@@Crazylegoman3791 and? His hand just carries deadweight monsters with nothing of value until he can complete it. Which means his hand can be utterly destroyed by stuff like trickstar reircarnation, morphing jar, card destruction. I mean exodia decks have even trouble to stall enough till they get all 5 pieces in today's meta or to survive until they get them all.
I can summon #39 Utopia and when u attack me I will use Hundred over and then negate my attack next turn and use double or nothing and just completely win the dual if it was a 1 v 1
Bottomless destroys the monster and then banishes it, so no, unless it has total effect protection. If it has Destruction prevention, then it’s immune to bottomless trap hole. I understand there was a joke here, but if by “cannot be destroyed at all” you purely meant it can’t be destroyed by battle due to no other cards being able to easily have enough Attack, then yes, it will be destroyed, but if it had the protection given, then it would not be affected by bottomless.
The highest Attack I've ever gotten on a monster was a ridiculous 52,000 ATK Heart Earth Dragon. Both me and my opponent had banished over half our decks over the course of a particularly long duel, he blew it up while it still had material not knowing it's last effect, so it revived with 1000 ATK per banished card. It died immediately after, because of another destruction effect, but I did win the duel.
I played in a tourney when the Egyptian God cards were first released and they were legal to play. I had just spent a pretty penny on an Obelisk the Tormentor because it's my favorite monster. I made it to the finals but didn't summon him once, while ending most duels with him in my hand. In the final match I was losing, I think I only had 1000LP left and I was able to get him out and equip it with some enhancers and a Megamorph (doubles the attack), plus using the affect of tributing monsters to gain their attack power. He was 17,600 ATK and landed an attack , ending the duel and winning the tournament. The crowd went wild because it looked like I was going to get swept, they had never seen a God card used before, and the fact that I waited until the final match to use it. I'll never forget that moment.
But tributing monsters doesn't give him their attack power. It just does a Raigeki effect and prevents Obelisk from attacking that turn. Were you using the original Blue version (which was literally never legal) and anime rules?
I'm just imagining some guy who really gets into the role of the boss duel, who gets up and gives some grandiose speech, and then some kid with an Exodia deck FTK's him.
''my card has 100k attack points and is invincible, mwahahaha'' ''I SACRIFICE ALL THREE OF MY MONSTER'S ''almighty protector of the sun and sky, i beg of thee please heed my cry Transform thy self from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight I beseech thee Grace our humble battle but first i shall call our thy name WINGED DRAGON OF RA! Now go up into the sky and reveal your true form. Become the Egyptian god phoenix'' ''MOTHERF-'' Or ''i now fuse togeter all three of my egyptan gods to summon THE Egyptian god'' ''MOTHERF-''
As someone who actually runs flower cardians it is actually incredibly easy to get out Flower Cardian Lightflare. Nearly every Flower Cardian tuner monster has an ability where all materials used in a syncro summon are treated as a level 2 monster. Also considering the way that special summoning works on flower cardians (either tribute a monster to special summon, which then lets you draw a card and keep it in your hand if it is a flower cardian monster, or simply being able to special summon because a flower cardian monster below a certain level is on the field) it is easy to get enough monsters to summon it in a single turn.
“Behold my 100K monster immune to card effects!” “ I attack with Winged Kurbioh and activate the effect of Honest. Winged Kurbioh gains 100k attack points and destroys your monster”
Strongest attack monster was literally in the millions of attack until a judge stopped the duel. This was before a ban list. Butterfly Dagger Elma + Gearfried the Iron Knight + Magical Marionette. God Mode.
Might be able to do that with tagoedia, just 6 cards in hand makes it have 3600 atk/def or overdraw before the end of your turn and can be any power wanted. Pair with Belial and he can't be attacked by anything and boost with any other effects you put in the deck, just end up trying to draw the whole deck if it were possible love to see it happen whipping the target and opponent in 1 hit
I'd rather duel someone like that than having any cards banned including tournaments but maybe a separate non banned branch would be better for people who don't care about how strong the opponent are in the end you'll learn some crazy strategies
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait has Goku done it! He went Double Ascended.
Here 3 years later, cyberdark end dragon is a 5k attack immune to all activated effects, that can build up attacks every turn to up to 5 attacks in one battle phase.
