from sniper rifles and... Smoke M320. But, ho-ho, surprise-surprise, M320 FB bypasses this shit by dealing 110 damage, thus, killing them with this damn defensive perk. So, I'd go for M320 FB.

At least you couldn't use a gun with the ballistic shield, so you couldn't simply run around shooting everyone while no one in front of you couldn't drop you by shooting.

The PIAT needs to do far less damage against tanks. Sure it has less range, but why take anything other than it when you can deal massive damage to players and tanks?

Xm21 is in my opinion the most anoying gadget if we talk only about bf4. When you playing on metro and always when you come back to 1 server you see this same person that always camps on this same position with xm on very far back, standing on 2 ammo boxes and raining xm rounds on the stairs. Very skill full gameplay specially when you see this person playing that all days like at least 5 hours per day... And even changing sides for having better side for camp. Whats next will be on your video? Maybe "the most anoying vehicle eqvipment"?

I'm pretty sure most of you realize that 7.62 mgs and mortars are crew served weapons that don't function efficiently without 2 or more crew member. I know I know it's just a game. But a great deal of the mechanics in these games seem hastily conceived by airsofters. Yeah, I said it 😂