Wolfox not quite. The main problem is the lack of speed. For example ghostricks with skeleton can banish 5 cards face down per turn however applying the combo takes a while, and that's what made unviable, the same goes for macro cosmos decks and some gimmicky dark law deck out there
For number 3: actually with the new malefic support it makes it easier to use and there are things called number 66, field barrier, and the new malefic zone
15:10 I once used "Summoner Of Illusions" (Tribute 1 other monster to Special summon 1 Fusion monster until the end of turn) to bring out "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon." I then used "The Light - Hex Sealed Fusion" (Can be used as a substitute for Fusion material, and can be used to Fusion Summon 1 Light Fusion monster) to summon "Dragon Master Knight." My friend was very surprised. =)
Lmao I use utopia ray victory to steal those monsters attack points and negate its abilities also your not able to use any traps or spells until the battle is over or I could use dark rebellion dragon
I attack with my monster, the nunber card dark mist. My card gains your monster's attack plus its base 100. Your monster is destroyed and i hmgive your lifepoints the equivilent of a poke.
Great video as always, Sam. Just one little nit-pick, technically there are 2 more "Malefic" monsters that allow you to attack with other monsters, the O.G. "Malefic Paradox Dragon" and "Malefic Parallel Gear". ;P
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(stops and breaths hard)ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yu-gi-oh in the early 2000s: i summon my monster and i end my turn. Yu-gi-oh right now: i summon this monester and i use its effect and i summon this monster then i use that monster effect to skip your turn then i end and since you turn is skipped its my turn again and i xyz summon utopia and i end my turn.
Fun Fact: You can use "Versago the Destroyer" as a fusion substitute. Therefore all you have to have in your hand are "Polymerization, Black Luster Solider and Versago" and bing bang boom you've got Dragon Master Knight on the field...
Them: I summon Number iC1000: Numeronius Numeronia. I end my turn! Me: ...I attack Number iC1000: Numeronius Numeronia with Petit Angel. Them: You lose 99400... Me: I discard Honest. Them: *Flips table.*
You probably mean Divine Serpent Geh which has infinite attack points in the anime. However it's TCG counterpart has ? attack points (it's actually determined by the monster who has the highest attack on the field)
Mine was Legendary Maju Garzett Tributed: Black Luster Soldier Arisen Gaia the Fierce Knight Mad Dog of Darkness No.39 Utopia Big Shield Gardna Did this on Duel Generation so my cards are kinda messy...
I summoned chimeratech overdragon against my friend. Had its atk to 20000. Then i used 3 limiter removal. I could destroy numeronius numeronia with my 160000atk overdragon
7:03 I played the Flower Cardian deck and it isn't that difficult to summon because the main deck monsters can easily special summon each other, have good protection and the ability to reduce their level to 2 for synchro summoning even though they normally would be level 10 or higher.
Lmao here a funny story I was in a duel with one of my friends and he got 5 headed dragon out he then used snow mans effect to boost the dragon to 10000 Atk I had a field of 3 cards one mirror force,Enemys controller and Magical Cylinder I felt like a fricking boss just knowing I could either destroy the dragon straight up control it like my slave or just reverse the attack back to my friend gave me this feeling of power and superiority
@@riku9377 the deck I built most recently would basically just run a bunch of cards like that, and the Yubel trio. It's extremely difficult to punch through without a way to deal with backline cards. And because I like having alt win conditions, it also has exodia (it's a digital deck). Dimensional Prison, Mirror Force, Magic Cylinder, Counter Gate, Sakuretsu Armor, Swords of Revealing Light, Negate Attack. Backing up Marshmallon, Grave Squirmer, Newdoria, and Yubel stages. I also have sangan and another similar card so I can go get missing exodia pieces
For monsters with 4500 ATK, there is also "Blue Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon." He is a LVL 12 fusion monster with 4500 ATK and 3800 DEF and made from fusing together 3 BEWDs just like Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon (though he also has an effect which allows one of the fusion materials to be a "Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon").
@@JM-qt5mg I don't know that much myself, but I'm a little bit more knowledgeable about the Blue Eyes archetype than others because it's one of my personal favorite archetypes. In the game, Exodia is pretty much the most powerful monster that is playable. There are monsters that exist that not only allow you to automatically and immediately win a duel if you activate their effect, but even allow its user to win an entire match (best 2/3 duels) if their effect is used or win condition is met. Those "match winning" cards, however, are not allowed in official tournament regulation play, so in terms of cards you can actually use in a legit duel, Exodia is pretty much the most powerful monster. However, that may be true only for the TCG (trading card game), but may not be true for the OCG (official card game - the version played in Japan). That is because in the OCG, there is a monster called Horakhty the Creator of Light, which is summoned by sacrificing the 3 egyptian gods when you have all three of them on the field. Her summon cannot be negated once it is begun and when it is completed, her owner automatically wins the duel.
Probably one of the most fun tag duels I've played was when an opponent managed to pull out timaeus the knight of destiny. And we were scratching our heads trying to defeat it, It was aweasome. Basically we had to defeat it by battle, neither of us played kaijus, so my partner managed to use an FA monster that wouldnt let timaeus copy the attack of it. I loved it was just like a puzzle.
I tag dueled with someone who used Gladiator Beast, Our opponents had A Cubic deck and a Timelord Deck It was the ultimate stall, With all 4 of us having 3 copies of Jar of Avarice I was using D/D/Ds, It was the longest duel I had ever played, We managed to win because of D/D/D Pendragon's backrow destruction effect, And D/D/D King Beowulf's Piercing Damage
Player 1: I summon dragon master knight and with his a ability he gains 2500 making him a 7500 beater! Player 2 : ok Player 1:(why isn't he faised ?. Why did he just summon a level ten monster with 0 attack or defense? Ok why did he blow it up ? Wait theres another card now but it still has no attack or defense ? Ok he blew this one up to why dose he keep destroying his own monster? Theres a third with no attack or defense what is this card ? Hm yubel ultimate nightmaro shit) Player 2 : I attack with yubel that's game fam
@@Nicknock-rw4go When you attack with Yubel Ultimate Nightmare your opponents take damage equal to the attack of the monster and the opponent monster is destroy
10:16 It's worth noting that with Five-Headed Dragon, you could use what's known as Greater Polymerization, which requires using at least 3 monsters for the fusion summon. Whatever you fusion summon with this gains two effects. 1. The monster cannot be destroyed by card effects. And 2. The monster inflicts piercing damage. So yeah, you could have a more difficult to destroy Five-Headed Dragon if you use Greater Polymerization.
one of my favorite combos ive recently started doing in duel links has been to use a power of darkness fortune lady deck, setting fortune lady earth with a spikeshield and chain face down and letting opponents attack it... then if/when it reaches level 12 set a copy of staunch defender and end the turn. when they attack they are met with a 11k defense wall of spellcaster.
For take down the 1# in this video is easy, That card just immune to be destroyed by card effect. Just banish it or return it to the deck or hand. If you want to take down this card by battle, Just use Amazoness Sword Woman. It has the effect: "Your opponent takes all the battle damage from this card". Easy right?
The strongest monster ive ever gotten on the field is a Stardust Dragon summoned with Converging Wishes with 3 Shooting Quasar Dragons, 3 Cosmic Blazar Dragon, 3 Stardust Divine Sifr Dragon and 1 Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity in my graveyard, making Stardust 42500 ATK strong.
Mihai Morar I took my 5 headed dragon and used him as tribute for a card I don't remember the name for (it gets double it's tributes stats) then sacrificed it to another and had a 40,000/40,000
Dystopia is real easy to get out in Kuriboh decks, as they can swarm incredibly well thanks to Kuribourne. Though the fact that you have to activate its effect in the Battle Phase is a bit of a hindrance to its durability.
There is a way to get around the 100k attack. Legendary dark fiend, equipped with 3 megamorphs, would only need to get to 12,500 atk, since you are almost guarenteed to have less lp than the boss. It helps that the monster is only immune to card effect destruction, not battle destruction. As such, you would need to last for 16 turns with the fiend on the field, 32 with 2 megamorphs, and you'll mill with 1 or 0.
Possibly. If you run a dark lord turbo deck you can special summon 3 level ten monsters in 1-3 turns (depending on draw luck) so it’s really not a big deal to summon
Strongest monster I got out? A 7900 ATK/DEF Winged Dragon of Ra which unfortunately got Quaking Mirror Forced(I blame myself for that because my friend was using one of my decks to duel)
My sister once got out a monster with 4100 ATK that could attack 5 times. This was her first turn, and she just drew a card that can attack the number of Equip Spells equipped to it, and 4 Equip Spells. Since we were just dueling for fun, our decks didn't coincide with the banlist and I had a Dandylion on the field, but she still killed it, the 2 Fluff Tokens, and took my life points down to 0 in one Battle Phase.
100000 ATK and can't be destroyed by card effects and your opponent MUST attack this card otherwise they lose the duel... Eater of Millions? Any card that banishes monsters? Any card that returns monster to deck, hand or simply discards it to the graveyard? Honest like cards that increase your monster's ATK by the amount of ATK the enemy monster it battles? Moon Mirror Shield?
15:18 Actually Black Luster Soldier can be a normal card instead of a ritual version. This is more ideal summoning Dragon Master Knight. You can usually get this boss out within 2-3 turns in DuelLinks.
I got a monster above infinity. This isn't a joke. Using a combination of boss duel and anime cards, I got the anime version of Hundred Eyes Dragon to infinity with thenpower of Geh and beyond that (because YGOPro is weird) with other effects. It was also immune to all your opponent's effects, couldn't be tributed, and could summon a bunch of 100 ATK tokens. Since Geh also stopped you from losing the duel, you could then play Berserk Mode which causes every monster on the field to battle every monster on the field which inflicted infinity+ times 10 damage to your opponent and infinity+ times 8 damage to you. Both of your life points will hit 0 and the tokens will be destroyed but you can't lose because of Geh so you win the duel.
I got out slifer the sky dragon and was able to reach 7600 atk points with it (I was able to add a spell to increase its attack by 600). Second to that was obelisk the tormentor at 4000 atk points.
Thankfully, there ARE ways to get around that last monster... Couldn't you use Book of Moon, followed by Nobleman of Crossout? :) It wouldn't be face-up, so wouldn't its ability that it cannot be destroyed by card effects not activate?
It says, "destroy that target, and if you do, banish it". What I would think is that it effectively means, destroy the card, and send it out of play (as opposed to destroy the card, and send it to the graveyard). My argument is that if the monster is not face-up, targeting it to destroy it doesn't trigger its effect that it cannot be destroyed by card effects, because while it is face-down, your opponent knows what its effect is while you do not (because you don't "know" what monster it is).
Ever since I first saw the Blue Peeps Ultimate Dragon, I've been in love. It's just a great memory I have from being a kid watching the anime (only ever really got to see Duelist Kingdom so the God cards didn't have much effect on me until much later in my life) and I'm still giddy as a 28 year old whenever I manage to summon it. I just feel like a boss lol
So, that 100k attack monster. I don’t follow the game at all and stopped paying attention at Synchro Summons so I am out of the loop. What is stopping other players from taking control of it and tributing it?
The only thing stopping players from doing all those things is not having those options available at every given time. And even if they have those options available, they might be countered by other effects.
I've just recently come across this channel and I haven't been playing or watching any Yu-Gi-Oh! for YEARS now. I just always liked the game. But I have just one very important thing to point out to you! You are very charismatic! I like you!
I think Ancient Gear Chaos Giant deserves some props because it's so easy to summon, and can be summoned with Power Bond for the 9000 attack. On the other hand, Eater of Millions would dispose of #1 and #1b very quickly. Banishment isn't destruction, and Eater can banish any monster it battles before the damage step. Indeed, because it isn't "destroying" #1 the player wouldn't be able to summon #1b anyway. I have Power Bond summoned Cyber Twin Dragon once. 2 x 5600 was enough to finish the game.
11:21 All you need with a good light deck to counter 5 headed dragon: Luminize Or you can use GEPD's ability to let you get the dragon off the field and attack directly Or even use GECD's ability Yeah the Galaxy Eyes archetypes seem to just be 5 headed dragon's hard counter
Speaking of Five-Headed Dragon, it's also the card with more anime appearances (I think, I'm not sure about how often Anna played the train), appeared in two different series, and I think that in its appearance in GX two copies were summoned on the field, which is interesting since boss cards usually tend to be only in one copy in the anime.
Jay Flow I got out ra with infinite attack by using 2 flint locks, a flint spell and the spell that gives 1000 life points for every equip spell you use for infinite life points Then I summoned ra
Machine is my favourite monster type in Yugioh. On duel links for XZY I use a Machina deck which most of the time I get to use Machine soldier effect to special summon another level 4 monster then I XZY summon a rank 4 monster called Number 27 Dreadnought Dreadnoid. when it destroys a monster on my turn and I end my turn I can replace the rank 4 by chosing a rank 10 monster that is summon to my field and the rank 4 becomes an overlay unit for it. The rank 10 I chose is Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer (SRGD). Most of the time it takes two to three turns to get out SRGD and I think it is a really cool design with an useful effect and amazing start attack. I do agree that SRGD effect could be alot better for it being a rank 10 monster with 5000 attack points.
